HOUSE STARTS CONTEMPT PROCEEDINGS AGAINST HOLDER

The House of Representatives is moving forward with proceedings to hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in contempt of Congress.  "The Justice Department is out of excuses," House Speaker John Boehner said Monday. "Congress has given Attorney General Holder more than enough time to fully cooperate with its investigation into Fast and Furious."  The Justice Department insists the documents deal with open criminal investigations and prosecutions that cannot be disclosed.  Rep Darrell Issa wants to know specifically who in the Justice Department knew of the operation’s tactics and when. He has obtained sealed affidavits supporting wiretaps that he says indicate top Justice officials knew the tactics.

COMMENTS:
Maybe, at long last, this whole damned Marxist Obama dynasty is finally starting to unravel.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Jeb Bush has obviously been lobbying for the Vice Presidential slot.  What do you think about that?  (Kendal ~ Des Moines, WA)
A. Yes, with some statement to the effect that, if asked he would gladly accept, he’s making it plain and clear.  If Romney selects him for the slot, he can kiss the Presidency goodbye and the Republican Party can change its name to the Featherhead Party.

Q. I heard that it is true, Jewish voters are turning against Obama?  (LeRoy ~ Mesa, AZ)
A. He’s had a 10% drop in the polls among Jewish voters in the last month.  That’s never happened to a Democratic President before, even with the illustrious Jimmy Carter.

Q. So, Obama says that the only reason he didn’t campaign for Barrett in Wisconsin is that he was too busy with other responsibilities?  (Jenny ~ Van Nuys, CA)
A. That’s what he says.  Most of us Americans sincerely wish that he was busy taking caring of his responsibilities instead of shirking them.  But, he has his own agenda…

WHITE HOUSE “LEAKS” CAUSE FIRESTORM

The allegation that leaks of highly classified secret information have been emanating from the White House for the purpose of elevating Obama’s stature in the eyes of the electorate, boiled over during the weekend.  Obama’s flat and surly denial, coupled with Eric Holder’s decision to appoint his own “special prosecutors” to investigate the leaks, caused an outcry of “foul” by Sunday.  Representative Peter King said that the leaks had to have come from the President’s inner circle. "It's clear from those stories this came right from the White House, came right from the National Security Council, came right from the Situation Room. ... It has to lead to people very high up in the administration in his White House." And calls are growing for an Independent Counsel to conduct the investigation.

COMMENTS:
This is clearly another arrogant attempt by Obama to control and contain the facts.  I agree that an Independent Counsel needs to take over immediately from Holder and his corrupt Justice Department; this man is far worse than the imperious John Mitchell of Nixon years.  All of these blatant violations of ethics and protocol, evasion of the Constitution and outright lies to Congress and the American public should lead directly to impeachment.  It’s outrageous to say the least.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Iran is telling us that the only path to talks is to meet their demands.  At the same time, they are preparing to allow inspectors into one of their sites.  What do you make of all this?  (Irene ~ Logan, UT)
A. The key is in your question; they are allowing us into “one” of their sites.  Surveillance indicates they are sanitizing that site right now.  IAEA may still detect the presence of high-grade refined uranium, but even if not, what about the other sites?  We must meet their demands?  They may slow down until Obama gets reelected, but I doubt it.  They must recognize that Romney could win and their days of thumbing their collective noses at us could be nearing an end.  If they are, as speculated, anywhere near to weapons grade uranium, look for them to put a big rush on their program to obtain a nuke before January’s inauguration.  Will Israel wait?  Don’t count on it.  Yes, my friend, we could well have Armageddon on December 21st and meet the Mayan calendar prediction.

Q. Has Spain defaulted?  (Lindsey ~ Carmel, CA)
A. No.  The European bailout of $125 billion saved the day, but the Spaniards are madder than wet hens.
Q. Why is it, like in Sacramento, when municipalities run out of money and taxpayers balk at more taxes, the first thing to get cut is the public safety sector, like fire protection and law enforcement? (Chad ~ Sacramento, CA)
A. Because the lawmakers know that these cuts will upset you and prod you into allowing tax increases.  They don’t have the guts to make the tough choices.  Be sure to reelect them, won’t you?

OBAMA INCENSED OVER LEAK ALLEGATIONS

Recent accusations that the White House has deliberately leaked classified national security information that is flattering to Obama in this election year got Obama’s back up Friday.  In a surly diatribe, he said, "The notion that my White House would purposely release classified national security information is offensive.  It's wrong."  He then had Eric Holder appoint two special prosecutors to investigate the matter.

COMMENTS:
In listening to him, he sounded overly defiant in his denial.  Having Holder oversee the investigation is like having the fox guard the chicken coop.  Holder is mired in his own defiance of Congress in an obvious cover-up of Fast and Furious which also has implications of White House involvement.  There should be transparent independence assigned to the Special Prosecutor; this position should have been named by a bi-partisan Congressional committee.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Should Eric Holder be held in contempt of Congress for his refusal to cooperate with the investigation into Fast and Furious?  (Jon ~ Tempe, AZ)
A. They’ve been trying for over a year to get internal Justice Department documents and employee testimony regarding the event.  Holder sniped last week that he had given 7,600 documents and indicated that was all Congress was going to get.  The estimate is 140,000 documents and emails have been created; further, a substantial portion of the 7,600 has been redacted.  Holder has something to hide and doesn’t want it to ooze out until after the elections.  Yes, he should be held in contempt and removed.

Q. Since day one, the Internet has been under the control of the United States.  Now, there is a move afoot to transfer control to the United Nations and Obama doesn’t seem to be fighting it.  What do you think?  (Arturo ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. LIGNET reports that last week, officials from Google, the Federal Communications Commission and the State Department testified before Congress to warn of the dangers posed by this effort.  They expressed their fear that an upcoming UN conference in Dubai could be a game-changer with terrible consequences for the independence of the Internet. Can you imagine how the U.N. would handle the security of cyberspace?

Q. I cannot believe that someone would abort a fetus simply because of the unborn’s sex.  How sick can this society get?  (Gwen ~ Redding, CA)
A. There are those ugly liberals in this country who disagree with you.  Rep. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, a candidate for U.S. Senate, has defended sex-selective abortions and criticized Senate Republicans for opposing abortions instigated because the fetus is a girl.  Well, the woman had six abortions before she finally got the boy she wanted?  I suppose if there were twins in the womb, a boy and a girl, she would also kill the girl because she did not want the boy?  What in Hell has this country evolved to?

OBAMA DECLARES ECONOMY "FINE"

Obama commandeered a morning White House Press Conference yesterday to make a few comments about the economy.  During his comments, he blamed Congress for the bad economy and then turned around and alleged that private sector was “doing fine.”  He later backed away from that comment as the day wore on.  Standard and Poor’s promptly responded that its long-term credit rating on the United States remains at AA+ and said its outlook on the nation’s economy remains negative.

COMMENTS:
Obama continues to be a flat-out liar and psychopathic manipulator.  The private sector is doing fine?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I keep hearing the name George Soros.  Who is he and why is he an enemy to you?  (Mollie ~ San Jose, CA)
A. He is a Hungarian multi-billionaire who seeks to use his money for the purpose of power.  He is an avowed radical socialist and supports the Democratic Party.  Using his power and money, he almost brought the British government to its knees.  He is a staunch supporter of Obama and is said to exert his influence in the White House daily.  Most recently, he has given $400 million toward programs to influence college students and to teach them radical liberal policies.

Q. There have been a lot of recent intelligence leaks, and I hear that other countries and organizations sympathetic to U.S. interests are now afraid to help us as a result.  What’s your take?  (Arthur ~ Boise, ID)
A. Not only have there been leaks, but there have also been allegations that the White House has been responsible for those leaks as an effort to improve Obama’s political standing. He did come out yesterday and deny such allegations, but the denial falls on my deaf ears since he has released top secret information to Hollywood so it could make a movie about Osama Bin Laden’s killing that will be favorable to Obama, (to be released this fall before the election).  He does not deny that.  So, why is his other denial more credible?  This is disgusting, unethical and treasonous activity that severely harms the intelligence community.

Q. More than 2,000 ex-NFL players have sued the league due to their head injuries, claiming they were not warned about the dangers.  Will they win?  (Hector ~ Morgan Hill, CA)
A. You don’t just walk into a team’s front office and apply to be a football player.  You play in high school and college and, if you are good enough, the team comes and recruits you.  So, it’s not like you should not have been aware of the dangers before you signed your $1 million contract.  They should lose, but with today’s liberal-dominated Court system, they might win.  Maybe the NFL will be required to print warning labels on the helmet of every player?

ONCE AGAIN, HOLDER STONEWALLS CONGRESS

Eric Holder spent the day testifying in one of the most extensive evasion of direct questions since Bill Clinton’s famous “That depends on what your definition of is, is,” testimony.  Holder said the Justice Department has cooperated fully with congressional investigators and turned over 7,600 pages of material to Congress about the operation.  But Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee fired back with, "Look, I don't want to hear about the 7,600." He went on to say that wiretap applications in Operation Fast and Furious indicate that a number of key individuals at the Justice Department were responsible for the operation.  Holder denied the accusations, but is under the prospect of a contempt citation in the works from the House.

COMMENTS:
What would you call him?  The artful dodger or the lying s.o.b.?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why do you only discuss the crappy things in the world today?  Don’t you ever want to talk about the good things?  (Flo ~ Kansas City, MO)
A. The country and the world are in a horrible mess.  We are under the control of socialists and Marxists who couldn’t lead a flea off a dog’s butt, let alone lead a country out of trouble.  There’s not much good news to go around, but I didn’t hesitate to cheer Scott Walker for his landslide victory in Wisconsin.  That was good news indeed.

Q. I’ve always suspected that the jobs statistics we get are phony.  You’ve also brought that up on more than one occasion.  Doesn’t the Obama Administration realize that we know what they’re doing to us?  (Will ~ Colorado Springs, CO)
A. Yes, and they’re doing something about it.  Starting immediately, the Labor Department will limit the amount of information it releases to the public.  They say it will “eliminate confusion” and streamline the process.  I'm not kidding here.   I keep telling you: This President is only one election away from becoming a true dictator.

Q.  Is the Catholic Church still ticked off at Obama’s belligerent attack on religious freedom? (Boris ~ Newport Beach, CA)
A. U.S. Catholic bishops are readying American Catholics for what may be the largest campaign of civil disobedience since the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960’s.  In addition to 12 lawsuits against the Obama Administration, including 46 plaintiffs from dioceses, hospitals and universities, the bishops will urge Catholics to openly defy the Obama HHS Mandate. I’m not Catholic, but I stand with them; Obama can take his arrogant remarks about Americans clinging on to their guns and Bibles and shove it.  I’m for adamantly and openly pushing back against the oppression.

OBAMA SIGNS ILLEGAL EXECUTIVE ORDER

In a bold, quiet move to put the United States in a global government and to cede U.S. sovereignty to that government, President Barack Hussein Obama has signed Executive Order 13563.  It gives this global organization a huge slice of U.S. economic and environmental sovereignty and is lauded as globally harmonizing regulations on environmental, trade and even legislative processes.

COMMENTS:
This is an outright, blatant precursor toward forcing citizens to give up guns and pushing our freedoms and liberties into the abyss of tyranny.  It is flatly illegal and Obama needs to be impeached!

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. A mom was jailed for sheering at her daughter’s graduation?  (Marcus ~ Corte Madera, CA)
A. Shannon Cooper at a Myrtle Beach High School was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.  The school had asked for no applause or cheering until the ceremony was complete, but she cheered anyway.  She told WPDE NewsChannel 15 that she decided, "I'm going to cheer, because…I've gone through too much to get her to this point. I can't let her know 'I'm so proud of you?'"  Well, no lady, you can’t.  This is the era of big government and big government can do what it wants.  Your freedoms when down the tubes when Barack Obama set an example for the country by ignoring the Constitution and got away with it.  If you don’t like it, Shannon, get out of this Marxist country.

Q. What happens if we can’t force Washington to cut spending and get the budget under control?  (Lacey ~ Portland, OR)
A. When the CBO entered worst-case scenario data into its forecasting model, the model broke.  Under the assumptions leading to the most negative effect on GNP, debt would reach 250 percent of GDP by 2035.  That’s right: In just 13 years this country could be kaput, zappo, gone with the wind.

Q. Is Nancy Pelosi still sticking it to the American taxpayers by flying a big Air Force Jet back and forth from California?  (Helene ~ Truckee, CA)
A. Joe Biden was appointed by Obama to cut government waste, but it is he who has surpassed Pelosi by taking weekend jet trips that cost the taxpayers well over $1 million annually.  And he only travels from D.C. to Delaware!  In addition, the Secret Service rents more than 20 condominiums in the Wilmington, Del. area for agents who must accompany Biden when he returns to his home state.

THANK YOU WISCONSIN!

Scott Walker clobbered Tom Barrett yesterday, as his Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch defeated Mahlon Mitchell in a historic recall election that brought out voters in a record-breaking percentage.

COMMENTS:
This proves that Americans who are sick and tired of government spending and who want the budget balanced can, when standing united, win the day.  Moreover, it proves that labor unions which have the audacity to tell government how to run its business can be taught a lesson.

It was the unions, faced with the decision to cut pensions and benefits in order to help Walker solve the state’s financial crisis, who refused to cave in and enlisted the support of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party to create havoc in the Wisconsin State Capitol.  It was the unions who forced the recall election and which then poured millions of dollars into the Barrett campaign.

Walker may have appeared to be outflanked, but he asked for help and Wisconsinites and Americans across the country opened their wallets.  Now, of course, the Democrats who lost are complaining about outside money coming into the election when, in fact, they started it.

Hooray for Wisconsin!  Now, let us work and stand together to put in place a leadership in the White House and in Congress that is ready to cut Federal spending and work toward balancing the budget.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Did I hear that New York is enacting a law to require dogs and cats to wear seatbelts when inside a motor vehicle?  (Scott ~ Talent, WA)
A. Yes.  Why they’re not adding snakes, alligators, gerbils and other animals people drive around with, I’ll never know.  By the way, the fine for failure to belt those dogs and cats in is $1,000, but if you fail to buckle your kid in, the fine is only $47.  Don’t look at me in that tone of voice!  Idiots like that in government don’t get my vote!

Q. They’re using drones here in the United States?  (Harley ~ Helena, MT)
A.  Being from Montana, you should already know that.  The EPA is concerned that ranchers are not complying with their environmental laws and the government has launched drones to check things out.  Does that bear any similarity to the closed-circuit TV cameras at intersections?  How about the plan to install devices in all U.S. cars that can be GPS tracked and monitored to record wherever you go?  When will you have enough of big government and the loss of your freedoms and privacy to stand up with the rest of us and do something about it?

Q. If Mitt Romney is smart, who will he pick for Vice President to help ensure his win in November?  (Leonora)
A. Given what happened last night, I’d say Scott Walker… hands down.
