Fourteen years to the day after Islamic terrorists took down
the World Trade Center and crashed into the Pentagon, Russian troops are moving
en masse into Syria. Heavy-duty Russian
military gear has been arriving there for days and the now-arriving troops have
recent prior experience in Russian military actions in Crimea. They have already begun operations in support
of Assad’s battle against Syrian rebels.
COMMENTS:
I guess this means Obama is going to be heading back to the
golf course any moment now.

Q. I think Donald Trump has crossed the line in his attacks
against Carly Fiorina’s looks. Do you
agree? (Dolly ~ Vacaville, CA)
A. A great deal of his luster is that he says what he thinks
and he is stirring up the “politically correct” Washington establishment. But, I still think you have to display some
decorum and manners, and this attack crossed that line. If he keeps this type of attack tactic up, it
is bound to take the shine off the “luster” and he’ll end up looking like a bad
lump of coal.
Q. There’s a new bill introduced in Congress that will hold
gun stores liable for any criminal acts of people who illegally buy guns from
them. What do you think? (Virginia ~ Helena, MT)
A. It’s fraught with bad thinking. How many criminals get their guns from
licensed gun dealers? Supposing the
dealer runs a background check, gets an okay and sells the gun to someone who
does not qualify to own the gun… let’s say a known nut case who slipped through
the cracks… and that individual kills someone; should the dealer be liable? We keep trying to address the symptoms without
addressing the problems, but evidently most liberals aren’t even capable of
figuring out what the problems really are.
Q. I hear there is a movement by gay organizations in
Wyoming to take away tax exempt status from any church that lobbies for
religious rights or that won’t allow gay marriages. It seems to me the nation is on a collision
course with those who would tear our Constitution apart. (Levi ~ Casper, WY)
A. You are correct; I wouldn’t even be surprised if gays
start burning down churches. The gay movement is not about gay rights, it's about fascists and Marxists undermining our form of government.
