NEW YORK GUN SHOP UNDER ATTACK

PATRIOT UPDATE is reporting “The owner of a New York gun shop says he was given 24 hours to comply with a “request” from the New York State Police to turn over records of all customers who have purchased “bullet button” AR-15 rifles since the passage of the hastily-passed SAFE Act in 2013.

“Joseph F. Palumbo, owner of the Albion Gun Shop in Albion, New York, told The Blaze on Wednesday he had no choice but to turn over roughly 165 customer records last week. Now, both he and his customers are concerned that “door-to-door confiscation” or “warrantless searches” could come next.”

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I’m upset.  I’m 73 years old and recently went to Rite Aid to buy some beer and they insisted I show identification to prove I am over 21.  Today, I had to go back to get some night time cold and flu medicine and not only did they make me show my driver’s license, they also made me swipe the magnetic strip into their computers.  The clerk adamantly told me it was “state law.”  I looked it up and discovered it is NOT state law; state law says if you LOOK to be under 25, you have to SHOW identification.  I don’t have to do these things at any other store I go to.  Isn’t there any way they can be forced to their senses?  (Mattie ~ Burney, CA)
A. Yes: quit shopping there.  If enough people do, they will either close their doors or change their policy.  They obviously are of the philosophy that is you want to do business with them, you will have to do it by their rules… or else.  You’d think they were secret agents for the White House, or something.  Who needs the aggravation?

Q. What do you think Obama means when he says we are going on the offensive against I.S.I.S.?  (Gabby ~ Silver Springs, NV)
A. He’s going to use a 3-wood instead of a 4-iron.  Who knows?  Maybe he intends to bring their leaders over and sit them down in the Rose Garden for a strong lecture.  Maybe he’s going to cut off their camel food.  I doubt very much that he’s going to do what is required of the situation, and that is to seriously kick ass.

Q. When Congress returns [today] they have to take up the budget again.  What do you predict is going to happen?  (Stephanie ~ Needles, CA)
A. I expect a 90-day “Continuing Resolution,” which means the current budget will be extended for 90 days and they won’t have to get serious about a budget until after the mid-term elections.  They’re all shaking in their boots right now because they know the public is totally pissed off at Congress and they might lose their jobs.  This is when they all get more "squirrely" than usual.

I.S.I.S. SECURITY BRIEFING: NO REPUBLICANS ALLOWED

A briefing of Congressional delegates was to be conducted yesterday by officials from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Counter-terrorism Center, but several key Republicans said they knew nothing about it and had not been invited.  The officials were expected to brief members of the congressional leaders' staffs, as well as the House Intelligence Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, Armed Services Committee, and the defense and foreign operations appropriations subcommittees, according to NEWSMAX.

COMMENTS:
Now, what’s this all about?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I thought Obama’s stance [yesterday] regarding terrorism was a whole lot tougher than it has even been before.  Do you agree, and why the change now?  (Lucas ~ Palo Alto, CA)
A. I have consistently said in the past, “Pay no attention to what he says and pay attention to what he does.”  I for one turn off the tube whenever he speaks, because I don’t want to waste my time listening to outright lies and spins from crooked politicians.  The only reason he sounds that way is because the press, the Democrats and the Americans are getting damned worried about terrorism and his lackluster response.  That’s why when he putts, he always comes up short because he’s afraid if he putts the whole distance, he might miss.

Q. I understand that a lawyer who worked for Lois Lerner in the I.R.S. has “disappeared?”  (Gigi ~ Menlo Park, CA)
A. After leaving the I.R.S., he went to work in the office of the White House Counsel, then was transferred to the Justice Department.  We understand that he no longer works there and the Justice Department is flatly refusing to say where he is.  Congressional officials believe he has important knowledge about the details of Lerner’s anti-conservative targeting operations.  Wherever he is, he’s likely to be among State Department witnesses regarding the Benghazi massacre.

Q. What is the story about a “secret project” Lerner was working on for the White House?  (Henley ~ Spokane, WA)
A. The I.R.S. obtained donor lists from various Tea Party and other conservative groups.  The illegally obtained lists of people who opposed Obama and his reelection were then allegedly forwarded on to the White House.  There is no truth to the rumor that the White House intended to invite people on the list to have a beer with Barry and Joe in the White House Rose Garden.

KERRY SPEAKS OUT ABOUT I.S.I.S. CRISIS

“We’re big Bible readers at the State Department and it tells us to protect Muslims from global warming.”

COMMENTS:
I don’t know about you, but I’m heading for the bar.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Don’t you think these fast food workers are asking for a little too much at $15 an hour?  (Devon ~ Oakland, CA)
A. If I owned a franchise and my employees walked off the job in support of these wages, I’d fire every damned one of them because I know there are plenty of unemployed people who would be glad to have those jobs, even at current wages.  Now, if they’d go walk off their jobs in support of removing Obama from office, I might reconsider.

Q. There sure a lot of mixed signals coming out of the Administration.  Why can’t they get on the same page?  (Hap ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. The State Department still refuses to call I.S.I.S. a terrorist organization.  They won’t call Russia’s invasion into Ukraine an “invasion,” opting instead to say they have no evidence of an invasion.  Obama says it’s an invasion, then a border incursion; Biden says we’re going to pursue terrorists to the gates of hell and Obama says we are going to shrink them and “manage” them.  Obama has no strategy, all right, and no idea how to sit everyone down, take control of the situation, get everyone on the same page and start issuing orders.  I also understand he can’t putt worth a damn.  Maybe it all has to do with being responsible for your own actions, a challenge he simply can’t face.

Q. Of all of the dangers facing American today, which do you consider to be the biggest danger of all to our National security?  (Irving ~ Granbury, TX)
A. Barack Hussein Obama.

REMEMBER BENGHAZI?

Two years ago on September 11th, the Benghazi Massacre took place.  To this day, we still have no answers.

COMMENTS:
The matter seems to have been dropped in Congress.  Consider this: The same D.O.J. that took 30 days to land at the Benghazi compound and start their “investigation” took two days to start investigating the hacking and release of nude celebrity photos.  We Americans still deserve answers and we should be kicking Congress in the ass for not getting them.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you agree that the President is wise to be deliberate and take his time in responding to the various critical problems facing the world?  (Jen ~ Carpinteria, CA)
A. I am definitely not an advocate of “knee-jerk reactions,” but let me ask you a question: If there were a serial killer in your town and your police chief was being “deliberate and taking his time,” acting as if it were no big deal, what would you do with him?  If that serial killer got TV time and taunted the town, saying “You’re next,” and your police chief said he wasn’t going to be bullied into doing anything, what would be your response?  Maybe Obama should go walk his dog, play a round of golf and “deliberate” some more?

I do remember when I was a kid in a small town in Arizona, the police chief used to sit on his porch with a rifle across his lap after work.  Nobody in town messed with him and we had no crime.  That’s the way the United States used to be; Uncle Sam was big and powerful and he sat on the national porch with his gun across his lap.  Nobody messed with us.  These days, Uncle Sam doesn’t sit on the porch anymore; he’s been replaced by a mental basket-case with a broken peashooter in his lap.  And yes, other countries are messing with us.

Q. What do you think about that statutory rape victim who is being asked to pay child support?  (Cleotis ~ Richmond, CA)
A. It’s a tad different than the headlines would have you believe.  It was a 14 year-old boy who had sex with a 20 year-old woman when he was in high school in Arizona. State law says no one there can have “consensual” sex if they are under 15, which he was, so he is technically a statutory rape victim.  When he was 20, he got served with notice that he had to pay back child support totaling $15,000.  Now, I have to agree that at the age of 14, he probably had no idea of what the financial ramifications might be if she got pregnant.  And, she did take advantage of him because she did know what those ramifications might be.  So, who should pay?  If she can’t, who is going to support the kid?  You and me?  Perhaps, if either one of them had had any religion in their life, it wouldn’t have happened, so let’s blame Jesus.

FEDERAL DEBT HAS DOUBLED IN SEVEN YEARS

The Congressional Budget Office, (CBO), reports that the nation’s debt has doubled since 2007.  That number represents 74 percent of the annual GDP – up twofold from 2007 – and it’s on track to hit 77 percent of GDP by 2024.

COMMENTS:
At the rate things are going, we’ll all have been beheaded by 2020, so what difference does the national debt figure make?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How do you feel about Mike Dickinson, a Virginia Democrat who says he hopes all NRA members die of Ebola?  (LeRoy ~ San Francisco, CA)
A. Statements like that must make you feel so, so proud that you are a Democrat, as is everyone else in San Francisco.  And that, my friends, is the level of intelligence we are faced with in the struggle to save our country.

Q. How diligent is the government regarding illegal immigration to America by non-Mexicans?  (Rosa ~ Tremonton, UT)
A. Taking just one sector, those here on student visas, 6,000 have disappeared from the radar and we have not been able to catch up with them.  This is the exact same type of complacency we had just before 9/11.  We have a Mickey Mouse attitude in the middle of a world full of despicable terrorists.

Q. How can Obama continue to ignore the I.S.I.S. threat?  (Pierre ~ Des Moines, IA)
A. His main focus lately seems to be convincing the Pentagon to get on board and allow transgender personnel into military service.  His priorities are his priorities.

THE I.S.I.S. OIL MONEY

Since I.S.I.S. has commandeered much of Iraq it is now fattening its financial capabilities with Iraqi oil money.

COMMENTS:
Now, I might not be the smartest blockhead on the streets, but why is the rest of the world, which is petrified over the advent of I.S.I.S., buying oil from them?  There’s obviously something we’re not being told. Are they building a golf course for Obama?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is the flap about Mary Landrieu from Louisiana?  (Bo ~ Corpus Christi, TX)
A. She’s a U.S. Senator running for reelection and says she and her husband live in a $2.5 million house in Washington, D.C.  She owns no house in Louisiana and lists her mother’s house on her voter’s registration.  According to Louisiana law, she has to be a resident of Louisiana to be their Senator.  Her Republican opponent has filed a complaint about it.  Now, by her actions, you can tell she’s a Democrat, right?  They just don’t seem to know that laws apply to everybody, even them.

Q. What do you think Obama is going to do about the Ukraine invasion? (Lyle ~ Durango, CO)
A. Nothing.  He’s already said he’s not going to do anything and, for once I believe he is telling the truth.  Someone must have put Ex-Lax in his morning tea.

Q. What is your reaction to the I.S.I.S. takeover of the U.S. Compound in Libya?  (Grant ~ Dulce, NM)
A. It’s not I.S.I.S. per se, but a very radical Islamic group known as “Dawn of Libya.”  One has to question why we put U.S. forces at risk by going into Libya against Congressional wishes in order to oust Gaddafi.  Obviously, Libyans didn’t appreciate our efforts.  In the meanwhile, we still have no answers about Benghazi, and that is an outrage. This could be the last tango in Libya.
