WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING…

While the country was preoccupied with the post-election menopause of the Clinton Camp, some bright young environmental lawyer was pleading before the Supreme Court, demanding that it force the Senate to vote on the appointment of Merrick Garland to the Court.  Chief Justice John Roberts declined to hear the case.

COMMENTS:
The Democrats now have something new to whine about.  I’m beginning to understand why their party mascot is a jackass.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I heard that two electors refused to vote for Trump in the Electoral College vote.  Did any refuse to vote for Clinton?  (Desiree ~ Oakland, CA)
A. Four that I’m aware of.  As angry as the Democrats are, those four probably are moving to Sweden.

Q. What can Obama possibly do to retaliate against Putin over perceived election hacks?  (Liz ~ Pocatello, ID)
A. Maybe he’ll move to Russia and run for premier in the next election?  Of course, he’ll provide them with a birth certificate from Blagoveshchenski.

Q. More than 250 pounds, $2 million worth, of “magic” psychedelic mushrooms were seized from a grow house in Brooklyn Friday.  That’s a helluva lot of mushrooms.  Could they realistically have sold that stuff?  (Slim ~ Amarillo, TX)
A. They were slated to be delivered to a “Never Trump” rally in Chappaqua.

STRAIGHT FLUSH

An attempt in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina to repeal the State’s LGBT bathroom law is being supported by that State’s legislature; the law, which allowed anybody to use the restroom of their sexual choice, will be repealed today.

COMMENTS:
All of the perverts in the State will be raising holy hell tomorrow.  Maybe they’ll ask for an “intelligence” briefing?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why does Loretta Lynch come out now and admit that her meeting with Bill Clinton on the Phoenix tarmac was a mistake?  (Fannie ~ Chehalis, WA)
A. Because the Clinton Camp is blaming that incident for Hillary’s loss, and Loretta wants to be Hillary’s Attorney General when Hillary runs again in 2020.

Q. Any thoughts about the propane supplier in Main who is refusing to deliver fuel to Trump voters or supporters?  (Miles ~ Eureka, CA)
A. I think he might be criminally liable if a customer froze to death.  Left-wing radical Democrats have never ever thought through the consequences of their actions; that’s why we’re in the mess we’re in.

Q. You live in California. What are you going to do when all of these new oppressive gun laws go into effect?  (Merv ~ Lincoln, CA)
A. Ignore them; I don’t know of a law enforcement officer in the state who is willing to enforce them.

NY TIMES SICK, “DEMENTED”

Paul Krugman of the NEW YORK TIMES suggests that Trump wants a 9/11-style attack on the United States in order to stir up his base.

COMMENTS:
Trump calls the article “demented.”  I agree.  It’s poisonous, venomous, and exhibits all of the attributes of psychosis.  He has no sense of dignity, propriety or fundamental Americanism.  He is the epitome of what the Democrats have become: sick and tormented, cruel and soulless self-serving radicals. Talk about being "deplorable..."

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you believe the Russians hacked the elections?  (Bernadine ~ Ukiah, CA)
A. I don’t necessarily believe that they hacked, per se.  I believe for certain that they attempted to hack Trump, Clinton, DNC and RNC computers and probably the individual states voting equipment as well.  I also believe the Chinese, Iranians and North Koreans attempted to hack; that’s just the nature of foreign relations these days and has been for decades.  We hacked Angela Merkel’s cell phone, didn’t we?  I don’t know that anyone attempted hack was successful.  As far as WikiLeaks goes, ask yourself if anything they published or released was alleged by any party to be untrue.

Q. Do you think China will actually return the stolen submarine drone?  (Riley ~ Snohomish, WA)
A. After they’re finished analyzing it, they’ll probably return it in pieces in a crate... through the Taiwanese government just to make a point.

Q. Trump says the Chinese might as well keep the drone.  What do you think our reaction should have been?  (Lolita ~ Twin Falls, ID)
A. I would have flown about 50 B-52 bombers at extremely low altitudes over the Spratly Islands about ten times and dropped a few duds while I was at it.

THREE-PARENT BABIES

Great Britain has approved “three-parent baby” fertility treatments after regulators gave the green light.  The first baby conceived using mitochondrial donation was born earlier this year in Mexico, where there are no rules on its use, but Britain is the first to officially authorize it.

COMMENTS:
In this case, eggs from two females are united with sperm from one male.  So, do I presume the male donor could be legally responsible for double child support?  Will the fetus have four arms, four legs and two heads?  How do they sort out which female will carry the fertilized egg?  What if the three split up; who gets parental rights?  I’ll bet a world full of attorneys are licking their chops right now.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think the House Intelligence Committee will do now that intelligence agencies have refused to make an appearance? (Brittany ~ Geneva, WI)
A. Nothing, just like they’ve been doing for the last eight years. They should go sit on something.

Q. How do you feel about a mandatory ten-day waiting period for gun purchases, like they have in California?  (Laurence ~ Salt Lake City, UT)
A. I think it’s fine unless the buyer has already taken the required gun safety course and previously purchased a gun.  The purpose is to prevent impulse killings, but if you already have a gun, what’s the point?

Q. Now that Jill Stein’s recount agenda has been terminated, I understand that in the process it was discovered 37 Michigan precincts had more total votes than they had ballots?  (Carlton ~ Spokane, WA)
A. Yes, and have you noticed that the mainstream media is not covering or investigating it?  Gosh I wonder why not.

TICKED OFF DEMOCRATS LITERALLY COMMITTING SUICIDE?

Actress Lisa Edelstein is suggesting that Alan Thicke checked out of life early on purpose, to avoid the “Trumpacolypse.”

COMMENTS:
With any luck at all, maybe it will turn into a national protest movement.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Any reaction to Trump naming Ronna Romney McDaniel to be the new Chair of the RNC?  (Ginger ~ Santa Rosa, CA)
A. I don’t know anything about her, except that she’s Mitt’s niece.  I can’t stand Mitt, but she might be entirely different... even palatable.   We’ll soon know.

Q. Should sports fans be allowed to carry guns into stadiums?  (Breck ~ Reno, NV)
A. Under the following conditions, yes: (1) the gun must be concealed, (2) the carrier must have a concealed carry permit, (3) the carrier cannot have alcohol or weed in his/her system.  I’m all for it.

Q. A whole lot of people object to electricity-generating wind turbines because they kill birds, particularly eagles.  I’m inclined to agree with them.  What say you?  (Rainwater ~ Tuba City, AZ)
A. They could easily develop some type of bird deterrent, such as screening, netting or some ultrasound bird repellent.
