BAD CASE OF OBAMACARE HEMORRHOIDS

The Obama Administration announced yesterday that it has signed up 5 million people on ObamaCare. 

COMMENTS:

This is a shocking and sudden jump from the 3 million signups of just two weeks ago.  It smacks to high-heaven of being another Obama statistical lie.  Let’s examine the facts: insurance company say 50% of signups have yet to make their first premium payment.  Obama officials deny they have any way of knowing how many have paid, but whisper under their breath something about 80%.  If we give these guys every benefit of the doubt and 80% of 5 million have signed up and made their first payment, that’s 4 million.  I’d put money on something closer to 2.5 million.  Nevertheless, somewhere around 6.7 million people have had their prior policies cancelled.  That’s a NET LOSS of somewhere between 4.2 and 1.7 million people who have health insurance.  And,having spent well over $1 trillion on this boondoggle so far, Obama and his goons are running around Washington smiling and patting each other on the back for a job well done.  They want us taxpayers to buy this line of bull?  What unmitigated damned gall.

A. I think it’s all about states losing cigarette tax money; they keep complaining about the unproven possibility that e-cigarettes may lead people to smoke the real thing.  You’d almost believe they want people smoking tobacco, just for the tax money.  Their answer: tax e-cigarettes.  Don’t you just love their endless efforts to separate you from your money?

A. I’m sure I was just one of many who managed to get the word out, but thanks for the thanks.  If Obama is so concerned about what other countries think about us for our control of the Internet, remind them that they are free to go and invent their owned damned Internets.

A. They all wonder where Obama gets the guts to try and make them swallow such a program.  I’ll say one thing for him: he sure as hell is converting a lot of younger Democrats to becoming Republicans, Libertarians and Independents.

MALAYSIAN PLANE IN PAKISTAN?

After a source inside Boeing revealed that missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 had landed in Pakistan, the Malaysian government decided to investigate the flight simulator of the airline’s pilot, according to LIGNET.  The Boeing 777 reportedly can land on a 5,000 foot runway, but needs at least 7,500 feet for takeoff; there are many runways of that length in Pakistan with hangars where the plane can be hidden.  Due to time zone change since Pakistan is west of Kuala Lumpur, it would have been dark when the plane landed. 

COMMENTS:

LIGNET is usually a very reliable source.  I’ve been saying since the early days of this event that I felt the plane was on land someplace, and have included Pakistan as a possible destination.  It makes absolutely no sense that planned turns were programmed into the aircraft, probably before takeoff, and that elaborate maneuvers were taken to avoid detection unless it was intended from the beginning that the aircraft be landed unharmed.  Pakistan will have the ability to refuel the plane with 45,000 gallons of jet fuel without raising much suspicion.  The probabilities now point to an intended terrorist mission, I believe; I also fear the lives aboard were lost.  As a side note, I also mention that we left behind many airfields in Afghanistan capable of landing and hiding a 777 and that a fully-fueled 777-200ER could reach New York City. Remember, the longer it sits on the ground the more likely it is to be discovered; it can be flown below radar for significant distances.

A. No, I do not believe it is improving.  Too many economic experts are expressing concern that we may even be on the precipice of collapse of the American dollar.  It was said that when Obama threatened Putin with sanctions over Ukraine, Putin retorted that he could sink the US economy by dumping US dollars; hence the weak response to the Crimean situation.  What we do know is that many of the economic indicators touted by the Obama Administration are akin to the promises of ObamaCare… outright lies. 

Q. With the signups for ObamaCare lagging so far behind requirements, doesn’t Obama now have to face up to the fact that Americans don’t want his damned health care?  (Pansy ~ Houston, TX)

A. Potentates don’t care what the citizens think.  He will rob from the military, from Medicare… wherever he can find money and cut other programs… in order to shore up and save his prized ObamaCare, because ObamaCare is the cornerstone for his plans to convert us into total socialism before he leaves office.  He’s already diverting Pentagon funds, Medicaid and Medicare to ObamaCare.  Now then, ask yourselves why the Republicans are allowing it to happen.            

Q. I hear the Oklahoma sheriffs got into a tiff with the State Legislature?  (Harvey ~ Des Moines, WA)

A. Correct.  Around 40 sheriffs meet every year with the politicians in the State Capitol.  This year, one of the legislators complained because the sheriffs were wearing their guns in the Capitol Building.  Thee sheriffs were abruptly told to disarm or leave and… they got up and walked out.  I agree with them; they protect us at the risk to their own lives.  The action of the Legislature was insulting and demeaning, and every Legislator who allowed that to happen should be removed from office in November.

WHERE IS THAT PLANE?

Three more days have passed and authorities seem to be no closer the finding the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 than they were on day one of its disappearance. 

COMMENTS:

We are slowly getting updates.  For example, it is now known that the 777 was actually a later version known as the 777-ER200.  It holds 45,000 gallons of jet fuel and has a range of 7,700 miles. The pilot has 18,000 hours of experience and, as far as we know, an unblemished record.  Everything gleaned so far indicates that the pilot was in charge of the aircraft throughout its flight and that the event was well pre-planned.  That all being said, I rule out the plane going into the southern Indian Ocean area; there are damned few places to land.  Going straight West or Northwest, the plane could reach the Eastern coast of Africa, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Iran, Yemen… That all leaves a lot of room for postulation and speculation.

A. If there are Libertarian candidates, I’ll vote.  If not, I won’t; but, I sure as hell will vote in November.  I still see no signs of the Republicans getting their act together and that could spell disaster in November, ObamaCare debacle or not.

A. No.  But, they are adding 138,000 new codes that make it virtually impossible to sort all of this out.  138,000 new codes; that’s beyond ludicrous.  It’s even beyond asinine.

A. Sounds to me as if they are making sure they can launch an attack into South Korea.  And, pray tell, who would stop them?

CITIZEN DAVID VS. EPA GOLIATH IN WYOMING

Andy and Katie Anderson have eight acres of land in Wyoming upon which they built a stock pond to hold fish and attract birds.  The pond was permitted by the State of Wyoming.  The USEPA is threatening them with $75,000 per day in fines until the pond is removed, saying it violates the Clean Water Act.  The Andersons point out that stock ponds are exempt from that Act, but the EPA is not backing down.  Johnson plans to fight. “This goes a lot further than a pond,” he said. “It’s about a person’s rights. I have three little kids. I am not going to roll over and let [the government] tell me what I can do on my land. I followed the rules.”

A. As of 4:00 PM [yesterday], everybody in the world has had something to say about it.  The most recent conjecture is that it climbed to 45,000 feet after takeoff, then two transponders went off one-at-a-time, then it made an abrupt turn to the west and descended to 23,000 feet and made a couple of more turns heading basically northwest before they lost track of it.  That suggests evasive tactics.  The question now is: did the plane make it to its intended destination, wherever that might be, or did it crash into the ocean enroute before it got there?  It was below radar and changed course several times.  They need a hardened runway 5,000 to 6,000 feet long; if they intend to fly it anywhere, they need 31,000 gallons of jet fuel and a way to start the engines.  For the moment, I’m ruling out capture by an alien spacecraft.    

Q. I just read that the Russians have captured a U.S. drone that was flying over Crimea.  How come that’s not in the news?  (Royce ~ Brownsville, TX)

A. Because Obama doesn’t want it in the news.  Every time Obama turns around, Putin is showing the world how weak and incompetent the United States has become.

A. Yes.  We invented it, (not Al Gore), we expanded it and we wired the world with it.  Now, Obama is content to let some other country decide when to shut it down or what the rules will be for using it.

OBAMA TO CONGRESS & AMERICA: I REFUSE TO OBEY THE LAW

President Barack Hussein… Obama has vowed he will veto a proposed Congressional bill requiring the President to follow the law.  Taking the position he does not have to do what Congress tells him to and that Congress has no authority to force him to obey the law in any U.S. Court, Obama has told Congress he will continue to use his Executive Powers to do whatever he wants and he will veto any attempt to make him comply with the law. 

COMMENTS:

Whyizit that everyone with a "Hussein" in his name is a threat to world peace?  Well, the Constitution does provide the answer, and it’s called “Impeachment.”  I therefore do not believe Congress has the authority to enforce such a law because, by oath of office, the President is required to uphold the Constitution and to faithfully executive the laws, and the remedy for failing to do so is provided.  But, here it is: Obama is now seizing dictatorial powers over the United States, unless by some remote chance… you get on the phone and force the House to vote Articles of Impeachment against him.  The Senate, firmly in Obama's pocket, will change its composition in November; then, and only then, is there a possibility that he will be found guilty and removed.

A. John Kerry is flying there for Saint Patrick’s Day and he’s already warned Putin he’d better back out of Crimea… or else.  I presume that Putin is in the process of issuing orders for the troops to get out in case Obama decides to stop allowing Russian vodka and caviar to be sold in the U.S.  Seriously, my guess is that the Crimeans will vote 100% to go with Russia.  Anyone who might even think about voting to stay with Ukraine has already been shot. 

Q. How do you react to Obama’s recent statement that Americans should reevaluate their cellphone and cable bills when it comes to paying more for ObamaCare?  (Milo ~ Kingman, AZ)

A. The plain truth is you don’t need your cellphone or cable TV.  In fact, you don’t need your PC, laptop or tablet either.  I think Obama should be allowed to take all of your paycheck and to provide you with the food he deems appropriate for you to eat and to live in accommodations he decides you should have.  You should be relieved of having to make those decisions for yourself because government can make them for you.  Don’t you agree?

A. He’s not.  There will be a lot of talk, but no action… just like his “efforts” to get Americans back to work.  You see, he simply doesn’t give a damn about the Democrats or anyone else for that matter.  Well, you propse, how is he going to govern if he loses the Senate?  The same way he is right now…. He will govern by intimidation and the fact that the current Republican hierarchy doesn't have the spine to do anything about it.

JAN BREWER CALLS IT QUITS

Arizona’s Governor Jan Brewer has announced she will not seek a third term.  Brewer could seek another term under Arizona law since she inherited the Governorship after Janet Napolitano left to become Secretary of the DHS.

There is no truth to the rumor that Brewer will be nominated to become Obama’s Secretary of Immigration.

Putin told him off and Obama has therefore washed his hands of it; the country has been dismissed from his mind.  Thank God for him, the missing Malaysian Airline story came along, as did Sibelius’ testimony on The Hill and the heat up of the most urgent global warming crisis.  Kerry has been sent on a new diplomatic mission, to tell individual states they had better start talking about the global warming crisis in their states, or else.  Or else, I presume chickens are going to start laying soft-boiled eggs.  I might also note that Ukraine has no oil reserves to speak of; that might have something to do with it.

A. No.  All they want to do is go to the bottom of the email, fill in your name and address and contribute $10, $20, $50 or $100.  Their “surveys and petitions” are simply gimmicks, but if you insist on giving to someone who IS raising hell about these issues, send ME your $10, $20, $50 or $100… Express Mail preferred, Western Union acceptable.   

Q. Do you have an opinion regarding Obama’s new Executive Order requiring businesses to pay more overtime to employees?  (Thelma ~ Portland, OR)

A. As a business owner, my position is that Obama has no authority to tell me how to run my business; this is a free country and I can run my business any way I want.  If I refuse to comply, and I will, he can throw my ass in jail and I’ll be the first of many political prisoners yet to come.  My employees are entirely free to work elsewhere if I don’t provide them with the working conditions they need.  I have not lost an employee in many, many years over the job conditions I provide.  That is exactly and precisely how I feel; on the other hand, I’m a consultant and I have no employees.

200 MILLION AMERICAN CREDIT FILES STOLEN!!!

A massive breach of security has landed one of America’s big three credit bureaus and hundreds of millions of consumers in hot water. KrebsOnSecurity reports that a stolen identity marketplace run by a Hieu Minh Ngo, a Vietnamese scammer, hijacked and distributed as many as 30 million IDs, and he had access to many millions more. The credit bureau under scrutiny: Experian, according to a breaking news report by KIM KOMANDO.  

COMMENTS:

I’m flabbergasted.  Credit bureau files contain everything about you… date of birth, Social Security number, credit cards and account numbers, savings balances, average checking account balances, mortgages, loans, employment and more.  The only people who know more about you are the NSA and the IRS.  It is absolutely imperative that you scrutinize credit card and checking account transactions on a daily basis and that you investigate and report discrepancies promptly.  Change account passwords frequently, keep your computer offline except when you’re sitting at it, turn your computer off when you’re not using it, be wary of phishing emails…. Double your awareness of everything to do with your finances.

REAL UNEMPLOYMENT SOARS

Regardless of Obama Administration proclamations that the unemployment problem is improving, 233,000 more people were unemployed at the end of February, according to a PATRIOT UPDATE report.  In February, there were 10,459,000 unemployed individuals age 16 and over; in addition, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistic, there were 91,361,000 Americans, 16 or older, who did not participate in the nation’s labor force in February, because they neither held a job nor actively sought one.

PUTIN TO OBAMA: “UP YOURS”

Obama and Kerry have been talking about economic sanctions against Russia unless Putin withdraws his troops from the Ukraine.  Putin has now responded by saying that any U.S. sanctions imposed on Moscow over the crisis in Ukraine will boomerang back on the United States. 

COMMENTS:

There is some speculation that Russia may dump U.S. dollars on the world market, thereby devaluing the currency and throwing the U.S. economy into a nosedive.  There is also discussion about stopping U.S. inspections regarding missile dismantling.  Putin is making it clear that he is not going to take any adverse actions by the U.S. or the European community lying down.  Okay, Barry, what’s your next brilliant move going to be… shutting off the importing of Russian vodka to the U.S.?  What are we going to do if the Russians quit ferrying our astronauts back and forth to the International Space Station?  There’s nothing like dealing with these things from a position of strength, is there?

A. They won’t get to the bottom unless they get more aggressive.  They really should have given Lerner immunity; I think the prize will be proof that Obama deliberately and personally instructed the IRS to go after his political enemies and that the Tea Party targeting is merely the tip of the iceberg. 

Q. What do you think happened to that passenger plane heading from Malaysia to China?  (Peg ~ Wichita Falls, TX)

A. I don’t think it turned around; if you have time to turn around, you have time to at least send out a distress signal.  You have a pilot, a co-pilot and navigator as a minimum crew, and one of them should have been able to communicate problems to the ground; so, an abrupt event is likely.  They were not over tall mountains, so I discard the possibility of running into one during a blinding fog.  That leaves some type of explosive event aboard the aircraft, such as exploding fuel tanks, running into another aircraft, or an on-board bomb.  The fact that there were two men aboard with stolen passports is ominous.     

Q. Part of Obama’s sales pitch on ObamaCare was that no one should be saddled with huge and unexpected medical bills due to health conditions.  I’m reading about Fred Rosamilia from New Jersey who pays $800 a month for the “top notch” ObamaCare plan and who was told after cancer surgery that his surgery was not covered under the plan.  They are now considering medical bankruptcy.  What do you think Obama and Sebelius have to say about that?  (Todd ~ Shreveport, LA)

OBAMA’S TEN WORST EXECUTIVE ORDERS

1. Amending ObamaCare’s employer mandate, providing an unauthorized subsidy to congressional staff, and encouraging state insurance commissioners not to enforce certain requirements.
2. Inventing labor law “exemptions” in violation of the WARN Act so that workers would not receive notice of impending layoffs days before the 2012 election.
3. Waiving the mandatory work requirement under the 1996 comprehensive welfare reform law, which required able-bodied adults to work, prepare for work, or look for work in order to receive benefits under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.
4. Ignoring a statutory deadline and refusing to consider an application related to nuclear waste storage at Yucca Mountain, which activists sought to block for years.
5. Circumventing the Senate’s duty to provide advice and consent on appointments and instead making “recess” appointments in violation of Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution when the Senate was actually in session.
6. Deciding not to defend the constitutionality of the federal definition of marriage in court.
7. Implementing Common Core national standards through strings-attached waivers from the No Child Left Behind Act.
8. Intimidating Florida to stop its voter roll cleanup, which included removing ineligible voters such as noncitizens, before the 2012 election.

If they vote to stick with the Ukraine, Putin will announce he will keep his troops in Crimea for 12 to 18 months to assure stability; that 12 or 18 months will never come.  If they vote to go with Russia, Putin will totally assimilate Ukraine.  Either way, Putin wins.  Obama has again been outwitted, outflanked and outplayed.  It’s too bad he’s not just plain out, out, out.

A. Because they both know they are incapable of dealing with any of it.

A. Correct.  At least half of existing plans will be eliminated and premiums will go up by at least 20% with much more out-of-pocket co-pay expenses and fewer drugs in the formularies.  That’s all part of the “It’s Better for You” ObamaCare strategy.
