MORE SCANDAL: EPA

The EPA has been charging conservative groups seeking information... fees normally waived for the press, media, green groups and liberal organizations according to the Competitive Enterprise Institute and THE BLAZE.  CEI had its requests denied 93 percent of the time. Similarly, requests from conservative groups Judicial Watch and National Center for Public Policy Research were approved half the time, and all requests from Franklin Center and the Institute for Energy Research were denied.  Most green groups, including EarthJustice, The Waterkeeper Alliance, and Greenpeace, saw their fees waived. In fact, according to the report, 92 percent of requests from green groups were waived by the EPA.

COMMENTS:

Just keep repeating over and over to yourself… “The White House has no enemies list.  The White House has no enemies list.”  THIS WHITE HOUSE DOES NOT HESITATE TO SEEK WAYS TO PUNISH ANYONE WHO DOESN’T ROUTINELY SAY, “YES, SIR!  YES, SIR!” This is the way they did things in every oppressive, dictatorial country in history.  Your freedom of speech and your freedoms of association no longer exist.  What are you going to do, grab your guns that you soon will not be able to own and go after them?  WAKE UP!

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. Is it true that the IRS gave confidential information it was obtaining to liberal groups with close ties to the White House?  (Sandee ~ Victorville, CA)
A. Yes, and that was also against the law, as if it matters to the Obama White House.  The group, ProPublica, has admitted to receiving the documents.  Some of the highly confidential information obtained was published and it is alleged that other information was forwarded to the White House.

Q. Since Holder is insisting that the Justice Department investigate the IRS scandal, what do you think will come of it?  (Bart ~ Bozeman, MT)
A. Exactly what happened with the Fast & Furious investigation by the Administration into the Administration… nothing.  I just wonder how many times Obama will end up exerting “Executive Privilege” before this is all over.  Maybe Jimmy the Greek will make odds on it.

Q. What do you think of the firing of the Acting Commissioner of the IRS by Obama?  (Buster ~ Show Low, AZ)
A. That wasn’t a bloodletting; it was more like a pinprick.  He was on his way out anyway, so no big deal.  We should have expected some directors of agency offices fired as well, like a whole house cleaning.  What this tells me, and the way it was done, is that the orders putting the targeting of White House enemies came from someone in the White House.  Look for Acting Commissioner Steven Miller to get another job soon.  Remember those who were fired at State after the Benghazi Massacre?  They’re either in new jobs or still drawing a paycheck while sitting at home, and that’s a fact.

TWISTING SLOWLY IN THE WIND: ADMINISTRATION TURNS THE BLAME AROUND

Here we are with another admission of culpable wrongdoing by a top agency of the Federal Government.  Eric Holder had a press conference yesterday defending his agency against the seizure of phone records, cell phone records, emails and other information regarding the Associated Press, its reporters and its managing officers without warrants and without advance notice as required under the law.   He spent the time insisting that there had been a serious national security leak and that his people were totally justified in doing what they did.

In the meantime, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was on the defensive in his daily briefing regarding the exploding I.R.S. scandal and Obama’s assertion Monday that he didn’t know anything about it until he had read it in the papers, although the White House Legal Counsel had been notified many days before.  The tentacles of the illicit scheme reach at least into the top levels of the I.R.S. in Washington, DC.  Of course, Obama and Carney both claim the Benghazi story is over and has become a Republican political vendetta.

COMMENTS:
I suppose disregard for the law in going after the AP is negligible in the overall Obama scheme of things.  I cannot fathom the White House Legal Counsel knowing of an impending scandal of the I.R.S. size without telling his boss.  If the Benghazi story is over, why won’t the administration allow witnesses to be named and to testify?  Once again, the White House is not to blame; all of the evidence being to the contrary, it’s always someone else’s fault.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Has anybody besides the Tea Parties and Patriot groups been scrutinized for audit by the IRS?  (Josefina ~ Foster City, CA)
A. The internal I.G. timeline shows a unit in the agency was looking at Tea Party and “patriot” groups dating back to early 2010.  But it also shows that list of criteria drastically expanding by the time a June 2011 briefing was held. It then included groups focused on government spending, government debt, taxes, and education on ways to “make America a better place to live.” It even flagged groups whose file included criticism of “how the country is being run.”  By early 2012, the criteria were updated to include organizations involved in “limiting/expanding government,” education on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and social economic reform.  In other words, unless you’re a flaming liberal, your odds of being audited are way up; the KGB will be watching.  And aren’t you pleased that the I.R.S. is in charge of ObamaCare?

Q. Do you think any heads will roll at the I.R.S.?  (Sig ~ Spokane, WA)
A. Possibly, but keep in mind that once fired, they might testify against the Administration in a Congressional investigation.  Cleta Mitchell, one of Washington's most respected elections attorneys, told NEWSMAX she has tangible proof that high-ranking IRS officials in Washington were fully aware of the agency's campaign to target conservative groups for heightened scrutiny, despite their denials.  She also thinks the President was aware of it for some period of time.

Q. Why do you believe Obama should be impeached?  (Manuel ~ Clovis, NM)
A. Win, lose or draw, I believe an impeachment process is the only way we will ever get at the truth.  Obama and Holder with otherwise not allow the proof to come out.  If, as we all suspect, Obama had personal knowledge of Fast & Furious, the I.R.S. scandal, the A.P. scandal and/or the facts about Benghazi and he did nothing about it, those are impeachable offenses.  I have a strong feeling that, not only will he go down in history as being the first black President, but also as the first black President to be impeached and removed from office.

ANOTHER SCANDAL: JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TRYING TO SHUT DOWN A.P.!!!

FOX NEWS is reporting that “the Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a ‘massive and unprecedented intrusion’ into how news organizations gather the news.  The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.”

COMMENTS:

The story is that the Justice Department wants to know who leaked information about a failed terror plot.  The inference is that there is no Freedom of the Press under the Obama Administration and that the Associated Press needs to be silenced and punished.  All of these stories now getting attention underscore the fact that we have a corrupt, tyrannical and despotic faction in charge of our government and they all need to be impeached and, where applicable, charged with crimes and put in prison.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. I suppose you’re really happy and licking your chops now that another Obama scandal is coming out.  (Dani ~ Modesto, CA)
A. Yes, I am.  I am glad that some of the treachery and tyranny ongoing under the Obama White House is finally percolating to the attention of the American media.  Now, if they will just engage in reporting the facts as they are, and keeping their opinions to the opinion page, you and I can judge for ourselves what the real facts are.

Q. What do you think should happen to the abortion murder doctor, Kermit Gosnell?  (Melaney ~ Winnemucca, NV)
A. A long, painful and tortuous death would be preferable.  And, I’d like to know how much funding his clinic got from Planned Parenthood and how much of that came from federal coffers.

Q. Now that the whole world knows how to make a dangerous bomb by using a pressure cooker, just how is our government going to protect us?  (Kirsten ~ Centennial, CO)
A. Our protectors have their hands full.  A Saudi man with a forged passport was just arrested at the Detroit Airport with pressure cooker in hand.  He lied concerning the details of the pressure cooker.  Then, there was the first responder to the fertilizer plant explosion near Waco who was in possession of the makings of a bomb.  We really need to keep our eyes and ears open.

WHERE ARE THE CCW CARRIERS?

Here we are with another mass shooting, this time in Louisiana.

COMMENTS:
There is absolutely no reason that such a shooter should be able to fire off more than 10 rounds before being shot himself.  It’s a fact that some 8 million people are licensed to carry a concealed weapon in this country.  If you are licensed to carry and you are trained in the use of a sidearm during such situations, there is no reason why you should NOT carry your loaded concealed weapon whenever you are out of the house.  If you encounter such a situation and law enforcement is not yet present, you have an obligation to your fellow citizens to bring the gunman down.  Louisiana has at least 42,000 licensed carriers.  I cannot believe that at least two of them were not in the crowd when the shooting occurred.  I cannot believe that no one took out the shooter.  I’m not advocating vigilantism; I’m advocating gun responsibility.  If you’re not prepared or willing to carry your sidearm, be responsible in another way and turn in your CCW permit; there’s probably someone who has a need for it.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why won’t you let the damned Benghazi thing go?  That was nine months ago!  Get over it already, you bigot.  (Ellen ~ San Francisco, CA)
A. I’m an American, I pay taxes, I’m entitled to the truth.  If you don’t want to know that truth, if you’re satisfied believing everything your government tells you, you belong in another country.  It’s your attitude that made Hitler’s rise to power possible.  I hope that answer snapped your girdle to the bone.

Q. That Federal Judge who ruled that teenage girls have the right to the “day after” contraceptive pill without parental knowledge or consent has done it again.  Although the Obama Administration put a 16-year age restriction on that ruling, the judge rebuked that order on Friday and said the federal government will not get a reprieve from his order to make a form of emergency contraception available to all ages without a prescription.  He’s blatantly usurping parental rights!  (Gertrude ~ LaGrande, OR)
A.  You’re wrong.  The children belong to the society and government; parents have no rights, remember?  What you really need to understand is that we have allowed these things to happen to our country because we have turned away from our Constitutional duty to pay attention to what is going on in our government and to rein these idiots in.

Q. The House is going to have hearings [Wednesday] into the IRS targeting of conservative groups for tax audits.  They’re asking for documents, etc.  The White House and Administration have yet to turn over documents in Fast & Furious or the Benghazi Massacre.  Do you think Congress will get documents this time?  (Demi ~ Meridian, ID)
A. Not until the I.R.S. has a chance to scrub the documents, and I don’t mean with Tide, either.

GOP REFUSES TO COOPERATE WITH OBAMACARE “DEATH PANEL”

ObamaCare requires that the Democrats and the Republicans in the House and the Senate each appoint three members to ObamaCare’s Independent Payment Advisory Board, infamously dubbed a "death panel" by Republicans during the 2010 elections.  Three remaining members would be chosen by the White House and the Board would basically decide which seniors could obtain medical treatment and which ones could not.

COMMENTS:
WHERE IN GOD’S NAME IS THIS COUNTRY GOING?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think Obama will do for Michelle on Mother’s Day?  (Priscilla ~ Holbrook, NM)
A. He’s too wrapped up in himself to do anything like that, but he might send a dozen roses to that “best looking attorney general” in the country.

Q. Do you think the Benghazi cover-up was due to Obama’s wanting reelection, or something else?  (Barry ~ Hillsboro, OR)
A. Something else.  The risk that he undertook with the cover-up was much too great, I think, for a mere political consequence.  I think there is something much, much more sinister than that, or he would not continue the cover-up to this day; after all, he’s been reelected, now.

Q. Nancy Pelosi slammed the Republicans and demanded that they back off from the Benghazi investigation because it is interfering with other things that Congress should be working on.  Doesn’t she just want the Benghazi investigation to stop?”  (Cornell ~ Westlake Village, CA)
A. You know you are on the right track when the pigs start to squeal.
