OBAMACARE: MILLIONS WILL LOSE INSURANCE

The word is easy enough to say, but it is going to price millions of people out of insurance altogether.  The fact is that the government has never… NEVER come close to predicting the real cost of anything… ANYTHING it has done.  Look at the Post Office.  Look at Amtrak.  But, that’s just the money the government is going to spend: NEWSMAX is forecasting a 32% increase in medical claims payouts; $434 to expand Medicaid; $465 for insurance exchanges; $210 billion in hospital insurance taxes; $65 billion in penalties paid by those with no coverage; $757 million to label restaurant menus.  There will be new fees on pharmaceutical and health insurance providers that will be passed on to the consumer.  Any so-called “Cadillac” insurance will be taxed at 40%.  55,000 new full-time employees will be hired to handle the paperwork, and the costs of paperwork have already increased to $31 billion.  All of these expenses will ultimately end up in your lap.

COMMENTS:
If you take the average retiree who is on Medicare with some form of supplemental insurance, his costs have already gone up by 25% to 50% and are going to rise another 25% to 50% next year.  Not only are more doctors and clinics starting to refuse Medicare and Medicaid patients, fewer and fewer are entering into medical colleges; anyone can see the end result is going to be skyrocketing costs of service, where you can find it.  We also must recognize that revenues are going to be lower than forecast; that, in turn, means higher premiums.  The unfortunate bottom line is that millions of people now insured are not going to be able to afford continuing coverage.  In one way or another, they will either end up on the public dole or be denied medical care.  How can our members of Congress even think about sleeping at night, considering what they have done to us?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why don’t you have anything good to say about the improvements in the economy?  (Damaso ~ Cottonwood, AZ)
A. Because there ARE no improvements.  Stock market is up, so is inflation.  Unemployment is down, but the number of people unemployed and who have given up is soaring.  What hiring is occurring is going on in the government sector, not the private.  Certainly, not everything is as rosy as they would have you believe.  And the real costs of ObamaCare are not going to kick in until the latter half of the year.

Q. There’s talk about banning certain fertilizers because they can be used to make bombs.  What will that mean for the food chain?  (Van ~ Riverbank, CA)
A. Much higher prices.  Farmers will have to spend more money on less effective fertilizers.  They might even have to invite some liberals over to fertilize their fields.

Q. Anything more on the move by big labor to get rid of secret balloting in union elections?  (Heidi ~ Mount Vernon, WA)
A. Unions continue to hammer at demands for open balloting so they can intimidate workers into voting along straight union lines.  The unions are facing declining membership, which in turn means declining revenues.  But the high costs of union labor during a declining economy are too big a burden to overcome and this is leading to “union busting.”  Something has to give, and the average guy like you and me just simply doesn’t have any more to give.

U.S. HIRED AL QAEDA TO DEFEND BENGHAZI!

NEWSMAX is reporting: “The Libyan militia group that the State Department hired to defend its embattled diplomatic mission in Benghazi had clear al-Qaida sympathies, and had prominently displayed the al-Qaida flag on a Facebook page some months before the deadly attack. That organization, the February 17th Martyrs Brigade, was paid by the U.S. government to provide security at the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.”

COMMENTS:

Now we’re on to something!  This surely would explain the cover-up and lies wouldn’t it?  I can’t wait for next week.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. I could not believe yesterday that they have decided to verify the student visas for those coming into the country for college courses.  Shouldn’t this have been going on all along?  (Vance ~ Rio Rancho, NM)
A. That’s such a simple conclusion, isn’t it?  Does that make you nervous about the status of our national security?  It should.  It appears to me that we have just allowed anybody in the world to walk into our country and so whatever they want.  Take Obama, for instance.  I’m not being facetious here, nor am I being a “birther.”  But, wouldn’t you think we would verify the qualifications of our President to be our President?  The fact that we haven’t speaks to this whole issue.  Another thing they’re not talking about is, you are aware that the Russians tried to tip us off about Temerlan.  Well… so did the Saudi’s, in 2011.  The warning was based on human intelligence developed in Yemen and was separate from the information Russian law enforcement officials gave to their American counterparts in 2011.

Q. Mayor Bloomberg is going after gun owners, telling people that if they support the NRA, they are “going against the lives of our children.”  And the Obama Administration is pulling out all of the stops trying to force the Senate into reversing its vote against gun control.  Do you have an opinion?  (Leah ~ Yreka, CA)
A. Bloomberg wants these children to be holed up in schools and playgrounds without anyone around except the bad guys owning guns?  All of these gun control freaks are ignoring the facts and sound reasoning and continuing to lie to the American people as if they were being truthful.  Answer me this one question: If there are 200 million guns in the hands of Americans, why don’t we have at least 1 million gun related deaths per year?  Owning a gun does not automatically make the owner a killer.

Q. They’ve been having human trafficking going on in the Washington D.C. Saudi Embassy?  (Evelyn ~ Paradise, CA)
A. Allegedly, that’s true.  They discovered two Filipino women at an attaché’s house there.  So far, there have been no charges filed and the Saudi diplomats are refusing to talk under diplomatic immunity.

EGYPT & MORSI IN BIG TROUBLE

LIGNET is reporting two major and ominous developments in Egypt: (1) Due to the failure of Morsi to agree to cuts in food and fuel subsidies, the International Monetary fund is delaying funding a nearly $5 billion loan and the country’s economy is failing.  (2) Morsi is trying to expand his power by getting rid of democratic institutions and changing out judges for those more obedient to his regime’s needs.  These events could lead to more massive protests, such as the ones which unseated Mubarak, and the whole country could again fall into uncontrollable chaos, thereby further destabilizing the Middle East.

COMMENTS:
So much for Obama’s glee at what happened in the Middle East a couple of springs ago.  For decades, the whole world has been engaged in preventing another all-out war in the region; prospects for continued peace seem to be dimming rapidly.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How come you’re not talking about the Boston Marathon bombings more?  (Duane – Orem, UT)
A. I try to keep subjects of my stories away from the ones the main stream media are covering; I try to cover the things that are not necessarily news of the day, but are still important to talk about.  I've been pounding on the Benghazi Massacre story ever since the day it happened, while the media tried to forget about it.

Q. I heard that Dish Network is having a hissy over something the Chinese did?  (Trina ~ Springfield, OR)
A. There’s a pending merger involving Sprint and Softbank.  Softbank and its associate UTSI allegedly arranged for $7 million in loans and donations to Chinese officials in return for lucrative telecommunications contracts.  Dish has filed a lawsuit trying to scuttle the merger.  Now, who’s going to clean the Dish?

Q. I know Congress just got its proverbial tit in a wringer by trying to exempt itself from ObamaCare, nut what about the White House?  Will the President and staffers have to go on it? (Tessie ~ Corning, CA)
A. No.  Obama exempted himself and Joe Biden from ObamaCare.  Now, a Congressman has introduced legislation to require the White House, Congress and Supreme Court to participate by enrolling in ObamaCare health exchanges.  It remains to be seen whether or not the law will be passed by Congress and signed into law by our illustrious President.  Bets anyone?

ENDLESS SAGA: TSA FLUBS IT AGAIN!

In January, the illustrious TSA decided to scrap the full-body scanners it has been installing at airports because they showed “too much body.”  Instead of going back to previous scanners while they re-tooled, they decided to glom on to new scanners that were being installed in smaller airports because they didn’t show as much “body.”  The smaller airports had been modifying their facilities to accommodate the newer scanners.

COMMENTS:
Why didn’t TSA simply order the new scanners for all airports?  They weren’t planning on a switch until June anyway.  The smaller airports now have to rely on much older metal detecting scanners.  The problem arises when you consider that, once you are past the scanner you can go anywhere in the air system without being scanned again.  Theoretically then, you could get past a scanner at an airport in Redding, California with some weapon and eventually end up on a 747 going from LAX to Dallas without being scanned again.  Why open a security hole anywhere in the system?  These guys are far worse than the Keystone Cops.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I know you have said you’ll never watch Bill O’Reilly again because he is condescending and belittles people on his show.  The other night, he went after Fox contributor Alan Colmes and summarily and rudely told him to “shut up.”  Colmes was responding to O’Reilly’s outrage at the fact the Tsarnaev family had been on welfare and getting food stamps.  Colmes tried to say O’Reilly was just using the issue as a way to denigrate food stamp recipients.  Do you have an opinion on this treatment of Colmes?  (Ornin ~ Garberville, CA)
A. O’Reilly is too big for his britches.  He’s a boor to the nth degree.  If he had been working for any other network, he’d be off the air.  Back in March, he went after Colmes and flat-out called him a liar, for which he had to apologize.  I’m no fan of Alan Colmes, but this treatment is uncouth and not acceptable on a major national television broadcast.  And, in this instance, I happen to agree with Colmes: so the Tsarnaev family was on food stamps; so what?  Maybe if they weren’t on food stamps, the bombings would not have occurred?  Food stamp recipients are terrorists?  One has nothing to do with the other.  I think O’Reilly is frustrated because he gave Obama every benefit of the doubt when others were not, and now he realizes he was very wrong.

Q. RAND Paul says more security cameras and such are leading the country to 1984.  What in the world does he mean about that?  (Tracie ~ Mountain Home, ID)
A. 1984 was a book and subsequent movie by George Orwell, about a world of perpetual war, electronic surveillance and mind control under the control of a government run amok.  You should read it or rent the movie, because many of its predictions are coming to be true today.

Q. Do you think upcoming testimony next week about the Benghazi Massacre has any chance of pushing things along and getting to the bottom of it?  (Trix ~ Quincy, CA)
A. Yes, at the moment.  I halfway expect the Obama Administration to file some legal maneuver to stop the testimony, maybe by exerting Executive Privilege again.  This could set up another Constitutional crisis, but they exercised Executive Privilege over Fast & Furious and seemingly got away with it.  They definitely do not want us to get to the truth.

OBAMA’S PUTRID LIES ABOUT BENGHAZI

Although it has been reported in the media and newspapers for well over a week, President Obama yesterday told a shocked Press Corps that he was totally unaware of any claims by Benghazi victims that they were being blocked from testifying by the Administration.  He said the press conference question was the first he had heard of it and pledged to investigate.  At the same time, the State Department has defiantly said they are not stopping anyone from testifying.  Congress has been trying for two weeks just to find out how to get some staff attorneys security clearances to review documents associated with Benghazi with absolutely no response from State.

COMMENTS:
Peeee-yeewww, that smelled bad!

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is your opinion of lowering the age to 15 when girls can get the abortion pill without prescription?  (Stephen ~ Bountiful, UT)
A. Why not 14?  Why even have an age?  10 sounds good.  This country is trying to tell me I can’t have a 32 ounce drink because it’s bad for me, but they’ll let a 15-year-old-girl have sex? And they’ll go along with killing living, breathing babies on the operating room table after a bungled abortion?  This country surely belongs in hell.

Q. Do you think President Obama is losing his credibility?  (Maynard ~ Rio Rancho, NM)
A. WHAT credibility?  He never had any!

Q. I just heard the most ludicrous thing, that some former Members of Congress are holding hearings on alien space life?  (Ann ~ Petaluma, CA)
A. It’s true.  Maybe they’re trying to find out where Obama came from.
