CRUISING FOR A BRUISING

A Norwegian cruise ship headed for Los Angeles turned into a total nightmare as construction workers sailed along with paying passengers and proceeded with upgrades on the ship.  Passengers say they had to endure carelessly stored chemicals, cordoned-off emergency exits, noisy power tools, construction dust and potential toxic exposure.

"As a gesture of our gratitude for our guests' patience and understanding, we will be extending a future cruise credit of 25% of their cruise fare paid, which can be applied towards another cruise of their choice from now through March 31, 2019," Norwegian management said.  Yes, it could be that a future cruise under the discount could also be... under construction.  Could it be Mark Zuckerberg owns that cruise line?

A recent study shows that people continue to make new brain cells, even as they grow older.  That is, of course, unless your name is Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell.

The story around Great Britain has been that Prince Charles carries his own toilet seat wherever he goes.  His response when asked by a reporter?  “Oh, don’t believe all that crap.”  Everybody should know that no British Prince carries his own throne...

An out-of-control garbage truck in Philadelphia totally trashed, (pardon the play on words), an entire row of cars parked along the street.  The driver says it was some type of mechanical malfunction.  Word around is that he's a Democrat and all of the car owners are Republicans...

California Senator Kamala Harris says that spending any money on a border wall would be a gross misuse of taxpayer money.  She doesn't mention the fact that California alone spent over $26 billion of taxpayer money coddling illegal immigrants last year... That's enough to build the whole damned wall.

In the meanwhile, law-abiding and conservative Californians are pleading for help.  Over 1 million driver licenses have been issued to illegal aliens in the state since 2015, meaning that over 1 million more Democrats can vote, whether that is legal or not.  There is therefore no way conservatives or Republicans can ever hope to gain control of the state government and stop its continuing, oppressive abuses of power.
