Some disenchanted members of the Republican establishment
are so incensed that party members voted Trump to the top spot on the November
ballot that they are seriously contemplating a Romney-Rubio or Romney-Bush
ticket on a third party run. They’re
willing to destroy the Republican Party to keep Trump from the White
House.

A. Kasich and Huckabee instantly come to mind. I’d also consider Darrell Issa and Duncan
Hunter. Paul Sessions would round out my
short list.
Q. The Feds are warning North Carolina they’d better change
their law regarding restrooms or else.
They don’t give a damn what the people in the state want. What can North Carolina do? (Athena ~ Compton, CA)
A. The DOJ says North Carolina is in a Civil Rights
violation. If they want to enforce that
position, they have to take the matter up in Federal Court, which can then rule
on the matter. This could end up before
the Supreme Court and if North Carolina loses, they would have to comply. In the meantime, Obama and his henchmen can
withhold federal funds from the state, putting it into an economic bind. If this isn’t tyranny, I don’t know what is. Maybe they should secede from the Union?
