KEYSTONE COPS?

No, this is not about the Keystone Pipeline, which Obama is using every trick in the book to scuttle, (below).  This is about Benghazi, all of the associated bungling by the authorities, the resulting cover-up, and Obama’s prior declaration that the War Against Terrorism was over. This is about the Boston Marathon bombing, the subsequent arrest of a student from Saudi Arabia and his eventual release, the Tsnaraevs and the fact that the older brother was actually on a terrorist watch list, that the FBI proffered that they had no foreign terrorist connections, the eventual admission that they knew he went to Russia and Chechnya but they had no record of his return, by Janet Napolitano’s statement that they knew when he went and when he came back, and by the emerging cover-up.  This is about Paul Kevin Curtis who was summarily rounded up and charged with sending three poison letters to government officials including The Omnipotent One, and then who was released with all charges dropped because there wasn’t a shred of evidence against him.

Just what kind of idiots do we have watching the chicken coop?  Everyone makes mistakes, I agree.  But, the stories above all add up to sheer stupidity and incompetency.  And the word leaks out that 15,000 foreigners here on a temporary visa have never showed up to their countries and we don’t know where they are?  How long is it going to take for some jackal to sneak a nuke into this country?  I say we are more vulnerable as a nation right now than we have ever been in our history.  We’d damned well better be doing something about it, and soon.

A. It appears the FBI did not have their man and that they jumped to conclusions.  The first clue came when they found no traces of the poison, ricin, in his home or other locations.  I guess the FBI has been on a bad roll lately.  They’re now investigating J. Everett Dutschke from Tupelo, Mississippi. 

Q. A couple of months ago, we heard that the Keystone Pipeline project had cleared all hurdles from authorities including the State Department.  Obama said, “Not so fast.”  Now, out of left field, the EPA has turned on rhetoric insisting that State’s review was insufficient, alternate routes were not considered and the pipeline could be a disaster.  Obama has suggested that the oil is going straight to Texas ports to be shipped overseas.  That doesn’t make sense to me; why wouldn’t they just run a pipeline to one of the Great Lakes and ship from there?  We need this oil in our country; why are Obama and the Administration trying to scuttle it?  (Angel ~ West Seattle, WA)

A. Obama stated well before his initial election that he wanted to force Americans to pay $10 or more per gallon of gas; that’s his energy policy.  Allowing more oil into the country or more domestic exploration will only drive prices down.  He’s on your side, right? 

Q. Do you have an opinion yet on the proposed new immigration law?  (Frances ~ Roy, UT)

A. I think it needs refining.  The borders should be secured first and the plan calls for simultaneous amnesty.  I also believe that the virtual full-scale amnesty will result in the Democrats having an unfair advantage at the election polls for years, perhaps decades to come.

BLOOMBERG: SCRAP THE CONSTITUTION

His Holiness Michael Bloomberg, Lord God in charge of all U.S. lunacy, says that the Boston Marathon bombings justify a re-interpretation of the Constitution.  “The people who are worried about privacy have a legitimate worry, but we live in a complex world where you’re going to have to have a level of security greater than you did back in the olden days, if you will.  And our laws and our interpretation of the Constitution, I think, have to change.”  Bloomberg also invoked gun control while making his point about the Constitution and security, insisting that there are interpretations of the Second Amendment that allow for “reasonable gun laws.”

COMMENTS:

Here’s another left-winged radical who thinks that only he has the right to make U.S. law and that he has every right to compel us to abide.  There are only two ways, Mr. Bloomhead, to change the meaning or the verbiage of the Constitution: (1) Amendment and (2) Revolution.  What’s YOUR choice, as if I didn’t already know?  God forbid the day you and Obama both get locked up in the same room together, because you both believe you and only you are The Omnipotent One.  We don’t have to give up any of our liberties to make this nation more secure, but we DO need to march all of the radical thinkers and doers off the end of the plank at the deep end of the cesspool.

A. Those who believe he has been severely wounded politically have another thing coming.  This man is not finished, by any means.  I don’t even know that he will be finished after he eventually ends up in a cemetery someplace.  Evil continues to exist wherever vigilance does not.

A. He is totally against Obama’s gun control proposals.  Having ticked off both Democrats and Republicans, his odds of being reelected are below 0%.    

Q. I understand there is a new strain of bird flu that is highly lethal.  Can you tell me any more about it?  (Delcie ~ Riverton, WY)

A. Originating again in China, it is much more easily transmitted from birds to humans than prior strains and there is growing concern that the virus may have learned to jump from human to human.  "The situation remains complex and difficult and evolving," says Keiji Fukuda, World Health Organization assistant director-general for health security.  I recommend that you not fly to China; odds are you’ll be grounded here anyway due to Obama's airport delays.

NEW TERRORIST PLOT UNCOVERED

Canadian authorities said yesterday afternoon that they have uncovered a terrorist plot to blow up a railway at Niagara Falls.  The Al-Qaeda sponsored attack would have dropped 225 passengers traveling from Canada to the U.S. or vice versa into the Niagara River.  “After an extensive and complex criminal investigation,” Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) representatives said during a Monday press conference, police arrested and charged two individuals with terrorism related offenses.  It appears the two are from Iran. 

COMMENTS:

As I said in my post on MY AMERICAN OPINION, we Americans should not be sitting on our hands.  The time for political correctness is gone; we have our lives and the lives of our children and parents to protect.  We still don’t hear a peep from so-called “friendly and peace-loving” Muslims.  I’m sorry, but I am rapidly approaching the point where I’m going to start advocating for deportation of all non-U.S. Citizen Muslims and requiring those who are citizens to start taking an oath of allegiance to our country.  This is no longer a matter of discrimination; it’s a matter of self-preservation.  If we’re going to sleep with snakes, we’re going to get bitten.

A. It’s a sham, a farce.  We all know, because the White House was caught doing it, that the Sequester did not cut any dollars being spent, it simply trimmed the amount of increase in the budget.  Therefore, everyone on the payroll and every function of the government should be able to function without any staff cuts or cuts in service.  It’s simply an “in your face” payback from Obama. 

Q. The authorities decided to try Dzhokhar Tsarnaev under U.S. Criminal Law as opposed to being held as an enemy combatant.  Republicans are raising hell over the move.  Who is right?  (Dakota ~ Salt Lake City, UT)

A. As I said shortly after the arrest, he is a U.S. citizen and the action occurred on U.S. soil.  He is legally entitled to trial in a U.S. Criminal Court.  The argument that he needs to be held and questioned about other people who might be involved, where he got his training, etc. sounds nice, but if our FBI and CIA guys can’t find that information out for themselves, they should be fired.   

Q. What’s your opinion of the Tsarnaev parents and family?  (Chic ~ Sausalito, CA)

A. They come off as being totally innocent, even saying the two bombers were framed.  My question is this: Why did they not pick up the phone and call the authorities when the pictures and video of the two were released by the FBI?  To me, they are at least complicit in these events and I’m thinking that the whole family may have been a terrorist cell of its own.

U.S. TYCOON CREATES $300 MILLION CHINESE SCHOLARSHIP

Stephen A. Schwarzman, founder of the private equity firm Blackstone, is establishing what he hopes will be a competitor to the famed Rhodes Scholarship by setting up a $300 million scholarship fund at Beijing's Tsinghua University. It will be the largest philanthropic gift with foreign money in China's history and should attract students from around the world.

You’re wondering why the scholarship is not being established in the U.S.?  Let’s face it; our education system is not producing any great scholars lately.  Additionally, any country dumb enough to reelect the likes of Barack Obama has proven its stupidity prima facie.  Finally, the left wing would probably demand that illegal immigrants be included. Oh, and if they graduate in the U.S., where are they going to find a job?

A. Two staunch conservatives, Charles and David Koch of Koch Industries, are considering the purchase of the Tribune Newspaper Company, parent company of the Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Baltimore Sun, the Orlando Sentinel and other publications.  It sure would be nice to have some really straight news out there.

8TH GRADER ARRESTED, SUSPESPENDED FOR WEARING NRA T-SHIRT

A student of Logan Middle School near Charleston, West Virginia has been arrested, suspended and now faces charges for wearing an NRA T-shirt with the printed image of a firearm and the words “Protect Your Right” to school.  Police have confirmed that the student was arrested and faces charges of obstruction and disturbing the education process after getting into an argument over the shirt. 

COMMENTS:

The shirt is not inflammatory, racial or sexist.  The school and the cops are, thus far, refusing to discuss their rationale.  This is censorship to the nth degree and a direct violation of First Amendment Rights in an effort to stifle Second Amendment Rights.  The staff responsible should be terminated and the school itself should be sued; the only problem I have with that is when the student wins, the taxpayers will end up being on the hook for totally wrong behavior on the part of school and law enforcement employees.

A. Well, they certainly had a lot of weapons capable of shooting a lot of rounds and they had access to explosives or the making of explosives.  I think they would have had that access regardless of gun laws, because if the gun laws are strict enough you create black markets.  On the other hand, how would you like to have been sitting there in the Boston suburbs those last few hours, huddled with your family and knowing one of the bad guys could be in your neighborhood and you don’t have a gun in the house? 

Q. It appears that at least one of the two Boston suspects was trained and radicalized, probably in Chechnya or even Iran.  That sets up the prospect that there are more people like them waiting to strike terror in the United States.  How to we prevent that?  (Hank ~ Bremerton, WA)

A. That’s a lot easier suggested than done.  I do believe that we need a huge lug wrench to tighten up the borders.  We let people into the country on passports or visas, they stay and we don’t chase them down and deport them.  We don’t perform background checks on people wanting to immigrate into the country.  We don’t pay enough attention to where people go when they are out of our country and what they do while they are there.  Here in America, we walk the streets oblivious of the stark reality that there are terrorist cells already in all parts of the country; we should all be alert to signs of trouble. 

Q. The news about North Korea got lost last week in the stories of Boston, the poison letters and the Texas fertilizer plant.  Their midget dictator must be beside himself.  What’s going on?  (Sandra ~ Danville, CA)

A. North Korea is demanding the removal of all sanctions and the end to South Korea’s military drills before it will even consider talks with the U.S.  Secretary of State Kerry’s visit with China over the North Korean issue has produced results; China is strengthening its ties with the rogue nation.

BOY SCOUTS MOVE TO LIFT GAY BAN

The Boy Scouts of America in considering lifting a total ban on gay membership over the last few months, has now moved to allow gay members but not gay adult leaders.  The ultimate decision will be made in May in a nationwide vote.  If the resolution is approved in the nationwide vote, "no youth may be denied membership in the Boy Scouts of America on the basis of sexual orientation or preference alone." 

COMMENTS:

The fact that adult gay leaders will still not be allowed is mere semantics; you are either a gay organization or you are not.  It would only be a matter of time, a year or two, before the move would be made to allow gay adult leaders; how can you deny a gay scout, having earned badges and recognition, a right to participate as a leader when he becomes an adult?  That suggestion is absurd.  The main impetus for allowing gays into the organization is financial; many businesses and other donors have said they will refuse to donate to or support the organization in the future unless gays are allowed.  This concerted effort by the radical left to destroy another American institution frankly pisses me off, and that is exactly what this whole controversy is about.  If the Boy Scout organization caves in to this tactic in any way, I will pack up my awards and unceremoniously return them to Boy Scout headquarters and I will be severely disillusioned.  Furthermore, I will not vote for any of the current Board of Directors for another term and I will relinquish my membership.  That says a whole lot, as my ancestors actively participated in the founding of the organization.

A. It has not ended.  We have to determine where these guys got their indoctrination and what the implications are for future national security.  But, let me add a warning: just because your neighbor looks nice doesn’t mean he is. 

Q. I can’t believe my ears.  I hear a foreign government asked our F.B.I. to look into the activities of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the Boston bombers, and the F.B.I. determined that he was no threat?  (Margo ~ Great Falls, MT)

A. That’s correct.  Tamerlan dropped out after studying accounting at Bunker Hill Community College for just three semesters. He was an amateur boxer who had hoped to fight on the U.S. Olympic team.  “I don’t have a single American friend. I don’t understand them,” he was quoted as saying in a Boston University student magazine in 2010.  Just because the F.B.I. has an excellent reputation for getting things right doesn’t mean they don’t make mistakes; we’re all human, you know.    

Q. Given a situation like the Boston Marathon bombers, if they were captured alive, should they be held as enemy combatants and tried in a military court or tried in a U.S. criminal court?  (Bonzo ~ El Cajon, CA)

A. It depends on citizenship. Being U.S. citizens, they should be tried in the criminal justice system.  Otherwise, they should be shipped off to Guantanamo and tried in the military system.  That’s my opinion based on current International Law and war tribunal decisions.  I believe Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is a U.S. citizen.
