PUTIN RESPONDS TO OBAMA SANCTIONS: WAR IN UKRAINE PROCEEDS

Russia started firing heavy artillery into the Ukraine yesterday in response to Obama’s placement of more sanctions.  Russia is also dramatically increasing its shipments of arms and supplies to the Ukrainian separatists. "We have new evidence that the Russians intend to deliver heavier and more powerful multiple rocket launchers to separatist forces in Ukraine and have evidence that Russia is firing artillery from within Russian to attack Ukrainian military positions," according to a State Department spokesperson.

COMMENTS:

Yesterday was a bad day for both Obama and Kerry.  Kerry showed up in Tel Aviv in an attempt to broker peace and Hamas killed 15 children in an attack.  Both Israel and Hamas basically told Kerry to take get out of town.  Israel discovered huge, sophisticated tunnels fortified with concrete leading from Gaza into Israel; the tunnels are capable of storing rockets and hiding terrorists for weeks at a time.  It should be noted that Obama continues to send aid to Palestine which is undoubtedly ending up in the hands of Hamas.  What a sad sack of manure we have for a President.

A. Oh, yes, those poor, mistreated murderers on death row.  It is such a crying shame; I wish our government would just commute their sentences, credit them with time served and release them, don’t you?  As a matter of fact, maybe you would consider taking one of them in.  You know, these guys who get sentenced to death have committed some of the most brutal, cold-blooded beatings, rapes and murders in the history of mankind; you can feel sorry for them, but I do not. 

Q. What do you think about the V.A. claims that they may have to close their doors if we don’t fork over more taxpayer money?  (Henry ~ Salinas, CA)

A. Poppycock.  That seems to be the only answer Obama has to anything: “Give me more money.”  Now, I’m a veteran and I’m damned upset at what that agency has done to my fellow veterans, but I’m not in favor of forking over a dime until we have a full and complete investigation on the status quo and a full and transparent report to the American public, all accompanied by a responsible plan to fix this mess. Why throw crisp, $100 bills onto a raging fire?   

Q. What’s the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant?  (Barb ~ Santa Ana, CA)

A. The Japanese now acknowledge that crops some 20km from the plant were destroyed by radiation.  They are currently trying desperately to stop the flow of radiation from the plant into groundwater by building a huge underground freeze field.  Back on July 6^th, they had to stop pumping water into one of the reactors due to leaks and the danger of a meltdown rose dramatically.  Finally, they’re reviewing current exposure limits for workers at the site with the possibility of raising them.  I guess the United States isn’t the only country with a jerk in charge.

IMMIGRANTS GOING TO CLOSED SHOPPING MALLS

The Obama Administration has decided to house the influx of illegal aliens and children in shuttered shopping malls across America. 

COMMENTS:

They’re telling the states where these illegals are being sent that they’ll be there for a 35-day max.  I’ll bet you my bottom dollar that these illegals will still be here, probably in these shopping centers and at our expense… when Obama gets out of office.

A. That’s good; that explains why Obama was able to get signed up with his phony birth certificate and fraudulent Connecticut-issued social security card.  Now then… We all know that ObamaCare is the biggest government rip-off of the American citizenry in American history.  Everything about the program is as phony as a four-dollar bill.   

Q. Obama last week signed a new Executive Order mandating non-discrimination in Federal contractor hiring based on sexual orientation.  There are no exceptions for religious organizations.  Is that going to be headed for Court as well?  (Florence ~ Davis, CA)

A. Many religious groups obtain Federal grants or manage Federal contracts, especially when it comes to provision of services to youth groups, substance abuse programs and the like.  This would ban religions that have anti-gay provisions from participating in those grants and contracts.  That, in and of itself, is discriminatory and a violation of the Freedom of Religion clause.  Obama is bound and determined to force his will on everybody, isn’t he? 

Q. What do you think about the Forbes empire selling out to the Chinese?  (Rusty ~ Boise, ID)

A. I hear Steve was directed to sell by a fortune cookie. With the oppressive anti-business climate in America today, I think the Forbes people made a wise decision.  They probably have had enough bad treatment and decided to either sell or shut down and I don’t blame them.  The U.S. is reaping what it sows.

FEDERAL COURT RULES AGAINST OBAMACARE

A Federal Appeals Court panel has ruled a strong blow against ObamaCare, in that the Federal Government cannot issue subsidies to people who sign up for ObamaCare through the Federal ACA exchange.  The ruling deals a huge financial blow to the Affordable Care Act and may be the final nail in the coffin. 

COMMENTS:

The White House is sure to request a hearing on the matter to the full Court and then to the Supreme Court.  I believe the ruling to be correct, but that’s never stopped Obama from rampantly displaying his audacity.

Q. I think the international freeze on airplane flights into Tel-Aviv is designed to put pressure on Israel to end the war.  What do you think?  (Harv ~ Kellogg, ID)

A. That does sound like Obama, doesn’t it?  However, he knows darn well that if he openly comes out against Israel he is going to face one, huge irate America including Democrats.  No, I think the move is actually designed for safety reasons.  Up until now, no one in the territory has had a missile system capable of bringing down airliners over Tel-Aviv, but I suspect the Russians have sent some of those missile launchers like the one used in Ukraine to Iran and Syria. 

Q. What do you think of the idea of sidewalk lanes for cellphone users?  (Trish ~ Pensacola, FL)

A. That is as about as mindless an idea as I’ve ever heard of.  Given the serious nature of problems facing this country today, you would think that government officials could come up with a more creative way of wasting their time… and our tax dollars. 

Q. I see Jay Carney is going to work for the Washington Speakers Bureau at a rather high rate of pay.  What do you think about that?  (Olan ~ Salt Lake City, UT)

A. It’s appropriate: Carney is a liar, a spinner, a conniver and a nincompoop.  He’ll fit right in with the rest of the Washingtonians.

PERRY ORDERS NATIONAL GUARD TO BORDER

Texas Governor Rick Perry has ordered at least 1,000 National Guard troops to the Texas-Mexican border due to criminal activity which is exploiting the children involved.  He said the state has a responsibility to act after "lip service and empty promises" from Washington.  "I will not stand idly by while our citizens are under assault and little children from Central America are detained in squalor."

COMMENTS:

I look for Holder to file legal action against Texas claiming they are exceeding the limits of their authority on the basis that immigration is a federal matter.  That’s what they did in similar circumstances Arizona.  He just loves rubbing people’s faces into the messes he creates.

A. Because we don’t want Netanyahu to look like a better leader than Obama.  You know, if we’re not going to support them in defending their nation, we have no business telling them how to do it.  None.  Zip. 

Q. I’m so upset about the shooting down of the Malaysian jetliner and the way it’s being handled.  (Earnest ~ Lake City, CA)

A. Let me be succinct.  You have a President who chastises Israel for killing too many Hamas while he continues to send U.S. Aid to Palestine; he doesn’t give a hoot about Israel.  You have a President who basically waffles over holding Putin accountable for the airplane being shot down.  Now, here’re the facts: (1) the plane got shot down by Russian backed Ukrainian separatists; (2) the wreckage, evidence and bodies are being removed from the scene; (3) no international observers or analysts are being allowed onto the scene; and (4) the black boxes are long gone, probably never to see the light of day again.  Putin has not budged.  This whole scenario is over, done with, finished.  It’s not going any further, period.  So, quit the whining and get over it.  That’ll make both Putin and Obama very happy.  Got it?

A. No.  When you deal from a position of power, others are actually attracted to you.  If any country is isolating itself, it’s us.

OBAMA, KERRY CHASTISE ISRAEL

While saying they support Israel, both President Obama and John Kerry have expressed concerns about the rising death toll among Palestinians and Hamas. 

COMMENTS:

They talk out of both sides of their mouths.  War is war.  Wars bring casualties. If you don’t want and expect casualties, don’t start a war.  Hamas has been relentlessly attacking Israel without regard for Israeli lives.  Israel warned the residents of Gaza to get out of town ahead of time; Hamas does not.  Obama and Kerry don’t have the slightest idea of what war is all about… I don’t care HOW many Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars Kerry says he has.  At least Netanyahu, unlike Obama, does know how best to defend his country: don’t pick fights, but kick the crap out of anybody who does.

A. Yes and no.  We willingly ceded world power to Putin; he did not have to seize it.  Since we emerged as the world leader at the end of World War II, we have consistently been THE world power.  But, starting with the Syrian red line that quickly turned yellow when the chips were down, it became known that this President was no world leader and that America was willing to step down from its role.  From there, in such a short time, it snowballed into a world full of dangerous chaos.  The only thing left in America’s power arsenal these days is Obama’s dangerous left hook on the golf course. 

Q. Dr. Ben Carson is suggesting that we remove the party tags from candidate names on election materials in order to force people into learning about their candidates as opposed to voting for straight party-line tickets.  It sounds good; do you think it will work?  (Dana ~ Tulsa, OK)

A. No.  Experience teaches me you cannot force people to do what they would otherwise not do on their own.  The only way to encourage people to learn more about the candidates is to have more candidate nights on the tube during prime time.  Or, I suppose you could develop game cards where you answer which candidate is for gun control, which is for state rights, etc. and the ones with the most correct answers have a drawing for a free year of text messaging, fries at McDonalds, or something like that. 

Q. What do you think of the Republican plan to slash the President’s $3.7 billion border spending request?  (Cliff ~ Albany, OR)

A. They didn’t think their plan through.  Modify it to include mandatory closing of the border as a precondition to using any of the money for anything else.  Politically, I think they’ll lose ground if they just simply cut the budget, not that they have much ground left to lose.

ANTI-OBAMA CHICAGO PROTEST GOES UNREPORTED

A large number of Southside Chicagoans protested last weekend over government spending on illegal immigration while native Chicagoans suffer.  “Barack will go down as the worst president ever elected,” one man said.  Others compared the modern situation in Chicago to the slavery of yesteryear. 

COMMENTS:

Hmmm… I wonder why that didn’t make the news.  You’d think MSNBC, CNN or one of those outfits would have reported on it. Check out the video, below.

Q. I hear Obama enjoys a high percentage of favorability among the Muslim population?  (Chuck ~ Coalinga, CA)

A. A recent report shows that 72% of the Muslims give him a high rating.  So here’s what this means: our nation is led by a man who enjoys by far his highest approval from a demographic that descends from an ideology which has been in conflict with the Judeo-Christian ideals of Western Civilization (aka American Exceptionalism) from its very inception.  At the moment, less than 1% of the country is Muslim.  That translates to .72% of the population thinking he’s doing a great job.  Wow… bowls me over!

Q. What do you think of Chris Christie’s chances of getting the Republican nomination for President? (Violet ~ Roy, UT)

A. He has stated that he is not against gun control.  Being ambivalent, he’s also said he’s not for gun control.  As far as I am concerned, anyone who says he’s not against control is for it.  I think the NRA will be all over him.  I also sometimes think he is a closet liberal.  That all being said, the Republican hierarchy is dumb enough to put him on the same ticket as Mitt Romney.   

Q. I’ve heard more than one person say that the Congressional investigations into Benghazi, the I.R.S., Fast & Furious, the V.A…. they’re all just dog and pony shows.  I think I saw you say it once or twice as well.  What do you base that on?  (Seth ~ Burns, OR)

A. If they were serious about it and not getting responses, like they are not, they could start defunding the White House.  They don’t need the Senate to do that and it would force things straight into the Supreme Court.  But, they just keep on sending out subpoenas and accepting the Obama’s middle finger.  This thing about suing the President is, to me, a blatant sign of impotency.  I think Obama called their bluff when he said, “So sue me,” and what did they decide?
