EPA GOES AFTER YOUR BARBEQUE

The Environmental Protection Agency is studying emissions from backyard barbeques, suggesting that they be fitted with catalytic converters among other things.  They are studying the human effects of breathing fumes from gas and charcoal grills and the resulting air pollution.  They are also discussing an emission removal scheme which includes the use of a secondary air filtration system composed of a single pipe duct system containing a specialized metal filter, a metal fan blade, a drive shaft, and an accompanying power system with either a motorized or manual method.  

COMMENTS:

E.P.A. agents might employ drones to fly over backyards and measure emissions, sending electronic notices via satellite to armed task forces which would descend upon your house in tanks and wearing flak jackets.  Maybe we should sick them on Iraq and have them shut down artillery fire on the battlefields; that would be one quick way to defeat I.S.I.S.  When is all of this Orwellian government horseshit going to end?  Haven't we had enough yet?

A. It’s now or never for Hillary, and she’s been working hard at positioning herself for this run ever since Bill left office.  On the other hand, if she runs and loses by any substantial margin, that would be total embarrassment for the Clinton machine.  I look for her to announce her candidacy very soon and to back out for “health reasons” if she’s not gaining sufficient traction.  As for alternatives, look to John Kerry and his cornucopia of Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars to try it again, especially if Hillary does falter. 

Q. Holder vowed that he would dismantle the Ferguson Police Department if necessary.  How can he do that to a non-federal agency?  (Pauline ~ Lynnwood, WA)

A. Technically, he can’t.  But, he could deny federal funds to the City, State and the police department or he could sue them for civil rights violations.  He could also make it illegal to buy a cop a cup of coffee. 

Q. Did I hear that Native Americans are asking the city of Buffalo, New York, to change its “racist, insensitive name?”  (Melinda ~ Bellingham, WA)

A. Yes.  And, as I understand it, city fathers are considering the name of “Upyours.”

NOBEL PRIZE COMMITTEE WANTS OBAMA’S PEACE PRIZE BACK, FIRES CHAIRMAN

The Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee, who had been on the job less than a year when they conferred the Nobel Peace Prize on Barack Obama, has been demoted.  He was widely condemned in 2009 when his committee bestowed the prestigious award on then-newly sworn-in President Barack Obama.

OBAMA MAY ISSUE E.O. TO RAISE TAXES

Press Secretary Josh Earnest has confirmed that President Obama is "very interested" in the idea of raising taxes through unilateral executive action.  "Now I don't want to leave you with the impression that there is some imminent announcement, there is not, at least that I know of," Earnest said. "But the president has asked his team to examine the array of executive authorities that are available to him to try to make progress on his goals. So I am not in a position to talk in any detail at this point, but the president is very interested in this avenue generally."

A. He and John McCain are two of the reasons that the Republican Party is dysfunctional.  The “good old boys” who raise hell when they don’t get their way need to be put out to pasture, because they’re producing too much sour milk. 

Q. There is a move on by some states to allow concealed carry of firearms without regulation or permits.  What’s your reaction?  (Leonora ~ Flagstaff, AZ)

A. I am an avid gun rights supporter.  Nevertheless, those of us who legally carry concealed weapons have passed a background check and, in most cases, taken training in the basics of how to properly carry and use such weapons.  I want some assurance that some idiot is not going to go waving his concealed weapon around in a crowded theater while yelling “fire!”  Pardon the play on words, but I think that such a rule will backfire. 

Q. Any thoughts on the failure of the Republicans to stop illegal amnesty? (Betty ~ Durango, CO)

A. Given the status of national security, it was a very stupid idea for the Republicans to tie approval of the DHS budget to the reversal of amnesty.  They would have been much better advised to tie the reversal of illegal amnesty to funding of the White House budget.  The GOP leadership, i.e. Boehner and company, should be ashamed of itself for even thinking about it, let alone trying it.

PELOSI’S TEAR-JERKING MOMENT

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Tuesday she was close to tears during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress, and implied that Netanyahu vastly underestimated the ability of the Obama administration to negotiate an agreement that keeps nuclear weapons away from Iran.  THE BLAZE reports: “I was near tears throughout the Prime Minister’s speech – saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5+1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation,” she said.

COMMENTS:

The plain fact of the matter is that there are few people left in this country who trust Obama and his regime; if he said the sun is going to come up in the east tomorrow, I think we’d all have to question it.

A. The NRA has over 5 million members and is growing.  I do not think the I.R.S. or the government wants to tackle any retaliation on that large a group.  The group is a formidable force in state governments as well as the federal government and is feared by the Obama administration.  That’s all the more reason to join.  The more Americans who are willing to stand up and be counted in this all-American battle, the better off we are. 

Q. I understand that a deadly disease has escaped from a Louisiana laboratory. Why are we not hearing about it in the news?  (Victoria ~ Jamestown, PA)

A. The bacteria escaped sometime in November, (probably on Election Day).  Officials say that it is very deadly, but not contagious; you have to come in direct contact with it.  Nevertheless, they’re not saying what the symptoms or the results are.  If you die from some unexplained disease, please notify someone. 

Q. What’s the word on that mysterious underground tunnel that they found in Canada? (Jim ~ Vancouver, WA)

A. A couple of 20-year-olds apparently decided they wanted a private and cool place to hang out.  Can you dig that?

A. You can keep your doctor and your plan.  Benghazi never happened and Fast & Furious does not exist.  There is not even a smidgeon of corruption in the I.R.S.  And North Korea, a close ally of Iran, may have as many as 100 of them by 2020… five years from now.  Now really, what do you think of THIS promise?  You can't change the spots on a prevaricator.

A. Although there are a few things I do not believe in, I substantially support the platitudes of the Libertarian Party because it is more aligned with my principles than other parties.  And so it is that I support Rand Paul in many of his objectives and positions.  We cannot continue to allow the encroachment of big government on our constitutionally-guaranteed individual and states’ rights.  Unfortunately, Rand Paul does not stand a chance of becoming president; the liberal-left, big-government, all-controlling elitists will start another American Revolution first.

REPUBLICANS STUMBLE AGAIN

The plan to force Obama to backtrack on his amnesty plan by tying its funding to the DHS funding is now in total disarray; Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has surrendered and House Speaker John Boehner is faltering. 

COMMENTS:

I’m disgusted with what we have allowed our government to become.  Even with an overwhelming mandate from the 2014 elections, the Republicans refuse to take the torch of freedom and liberty, and to stand up for what is right in America.

If you had been following my blogs, you would have discovered that I revealed this problem several times starting several years ago.  It amazes me how the issue comes up now and everyone is acting as if it was new news.  We literally cannot believe that Obama or any of his cronies are protecting us; in fact, I have to wonder whether or not this total lack of security is intentional.

A. No.  Did he have someone else do it?  Yes.  But, I really think the time has come for us to quit paying so much attention to what is going on with Putin and Russia, and and to start paying attention to what is going on with Obama and America.

A. He’s trying to change the demographics of the American voter.  He wants the American patriots, the Conservative voters, to be so vastly outnumbered that they will never have a voice in our government again.
