MCCONNELL KILLS DEFUNDING OF SANCTUARY CITIES

Ted Cruz lambasted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell yesterday for using a procedural strategy to prevent any Senate vote on defunding sanctuary cities.

A. In the first place, the vast majority of Americans look at Obama and his goons as being the worst thing that has ever happened to this country.  Secondly, then, they look to the Republicans to stand up to the tyrant and do something about him; that’s why the big Republican surges in 2010 and 2014.  But, the Republicans haven’t fulfilled their resulting obligations to Americans by following through with their mandates.  Their "establishment" is stupid, self-centered, inept and uncaring… and we all know it.  In my considered opinion, every Washington politician, regardless of political party, needs to be run out of office, because they’re all like psychotic zombies… who have totally lost touch with reality, responsibility and Americanism. 

Q. Boehner says he’s going to scuttle the Iranian nuclear deal.  He’s made so many similar promises in the past about various things, without success, do you think he’ll succeed this time?  (Jill ~ Corning, CA)

A. You have to let history be your guide.  The first clue comes when you hear all of the whining from the Republicans about Obama taking it straight to the United Nations; now, they can huff and puff and roll over to play dead like they usually do in these situations.  Like I’ve said many times, the Republicans should fold their tents and go join the Democrats, because they seem to be giving the country one great big dog and pony show. 

Q. What’s your opinion on pentagon orders to Marines to stop wearing their uniforms in public? And the suggestion that military recruiters pull the office blinds shut so people can’t see them?  (Lyle ~ San Antonio, TX)

A. Maybe if we take down all of the U.S. flags in the country, the terrorists won’t bother us.  Obviously, some idiots take their brains out frequently to play with them.

WHITE HOUSE NATIONAL SECURITY HACKED

Not only was the Office of Personnel Management severely hacked to the tune of over 21 million government employee records, but it is now coming to light that more aspects of the White House systems have been hacked for over a year.  Experts warn the entire U.S. national security clearance system could be compromised, that future senior government leaders and advisers could be targeted even before taking office, and thousands, of government officials could be successfully blackmailed, bribed or otherwise manipulated in the future into handing over still more sensitive information.  “There may be people walking around with higher levels of clearance than they should have,” said one expert.  (FOX NEWS)

COMMENTS:

It’s the digital equivalent of Pearl Harbor.  I’m beginning to think that even after 6+ years, this administration doesn’t yet know how to flush the toilet.

A. I appreciate and agree with the sentiment.  But, I think having a bunch of would-be Rambo’s on the loose is also asking for trouble.  Those roles belong to armed security guards, the cops and the military police... people who have the training and experience.  But, with the FBI admitting it can’t guarantee our safety against terrorists, the day may be just around the corner when we are all armed to the teeth, whether Obama likes it or not.  

Q. Obama and Kerry keep saying if we don’t suck it up and approve their nuclear deal with Iran, our only alternative is war.  Isn’t that just another doomsday scare tactic by the Democrats?  (Travis ~ Lancaster, CA)

A. Right on.  Now you have to ask yourself, who in the hell do they think they are… Napoleon Bonaparte and Genghis Khan, or Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck?   

Q. Obama now has the audacity to say again there is no scandal at the IRS and even if there was, it would be the Republicans fault?  (Tomas ~ Janesville, CA)

A. Which, of course, is why Lois Lerner pleaded the Fifth Amendment, all of those emails came up missing, top IRS executives were meeting almost daily at the White House before the scandal broke, and the Justice Department is refusing to cooperate and investigate.  Remember this: If you can’t trust what Obama says on the IRS, how can you possibly trust what he says about Iran?

VETERANS SUPPORT TRUMP, SO THERE

A veterans organization, Veterans for a Strong America, has issued a statement supporting Donald Trump, saying that regardless of his ongoing feud with John McCain, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that he strongly supports the military and veterans. 

COMMENTS:

As a former member of the military, I agree with them.  The other candidates had better start dealing solidly with the real issues facing the country or they’re going to end up on the outside looking in.  And I agree with the rest of the Americans who are sick and tired of the status quo in national politics.  Something has to change, and maybe we should start with changing their damned political diapers, because the stench of their failures as American leaders is really bad.  Peee-uuuu!

Q. What is Obama going to do about defunding Planned Parenthood?  (Marlo ~ Oxnard, CA)

A. Nothing.  Josh Earnest says emphatically that the White House considers the selling of aborted fetus body parts to be ethical and he’s refusing further discussion of the topic.  It appears to me that those of us who have often accused Obama of being another Hitler have hit the nail on the head.  Maybe Obama and Earnest would like a finger? 

Q. With all of this racial violence and now Muslim terrorism going on in this country, I’m considering buying a gun and would like to hear your opinion on it. (Sammy ~ Las Cruces, NM)

A. There’s been a surge in fun sales, especially in Chattanooga.  If you’re going to buy a gun for self-defense, you have to understand it is a major commitment.  You’re saying you will have it on you or in immediate proximity to you 24/7, because the need for it can occur anywhere and at any time.  Of course, you have to learn how to use it, practice with it regularly, and keep it clean.  Having a gun is not a lark or a fad; it’s a responsibility.  However, it is preferable to carrying a sling shot.    

Q. What do you think about the Florida gun shop owner who is refusing to sell guns or ammo to Muslims?  (Clark ~ Salem, OR)

A. I agree with the sentiment, but the Muslims are not the only ones going around shooting people.  And he would, in the same breath, deny peaceful Muslims the right to protect themselves?  Besides, I’m sure Obama is sending the FBI and the BATF over to his store right now; he’ll spend the rest of his life in some obscure jail for sure. NOTE: Late yesterday, Obama sicked the DOJ in a Civil Rights investigation on the gun shop owner).

FETUS PARTS FOR SALE; I WANT A LABORGHINI

The latest revelation in the Planned Parenthood scandal has a top executive bargaining for a Lamborghini in exchange for her agreeing to sell fetus tissues and body parts.

Aren’t you ashamed of yourself for allowing such scum to exist in this country?  Have we become totally Godless?  Is there no limit to our tolerance for moral decay and social depravity?  When are we going to wake up and put a stop to these continuing attacks on our values?

Q. Should military members be able to carry concealed weapons while on duty stateside?  (Blake ~ Nevada City, CA)

A. I believe active-duty military members, while not in uniform, should be able to carry concealed anywhere in the U.S.  I also believe that when they are IN uniform, they should be able to carry non-concealed, military issued side arms if they have taken training in the use of such side arms, and they should have reasonably prompt and easy access to rifles and shotguns.  If the military doesn’t trust them with weapons, then what are they doing in the military in the first place?  Are we supposed to arm them with spit wads and sling shots? 

Q. Cops found over 12,000 guns and two tons of ammo in a dead man’s California home.  They say there was no indication of criminal activity.  Why in the world would a man want 12,000 guns and two tons of ammo?  (Jane ~ New Washoe City, NV)

A. Maybe he was an investor.  Guns hold their value and if they’re quality guns that are not made in huge numbers, they can actually increase in value over time.  Now, as for the ammo… perhaps he was preparing for the day when Obama and Bloomberg were going to show up and try to take his guns. 

Q. Why was the White House so stubbornly refusing to lower its flags to half-mast after the Chattanooga shootings?  (Jill ~ San Diego, CA)

A. That was an “up yours” to Americans and military personnel who don’t like his Iranian nuclear “deal.”  You will also note that none of the five military personnel who were murdered there were black.  That's a sad way to have to look at it, isn't it?

BOOM, BOOM TA BOOM!

A series of explained underground explosions in Toledo, Ohio largest cities has authorities and residents completely baffled.  The most recent boom occurred Tuesday afternoon of last week, the fifth such occurrence in just one month.

Q. How do you think we should deal with the continuing illegal border crossings and drug trafficking from Mexico?  (Leonora ~ Colfax, CA)

A. I would invade Mexico, kick out the corrupt government and police, and then declare the country to be the 51st state of the United States.  Then I’d install Donald Trump and John McCain to be the co-Governors.  But, then… I’m just that kind of guy.  Aren’t you glad you asked?   

Q. Now that the Iranian nuclear “deal” has been approved by the United Nations, doesn’t that make it official regardless of what Congress does?  (Nance ~ Bernalillo, NM)

A. Regardless of what Obama would tell you, the U.N. does not rule the United States.  Nevertheless, I look for the Republicans to fold on this issue like an accordion.  They’ve become a whole lot of talk and little action.  We had great hopes after the 2014 elections and those hopes have fizzled faster than a bottle of French tonic water. 

Q. Do I understand the EPA is now trying to ban automatic dishwashers?  (Seth ~ Livermore, CA)

A. Actually, this time it’s the Department of Energy for a change.  They want to limit the number of gallons of water a dishwasher can use to 3.1.  Now, I can just see a load of restaurant dishes going into the machine and getting washed with only three gallons, can’t you?  On top of that, we common folks will just run the cycle twice, thereby using MORE water.   First thing you know, we’ll all be coming down with dysentery and we’ll be using six times the water in our commodes plus the sewer plants will be overloaded, so to speak.
