President Joe is demanding the Democrat-controlled Congress re-implement federal oversight of elections in defiance of a 2013 Supreme Court ruling striking down such provisions of the Voting Rights Act. They seem to be gambling that the Supreme Court will be impotent to enforce their ruling.
Perhaps they're correct?
