MORE ON THE BENGHAZI MASSACRE

The White House is refusing any discussion of the Benghazi Massacre, saying it’s under investigation by the FBI.  The FBI won’t talk because it’s “under investigation.”  All of the major players in the scandal are being moved out… Clinton, Petraeus, Panetta, etc.  The mid-level employees at State who got “fired” are still on the payroll in other positions and State is refusing to discuss the ruse.

COMMENTS:
This sounds more and more like a dictatorship every day.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why isn’t it against the law to publish the names of gun owners in the newspaper? (Pinky ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Because of the 5th Amendment.  How do you stop that stupid bull?  Quit buying their newspapers and quit advertising on their pages.  Then, quit buying anything from any firm or person still advertising with them.  Get started today.

Q. I know that we and Israel have been attacking the computers running Iran’s nuclear program.  Is anyone trying to attack the computers running our nuclear sites? (Paris ~ Torrance, CA)
A. They sure are.  Attacks against our electrical, water, and banking systems grew by over 50% in 2012.  It is widely believed that these attacks predominantly come from Russia, China, Iran and Nigeria.  What is really scary is that with all of these millions of attacks going on, all it takes is one successful one to shut the country down for months.  You may not be able to buy food for a month if it happens, because they can’t order it, you can’t get at your money, and truckers can’t get diesel fuel because the national power grid is down.  We need to be prepared for that possibility… all of us.

Q. What’s the latest on that oil rig that has been floating around the Gulf of Alaska?  (Haley ~ Bend, OR)
A. As I understand it, they were in the process of moving it from offshore Alaska to Seattle for repairs.  But, it had 140,000 gallons of diesel fuel on board and some other hazardous chemicals.  Why risk a disaster?  Pump the fuel out.  The tug lines broke and the rug eventually ended up beached someplace, was subsequently rescued and moved to a nearby harbor.  Now, Congressman Ed Markey from Massachusetts is saying the move was solely for the purpose of evading $6 million in Alaskan state taxes.  Aww, come on!  The cost of the round trip move and lost oil production would certainly be more than $6 million!

OBAMA TO USE EXECUTIVE ORDERS TO CIRCUMVENT CONGRESS ON GUN CONTROL & NATIONAL DEBT

Vice President Biden told his new anti-gun commission yesterday that he and Obama are determined to take immediate action to curb gun violence, including the use of executive orders to keep Congressional noses out of it.  Among the gun-advocacy groups attending the meeting were Arizona for Gun Safety, the Brady Campaign, the Campaign to Keep Guns off Campus and Mayors Against Illegal Guns.  The task force is considering measures like universal background checks for gun buyers, a national gun database, strengthening mental-health checks and tougher penalties for people carrying guns near schools or giving them to minors.

At the same time, the Administration, Pelosi, Reid and others are saying that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution requires that our national debts be paid and, therefore, Congress can have no say over the debt limit.

COMMENTS:
While Obama said, in announcing this new Gun Czar group, that they need to examine all aspects of the gun violence problem, the fact that he set a January 31st deadline precludes any semblance of research into causal relationships between mental health, societal decline, gun violence and gun ownership; such a study would realistically take months, even a year or two, to reach sound conclusions and recommendations.

And, the President is going to tell Congress how much it can spend by setting the national debt limit at whatever he wants.

My fellow Americans, not only is this President usurping our Constitution, has is blatantly assuming the role of dictator.  The day is coming when we are going to have to rise up and do something about it.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Here we are in yet another financial mess with the fight over the debt ceiling.  I hear the government will run out of money in February.  What’s your prediction?  (Clarice ~ Ogden, UT)
A. It’ll be another and typical dog and pony show, just like has been going on for the last four years.  Obama and the Democrats will make outrageous demands, the Republicans will refuse, there will be a lot of hot air blowing around, Reid and Pelosi will call Boehner an American traitor and other names, and at midnight on the day of… the Republicans will cave in and Obama will get what he wants…  Same old script, just a different day, kind of like watching a bunch of old GUNSMOKE episodes.

Q. Now that we’re about four years down the road, what’s your opinion of the bailouts that occurred during the beginning of Obama’s first term?  (Link ~ Redding, CA)
A. They were a disservice to America.  The auto companies got bailed out due to union membership and close ties to Obama.  The banks got themselves into their messes.  AIG should have folded.  As a side note, the unions have always had close ties with organized crime.  Now, Obama has close ties with the unions.  Does that calculate to Obama having close ties to organized crime?  Maybe that’s why they call him “Big Boss Barry” on the streets of Chicago.

Q. Back on January 8th on your “The Zinger” blog, you alluded to the possibility that Obama would run for a third term by repeal of the 22nd Amendment.  Now, it turns out there is actually a bill in the House to do exactly that.  Wow, what a mind reader you are!  Will he get it on?  (Amanda ~ Tukwila, WA)
A. Technically, he has to get Congress and the states on board.  But, he could just nullify the 22nd Amendment by Executive Order.  He can do anything by Executive Order; just ask him.  Right now, the country is blind and following him around like a herd of sheep, over the cliff and through the woods, baa, baa, baa.

UNION VIOLENCE: CHURCH BURNED TO GROUND

A Quaker congregation in Chestnut Hill, PA needed to build a new church, the first one in over 80 years; in order to afford the construction, they turned to a non-union contractor.  Just four days before Christmas, “vandals” with acetylene torches burned down the crane working on the project and destroying what construction had already taken place.  The Quakers had received several antagonistic union visits in the days before the fire, and police have ruled the event to be arson.

COMMENTS:
These are Obama’s friends.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I just got a notice from my insurance company that my medical rates are going up by 16%.  I thought ObamaCare was going to stop this rape of the American purse.  (Garcia ~ Yuma, AZ)
A. If you think what you are getting right now is a rate shaft, wait until next year when the real costs of ObamaCare kick in.  Your costs are going to soar another 25% to 50%.   And remember Obama’s glib promise to you that ObamaCare was going to save us money and cut the outrageous insurance premiums?  One more lesson in life: Don’t believe a word, not one, that Obama says, except “Screw you.”

Q. Yesterday, you said that you don’t have any problem with Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.  As the stories go, he’s more of a pacifist than a strong defense leader, and some are saying it was philosophies like his that made us lose in Viet Nam.  Are you sticking with your opinion?  (Ardith ~ Tulsa, OK)
A. Defense policy is made by the President and the Congress.  Certainly, most Presidents are going to consult with various members of their cabinets.  When you’re at war, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is in the driver’s seat.  We lost in Viet Nam due to the mood in Congress.  I’m not a Chuck Hagel fan, but you have to pick your battles and the battle we should have picked and stuck to was ObamaCare or the budget.  Now, the Republicans are acting like spoiled brats, (and I don’t mean bad bratwurst).

Q. Now that Benghazi has proven Al Qaeda to be alive and thriving, just how bad is that situation?  (Roman ~ Cypress, CA)
A. Their branch in Iraq is rebuilding rapidly; they’ve already reestablished training camps in Western Iraq.  When we got out of Iraq, they were essentially destroyed, but today they have over 2,500 members carrying out 150 attacks across Iraq every week.  They are also active cohorts of Jihadist fighters in the Syrian civil war. Don't look for Obama to do anything about it; as far as he is concerned, he got rid of Al Qaeda when he flew to Pakistan and killed Bin Laden.

REID DERIDES AGAIN!

Senator Reid has said that Katrina was “nothing” compared to Sandy.  “The people of New Orleans and that area, they were hurt, but nothing in comparison to what happened to the people in New York and New Jersey.”

COMMENTS:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has opened his big yap again and insulted a whole lot of people.  Estimates on the Sandy damage range from $20 to $60 billion and killed about 100 people.  Katrina cost $108 billion and resulted in 1,833 deaths.  Those left-wing liberals are all famous for opening their mouths and making total fools out of themselves.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. What’s your opinion of Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense?  (Young – Redondo Beach, CA)
A. I think the Republicans are making a whole bunch of noise about nothing, something like an elephant in a china closet.

Q. There was a gun show ad placed next to a story about the Newtown Massacre a few days ago.  Everyone went after the gun show promoters.  Don’t they realize that it’s the newspaper that determines where in the paper the ads appear?  (Clarence ~ Rock Springs, WY)
A. Even more frustrating is the ruckus over allowing gun shows at all.  The porn industry holds conventions and shows across the country.  Gun shows are a great place for a potential gun buyer to go and check out different models and makers; most gun shops can only afford to carry a limited inventory.  And there is absolutely no evidence to support a contention that gun shows increase gun violence.  This supposition is somewhat akin to kicking a ten-year-old kid out of school because he drew a gun as part of an art project.

Q. Do you think there is any way Obama can ban gun ownership in this country?  (Chief ~ Kansas City, KS)
A. He got ObamaCare passed, didn’t he?  He got his way on the “Fiscal Cliff” didn’t he?  Now I will say this; if he passes sweeping anti-gun legislation, he may be rudely surprised at the reaction of the country. Hell, we'll have to nickname him "Boomer."

THIS IS WHY WE HAVE GUNS

An ex-felon broke into a home in Georgia where a mother and her two twin children had taken to hiding after his repeated banging on the front door and ringing the doorbell.  The intruder, using a crowbar, forced his way into the house and headed immediately for the woman’s home office.  When he pulled open the door to her office closet, he came face-to-face with a fully loaded .38 caliber revolver.  The intruder, who has a record as long as his arm, took six bullets, five of which hit him in the neck.

COMMENTS:
Unfortunately, he survived.  Supposing the woman was your daughter or your wife.  Are you going to tell me you would take away her .38?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. A couple of years ago, there was a major scandal about how they were handling remains at Arlington National Cemetery.  Then it got hushed up.  What happened?  (Ferris ~ Taft, CA)
A. I’m happy to say that things have improved dramatically.  Kathryn Condon as Executive Director and Patrick Hallinan as Superintendent have installed intense systems to keep track of every gravesite and every human remain that arrives there; they’ve got digital pictures of each tombstone and a GPS location of the gravesite.  They’ve ensured that every employee goes through a training procedure.  In short, the difference is like night and day and the cemetery is now again an honor to all of those who have served and especially those who are interned there.  That’s one thing the government did right over the last two years.

Q. Nancy Pelosi says recent tax hikes are not enough and she wants more taxes as part of any future deals with the Republicans.  Are we living in a fascist country now?  (Jimmie ~ Los Alamos, NM)
A. Yes, ever since November 6th when we voted to extend our misery.  Let me be very clear: the left-wing liberals will not quit until they have every last dollar you make to spend on themsleves.

Q. I understand why unions evolved and how much good they did for the working people of this country.  But, it seems to me that they have degraded into mob-controlled thugs who are raping the membership through dues money and destroying our economy.  How can we stop this?  (Bertha ~ La Canada, CA)
A. In fact, more people are moving out of states with strong union laws and into right-to-work states.  We should be able to depend on the NLRB for even-handed administration of the labor laws, but the board has been totally replaced by Obama with former union bosses.  Until you get rid of Obama, it seems to me you are stuck, unless you like getting your head bashed in or your house burned down.
