G.O.P. MAY BACK CLINTON IN ELECTION

Top officials in the Republican hierarchy are saying they would back Hillary Clinton for president if Trump wins the GOP nomination.

COMMENTS:
Thank God, the end of the Republican Party as we have known it is finally at hand.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I’m absolutely disgusted that the president is off to Argentina doing the tango while Brussels is still mopping up terrorist blood.  (Clair ~ Cheyenne, WY)
A. We’ve been allowing him to act this way for seven years; we even reelected him, knowing what a total jerk he really is.  Why should we expect him to acquire any attributes of a human being now?

Q. Do you think there will be a terrorist attack in the U.S. during Easter?  (Felizardo ~ National City, CA)
A. I wouldn’t be surprised and fully expect some terrorist attack somewhere in the world during this weekend.

Q. Cruz is very angry at Trump and screaming that Trump has no business going after Heidi, Ted’s wife.  Didn’t Cruz start it by releasing a nude photo of Trump’s wife?  (Laird, ~ Miami, FL)
A. Yes, he did.  Cruz is full of despicable behavior on the campaign trail; he makes Attila the Hun look like Mister Clean.   I can’t believe I once had him on my short list of favorites for the GOP nomination.

WAS UTAH CAUCUS A SHAM?

Sen. Ted Cruz walked away from Utah with the state’s 40 delegates, but some voters left disillusioned due to billionaire George Soros’ ties to the process and fishy behavior at caucus sites, according to WND.  “The precinct chair splits them up, and starts handing stacks of them out and tells people ‘take one and pass it down.’ No checking credentials, IDs, nothing. I’m sitting at the end of a row and people start handing me stacks of extras,” said one participant.  “I literally had over 50 ballots in my hand. … There were no apparent controls … and ballots [were] being handed around like napkins.”

COMMENTS:
And those ballots marked for Trump were dumped?  I didn’t expect Trump to win in Utah, but I didn’t expect him to come in third, either.  You know the old saying about how those who count the ballots control the outcome?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why is Putin removing his troops from Syria?  (Kiley ~ Round Mountain, CA)
A. One of the main reasons he sent them there in the first place is that he wanted to get on-the-job training for his troops without being right under the noses of the Russian people.  He’s been bolstering his numbers of troops and now he’s making rumblings about going back into Ukraine… with fully trained troops just back from Syria.

Q. Do you think we should have surveillance of Muslim mosques?  (Sally ~ Cleveland, OH)
A. If we have legitimate reasons to believe that terrorist activities are being conducted in a mosque, church, cemetery, library or anywhere else, we should be conducting extensive surveillance.  And since Obama is so strongly against it, maybe we should start at the White House.

Q. I know that many terrorists transferred out of Gitmo have returned to the battlefields.  Have any more Americans been killed as a result?  (Milo ~ Carlsbad, CA)
A. Yes.

ILLEGAL ALIENS ON NATIONWIDE MURDER SPREE

According to TOWNHALL.COM and ICE, 124 criminal illegal aliens released from prison by Obama have committed 134 murders since 2010.  Important to note is the fact that this data only includes the criminal aliens who were arrested and released by ICE; it does not include those who were released by local law enforcement agencies or the more than 300 sanctuary cities around the country.

COMMENTS:
And Obama wants us to turn in our guns?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How well do you think U.S. intelligence agencies are prepared to defend us against terrorist attacks?  (Bali ~ Southfield, MI)
A. Not as well as they were prepared in 2008, before Obama took office.  For one thing, technology has advanced tremendously since then, and our government hasn’t kept up with it.  Then, Obama denigrated the CIA, NSA and other intelligence gathering sources and destroyed their morale.  Many analysts say we are just as vulnerable now, if not more so, than we were before 9/11.  In the meanwhile, of course, tens of thousands more unvetted immigrants from Middle Eastern countries have entered the U.S. and we have no idea who they are.  The proof is in the pudding: It’s taken a whole lot of pissing and moaning and four months of time, but the FBI is finally going to get into that Apple IPhone used by the San Bernardino terrorists.

Q. The Obama administration keeps harping on how great the economy is, but I don’t see it.  Is this another Obama lie?  (Jeb ~ Folsom, CA)

Q. They’re predicting the time is just around the corner when we’ll be no longer allowed to drive cars, because they will all be computerized and self-directed.  Do you really think Americans are going to tolerate that?  (Sol ~ Bremerton, WA)
A. Why not?  We tolerate a president who is driving our country into the gutter, don’t we?

NORTH KOREA FIRES MISSILES AT JAPAN

Breitbart is reporting that North Korea fired two ballistic missiles at Japan Friday.  One landed in Japan’s territorial waters short of land and the other evidently exploded in flight.

COMMENTS:
The White House said nothing; Obama flew to Cuba.   Japan is madder than hell.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How did the subject of stun guns end up in the Supreme Court?  (Blake ~ Burbank, CA)
A. There’s a law against citizens owning stun guns in Massachusetts.  A woman there was arrested, although she claimed the right to protect herself against an abusive former boyfriend.  Her attorney argued that the ban violated her right to bear arms and the matter eventually ended up in the Supreme Court, which ruled in her favor.  Arms are arms; they don’t need to be guns.  They can be guns, bows and arrows, knives, stun guns, sling shots or spit wads.

Q. Obama wants a raise?  (Suzie ~ Pocatello, ID)
A. Not immediately; he wants to increase retirement pay by 18% for all ex-presidents.  I think he considers it to be a Cost of Living Adjustment, similar to the 0% he gave Social Security recipients in 2016.

Q. I heard that a top GOP henchman has declared that the party will choose the presidential nominee, not the party members?  (Carlos ~ El Paso, TX)
A. Curly Haugland, a top member of the RNC Rules Committee, said over the weekend: "The media has created a perception that the voters will decide the nomination and that's the conflict here.  Political parties choose their nominee, not the general public contrary to popular belief.”  That being the case, why do they go through the process of primaries and caucuses, and just what do they need party members for?  Oh, that’s right: they want our money.

SHOWDOWN IN ANIMAS

Several hundred ranchers, the New Mexico Congressional Delegation and officials from public security agencies such as the Border Patrol, U.S. Army, National Guard and border-county sheriffs, all met in the New Mexico town of Animas last week to talk about our broken border with Mexico.  “The border isn’t secure,” said Bill McDonald, co-founder and executive director of the Malpai Borderlands Group, which manages a working cattle ranch and conservation effort on nearly 1 million acres of the Bootheel. “It’s like a balloon. When they tamp down in one area, (drug traffickers) move somewhere else. They’ve got all the technology to move where they see a weakness and right now the weakness is in southwest New Mexico.”

COMMENTS:
Hopefully, they’ll all vote for Trump, because no one else in the presidential race seems to be interested.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What are your thoughts about Lindsey Graham doing a 180 and supporting Cruz?  (Verna ~ Denver, CO)
A. It seems like virtually every loser in the country is being attracted to the Cruz camp.

Q. How can a cell phone just catch on fire, like what happened last week on an airplane?  (Ole ~ Madison, WI)
A. It must have been a hot telephone call.  Lithium batteries make me nervous, especially since they’re now using them in rectal thermometers.

Q. I’m surprised that Obama put forth such a moderate name for his Supreme Court nominee as Merrick Garland.  Why do you think he did that?  (Chelsea ~ Arlington, TX)
A. I think the only guy calling Garland a “moderate” is Barack Obama.  Garland is definitely not in favor of the Second Amendment, for example.  Garland clerked for the Supreme Court’s liberal icon, Justice William Brennan, and was reportedly considered for a cabinet post in President Obama’s administration.  He has also has demonstrated a remarkable level of hostility toward the right to keep and bear arms, voting to uphold D.C.’s very restrictive gun restrictions and siding with the federal government in its plan to retain Americans’ personal information from background checks for firearm purchases.  Obviously, you can’t judge a Judge by his robe.
