The New York State Senate has introduced a bill that would require anyone making a post on an Internet site to disclose their legal name, IP address and their home address in the post.  If passed, there is a strong possibility that the FCC or Congress would pass a similar rule or law. 

COMMENTS:

This means that, should you offend someone for some reason, they could come knocking on your door and blow your head off unless, of course, Obama gets reelected and confiscates all guns.  It means that you will have to watch what you say or the IRS, EPA or DOJ gestapo might come to pay you an unpleasant visit.  The brilliant Marxists who dream these things up are prime candidates to become White House Czars.

HP LAYING OFF 27,000

The Associated Press is reporting that Hewlett-Packard will lay off 8% of its work force to save $3 billion or more in payroll expenses. 

COMMENTS:

8% saves $3 billion at HP?  I wonder how much 8% of the Federal work force would save.  Hell, if you just lopped off 4% of the Federal work force and laid off only top echelon people, we could save a huge bundle.  Let’s start at the White House.  This large a percentage of layoffs is an ominous sign for the economy.

A. Yes.  But, maybe they can nose around in some school or Mosque records and dig up something.  But, it remains a mystery to me and others as to why the Republicans and conservative media won’t follow the story.

A. A Gallup Poll has 51% at Pro-Life and 42% at Pro-Choice.  Not too long ago, it was just 33% Pro-Life.  If you accept that humans have a soul, then you accept that the soul is the essence of human life.  What follows logically then, is that an abortion at any stage denies some soul human life.  So, while you may technically be destroying “just a fetus” by some technically defined point in the term, you are really actually destroying a human soul.  Now, the atheists and agnostics would argue that there is no law against killing a soul.  I find that stance hard to swallow.

A. They are alleging that they are scapegoats, that the problem existed long before they got caught in Columbia.  In other words, if O.J. Simpson killed his ex-wife and got away with it, that means anyone should be able to kill their wife and get away with it.  Having said that, I expect that most women will sleep with their guns under their pillows tonight.  It’s a felonious argument in more ways than one.

UNIONS GO MARXIST

Donna Dewitt, the outgoing president of the state AFL-CIO, took a bat to a piñata which bore a photo of South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and her quote, "Unions are not needed, wanted or welcome in South Carolina."  In a video of the event posted to YouTube, Dewitt is encouraged by others at the gathering, with calls of "Hit her again" and "Give her another whack."

COMMENTS:

First off, I apologize for not posting yesterday.  Once in a blue moon, s*^t happens.  To be fair in this scenario, Haley had made remarks to the effect that unions are not welcome in South Carolina.  That was dumb, dumb, and dumb.  Unions are a necessity in our democratic civilization to keep business from getting out of line, which they occasionally do.  On the other side of that argument, unions more often develop strong-arm tactics that are totally out of line.  All things considered, the bashing of Haley on a piñata is reminiscent of burning someone in effigy.  It is a tactic employed most often by Marxist organizations which seek to create fear and submissiveness.  Dewitt is nothing more than a totalitarian Marxist tool and needs to be relegated to the has-beens of our democratic society.  Let us pray that we never hear of her again.

The “allies” as we old folks know the terminology, do not exist anymore.  We continue to isolate ourselves through Obama diplomacy.  Obama wants us to believe there is a possibility of an agreement here because he doesn’t want Israel to do a preemptive strike.  He wants to do his own strike in late fall to ensure his re-election. 

Q. What’s the latest on the claims that Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate is phony?  (Martin ~ Tonopah, NV)

A. The Hawaii Department of Health has refused to confirm to Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett that it has a valid birth certificate on file for President Obama.  What does that tell you?    

Q. I hear talk that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush should be the pick for Vice President.  What do you think?  (Esteban ~ Tucson, AZ)

A. I hear that Jeb Bush did a good job as Governor of Florida.  His father and brother, however, both did lousy jobs as President.  If Jeb gets the VP nod, it is obvious that he is being set up for President after Romney if Romney gets elected.  It’s just another Republican Party repudiation of what America wants our country to do.  We need a fresh face, somebody who is an avowed conservative; the Republican Party will flatly refuse to allow an avowed conservative into any position in a Republican administration, period.

IS OBAMA GETTING READY TO STRIKE IRAN?

BBC NEWS is reporting that Washington’s envoy to Israel, Dan Shapiro, is saying the US has plans in place to attack Iran if other measures fail to stop it from developing nuclear weapons.    

COMMENTS:

Obama has previously ruled such an attack out, but there is a growing rumor in Washington circles that Obama will strike in the late fall if he continues to be behind in the polls and if it looks as if he might lose the Presidency. Of course, where there is smoke, there is fire, and Obama’s popularity in the polls surged right after the killing of Bin Laden.  The theory is that he would get such a “bump” in popularity following such a strike and its timed closeness to the November elections would ensure him a second term.  And, frankly, that is how Obama thinks and works.  He will do anything necessary to win so that he can complete the installation of his Marxist Socialist regime in the U.S.  All of that could be the very reason Obama has been madder than hell at Israel; he doesn’t want them to steal his reelection from him by striking themselves, and he wants to stall the date as much as possible with “talk” and reduced sanctions against Iran.

He just announced, during the G-8 summit at Camp David, "There's now an emerging consensus that more must be done to promote growth and job creation right now."  Right now only because his reelection prospects are getting worse by the day.  His track record during his first four years at the helm is convincing more and more people that he should move his Premiership to Kenya. 

Q. So much money is being spent on this election that it has caused our free and open democratic process to transform from being a vote of the people to being a “battle of the purses.” How can we stop this “buying” of our Presidency?  (Kim ~ Seattle, WA)  

A. Montana has enacted a law to contain campaign contributions from corporations and a case to overthrow that law is now headed to the Supreme Court; 22 states side with Montana.  The problem is, doesn’t such a law inhibit the rights of free speech and association? Aren’t our own laws ensuring individual rights being used against us?  The problem is that we have allowed the worst people in the country to gain the most political and financial power in the history of the world.  We need to change ourselves before we can change that fact. 

Q. I just saw that Google is coming out with a new technology that will make available the precise location of every ship at sea to the world public.  Can’t that hurt our U.S. Naval security?  (Josh ~ Redding, CA)  

A. Absolutely.  But, I’ve never seen anything, including national security, stand in the way of a business wanting to increase its bottom line.  That’s why you have Wiki-Leaks. I was born and reared in an era where you protected the national security at all costs, even if it meant making less money.

MORE TO REV. WRIGHT AND OBAMA TIES

Although Obama has vocally distanced himself from Reverend Jeremiah Wright, there is growing evidence that the relationship was more than that; it was like a bond between two soul mates.  Herman Cain is now advocating that Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney go for the throat on this issue in his campaign.  “The reason that the liberals are going to call it racist is because President Obama is black and Jeremiah Wright is black. . . . It is not racist,” Cain said. “They hide behind the race card any time that someone wants to attack the president on grounds that he would freely and liberally attack somebody else.”

COMMENTS:

There is a whole gamut of things about Obama that should be explored.  I’d like to go after some of his ties to organized crime and communist groups.  Cain is correct; we need to flush this stuff out and send Obama down the toilet.

Greece is tottering again; The European Central Bank said it will temporarily stop lending to some Greek banks to limit its risk as President Mario Draghi signaled the ECB won’t compromise on key principles to keep Greece in the euro area. Obama is pressuring Germany to feed more money into the system because he fears another economic crisis could sabotage his plans for another four years.  So, Obama would just as soon see Germany take the risks of taking it in the shorts just for the sole purpose of maintaining his Presidential power?  What a guy! 

Q. I just read that there is a new theory about why Obama won’t release his birth certificate; it’s not necessarily that he was born in Kenya.  It could be that he was actually born in Hawaii but that his father was an avowed member of the Communist Party.  (Walter ~  Canyonville, OR)

A. Personally, I think this theory and story is pure bunk propaganda being manufactured by Obama’s campaign people to try and deflect further inquiry into his place of birth.  I say… he is not a U.S. citizen qualified to be President and if he is… prove it.  Obviously, he can’t.

Iran’s cyber warfare capabilities lag behind those of China and Russia, but one expert claims, “what it lacks in capability, it makes up for in intent.” Iran also reportedly is heavily investing in a ‘cyber army.’”  As far as they are concerned, there's more than one way to skin a cat.

OBAMA’S KEYSTONE PIPELINE REFUSAL IS SCREWING US ROYALLY

Recently discovered reserves of oil in Canada that could be shipped to the U.S. through the Keystone Pipeline are larger than those in Venezuela and Saudi Arabia combined according to an article on FoxNews.com.   And this oil doesn’t come from a nation with a history of tense relations with the United States; Canada is among the most stable democracies in the world. Not a shot has been fired in anger toward the United States in 200 years.

COMMENTS:

And there the oil sits, certainly destined to go to China because we have a President who prefers to play political games over solving the nation’s real issues. That volume could move us significantly toward energy independence and lower gas prices for the next 100 years, as well as employing tens of thousands of jobs in construction, refining, distribution and related industries.  Don’t tell me his poop doesn’t stink.

Absolutely.  He promised that people with incomes under $250,000 would not be affected.  Middle class families take note: A family of four with an aggregate income of more than $88,000 annually or an individual earning around $44,000 could find themselves badly strained by healthcare costs under the Obama plan. It’s just another in the endless string of outright lies that Obama has perpetrated on the American people.
