DNC Platform Committeewoman Bonnie Schaeffer says the
anti-gun focus has to go beyond “keeping the guns out of the hands of mentally
ill people and criminals.” She added, “I really don’t personally think anyone
should have a gun.”
COMMENTS:
The first person who makes any move toward confiscating my guns
is going to be in for a very rude awakening.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How do you respond to the 9th Circuit Court
ruling that we have no constitutional right to carry concealed weapons? (Franklin ~ Joplin, MO)
A. They are by far the most liberal court in the nation and
nothing they rule surprises me. This
dumb and indefensible ruling will be appealed to the Supreme Court which will
probably hear it in the 2017 or 2018 session, and that makes it extremely
important for the Republicans to win the presidency; otherwise, the nominee to
the Court to replace Scalia will surely be an anti-gunner and you can bank money
on that.
Q. Is Obama making another stab at ending U.S. control of
the Internet? (Consuelo ~ Daly City, CA)
A. Yes. As it is, our
government can exercise little control over content of blogs and websites due
to the provisions of our Constitution. Allowing the United Nations or some other
external entity to have control over the Internet would open the door to
censorship, which they desperately want to achieve.
Q. Do you really think Obama would have the audacity to tell
Loretta Lynch she had better not allow any indictments of Hillary, regardless
of what the FBI recommends? (Hy ~ Lodi,
CA)
A. Here’s a clue: Right after publicly endorsing Clinton
yesterday, Obama met behind closed doors with Loretta Lynch.
