SYRIA: WHAT NEXT?

U.S. warships have moved closer to Syria.  A senior administration official says there is "very little doubt" that a chemical weapon was used by the Syrian regime against civilians in an incident that killed at least a hundred people last week.  Syria warned the United States against any military action over a suspected chemical weapons attack in its civil war, saying it would "create a ball of fire that will inflame the Middle East."

COMMENTS:
Expect a token strike, something to make Obama look good while causing no real grief.  He doesn't have the balls to do anything else.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you have an opinion on the mysterious deaths of hundreds of dolphins on the east coast of the U.S.?  (Vangie ~ Carson City, NV)
A. What ever happened to that great big ball of tarred oil that resulted from the gulf oil spill?

Q. There are a lot of pros and cons about the possibility of making ObamaCare defunding the key issue on upcoming budgetary discussions.  What’s your opinion?  (Kennedy ~ Los Osos, CA)
A. This question is not so easy to read.  Both sides stand a lot to lose if the cards are not correctly played.   The proper answer should be, of course, what is best for the country.  However, that question seems to be beyond the comprehension of the Congress or the President.  So, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Q. What do you think about San Diego Mayor’s Bob Filner’s resignation?  (Marguerite ~ Needles, CA)
A. The guy is a jackass.

I.R.S. TARGETED AMERICAN LEGION

FOX NEWS is reporting that the I.R.S. may have been targeting the venerable American Legion.  The veterans’ service group says it recently learned about a so-called IRS “audit manual” that requires American Legion posts to keep dates of service and member records or perhaps face a $1,000-a-day fine.  “On the heels of Americans’ anger over revelations that the IRS intentionally targeted certain groups, it has been brought to my attention that the IRS is now turning its sights toward our nation’s veterans,” Kansas Republican Sen. Jerry Moran said this weekend. “This policy seems to be crafted with the oversight of Lois Lerner and deserves, at a minimum, a thorough look.

COMMENTS:

How low can you get?  I am a member of the American Legion.  Talk about a bunch of very patriotic Americans, all of whom have willingly put their lives on the line for this country... such an activity is beyond despicable.  MAY GOD DAMN THE I.R.S. AND THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.  This is beyond impeachable; we need tar and feathers.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. Yesterday in “WE’RE NOT TO BLAME,” you talked about our guys in Libya who were in pursuit of the perpetrators of the Benghazi Massacre being pulled out because it was too dangerous.  Are we becoming a nation of weenies? (George ~ Mesa, AZ)
A. No, but Obama is.  One thing is certain: he is desperately afraid that we are going to find out whatever it was that happened at Benghazi.

Q. We all know that we struck Iran’s nuclear program with the Stuxnet virus.  Now, it appears that Iran is fighting back and becoming a prominent hacker and problem maker for the U.S.  Is it possible they that are responsible for the NASDAC shutting down last week?  (Pedro ~ Victorville, CA)
A. Yes, that is possible.  There have been calls for an SEC investigation, but my experience is that the systems in place are very redundant.  The fact that they were not able to quickly get their web back up leads me to believe that they were, in fact, hacked and that this was not a simple equipment or software failure.

Q. What is your opinion of McCain’s suggestion that we can intervene in Syria without putting our boots on the ground?  (Alma ~ Cedar City, UT)
A. Here we go with another “politically correct” war.  War is war.  If you are going to war, it should be no holds barred; otherwise, don’t go.  Korea proves that.  Viet Nam proves that.  Iraq proves that.  Afghanistan proves that.  Anyone who says different has no backbone and are akin to birds… all mouth and no ass. The ideal move would be to bomb the crap out of Assad's palaces.  Besides, we have no legal standing to intervene unless asked by Syria or by U.N. resolution.

MOODY’S MAY CUT U.S. BANK RATINGS

Moody’s, a prominent international credit rating firm, has indicated it may cut the credit ratings of several major U.S. banks, citing reduced chances that the government will fully bail out bond investors if the companies run into financial distress.  Under consideration are J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley.  Ratings downgrades can increase a bank's borrowing costs and force it to post more collateral in derivative trades, weighing on its profitability and draining its cash.

COMMENTS:
This announcement supports my position, held over many months, that our economy is fragile and could sink into oblivion on any given moment of any given day.  Yes, things are that serious, regardless of what the “Omnipotent One” in the White House keeps saying.  We are NOT on the road to financial recovery of any significance and we are perilously close to disaster.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why doesn’t Obama accept responsibility for any of the bad things he is responsible for?  Now he’s blaming Limbaugh for the Washington gridlock.  (Leticia ~ San Martin, CA)
A. In his mind, he is perfect and therefore incapable of making mistakes or causing gridlock.  I’m quite serious when I say these things.  He exists in his own reality, which does not include us.  Famous people who had the same psychosis are Stalin, Mao, Hussein, Hitler and Mussolini.

Q. A recent poll shows that House Speaker John Boehner is disfavored by 53% of the American people.  How do you rate him?  (Lonnie ~ Coalinga, CA)
A. Far worse.  I am disappointed in that he talks good but buckles under pressure.  It’s almost as if everything that has been going bad in Washington has been choreographed and that he’s part of the plot.  The country needs someone who is strong and principled in all major positions of the government, and we are sorely lacking everywhere.

Q. How do you visualize the Saudi position over Iran, Syria and Egypt?  (Kerry ~ Jerome, ID)
A. They may emerge as being the new leader in the Middle East.  They are more than concerned with the “Arab Spring” and with what is going on around them.  They are disappointed in the United States and the lack of leadership we have displayed in the region over the last four years.

IS OBAMA FOMENTING A RACE WAR?

Ayo Kimathi, a Department of Homeland Security manager in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the government is also running an inflammatory website that throws around gay slurs and advocates the mass murder of "whites" and the "ethnic cleansing" of "Uncle Tom race traitors," according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.  His website, “War on the Horizon,” declares, “In order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites – more than our Christian hearts can possibly count.”

COMMENTS:
D.H.S. is claiming that Kimathi came to them for permission to put up the website, but misrepresented it as being a venue for selling concert tickets.  Isn’t it amazing how the government, in all of its misdeeds, never manages to be a guilty party?  The fact is that the atmosphere created by the President has at the very least encouraged such thinking and such actions.  I’m not so certain that it was not by design.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The Justice Department is suing Texas to try and keep them from enforcing sound voter laws.  Are they deliberately trying to get rid of all of the safeguards in our election process?  (Trudy ~ Boise, ID)
A. I believe one of the steps necessary to destroy our Constitution is to cause us to lose confidence in our political process.

Q. Bradley Manning says he wants to switch genders and change his name to Chelsea.  Will the taxpayers have to pay for this?  (Spike ~ Klamath Falls, OR)
A. Well, if we don’t do that, wouldn’t the “establishment” consider his prison sentence to be cruel and unusual punishment?  I mean, wouldn’t spending 35 years in prison in a sex gender you don’t belong in be cruel and unusual?  On that basis alone, I think he deserves a Presidential pardon.  Please pass the gray poop on.

Q. I read that Obama is forking out $67 million to organizations to get out and beat the streets to get people signed up for ObamaCare.  Does this mean that ACORN is alive and well?  (Fawn ~ Corpus Christi, TX)
A. They have always been alive and well; they just changed their names.  Three of the Planned Parenthood organizations received money for this purpose.  Obviously, they are having big time trouble in getting people to go along with their damned ObamaCare.  I’d just love it if the whole country would just stand up and flip Obama, Pelosi and Reid off.

HOW DOES THE ANTI-GUN LOBBY ANSWER THIS?

Rodney Long was an inmate who escaped from the Iowa State Prison in Clarinda, shot a Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy and broke into the farmhouse of Jerome and Carolyn Mauderly, whereupon he cut their landline.  After some four hours of being held hostage, Mauderly managed to shoot Long to death in the farmhouse kitchen.

COMMENTS:
Given the circumstances, no one can doubt that the Mauderlies were justifiably fearful for their lives.  Had they not managed to get a gun and shoot Long, he most certainly would have killed them.  And there are those who would deny the Mauderlies the right to defend themselves.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is all of the ruckus about John Sandweg being nominated to the I.C.E. job?  (Sylvester ~ Salem, OR)
A. He has virtually no law enforcement experience.  The Republicans are also concerned about his partisanship; he’s a staunch Democrat.  As if to say that the Republicans wouldn’t nominate someone who was a staunch Republican to the job?  Come on!  His major attribute is that he was chief fundraiser for Napolitano, so what’s wrong with that?

Q. The FISA Court ruling that N.S.A. was violating the Constitution with its surveillance of U.S. citizens came in October of 2011.  But, they continued with business as usual and ignored the ruling.  Why isn’t someone in jail?  (Timothy ~ Elk Grove, CA)
A. This pattern is running rampant through several agencies of the Obama Administration.  Obviously, direction is coming from the top.  The correct person to file charges would be Eric Holder, but we all know where he stands.

Q. What do you think about AL JAZEERA starting up its U.S. cable T.V. network the other day?  (Buster ~ Chandler, AZ)
A. They can’t be any worse than NBC or MSNBC.  As an American, I do object to the probability that they are going to be broadcasting things that will endanger our freedom and our democratic way of life.

SCHOOL SUPPORTS MUSLIMS OVER CHRSTIANS

Minneha Core Knowledge Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas put up a display of the five pillars of Islam and immediately ignited a storm of protest around the nation as a picture of the poster went viral on the Internet.  While school officials have removed the controversial display, they insisted in a statement released Monday that the picture took their intention out of context.  “A photo taken of a bulletin board without context is misleading and some have taken it out of context without having all the information.”  The school banned all forms of Christian prayer last year.

COMMENTS:
Events in this country keep pushing us closer and closer to a war between blacks and whites or a war between Christians and Muslims, and our President is fanning the fires.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The Saudi’s stepped out yesterday and said if the U.S. withdraws aid to Egypt’s military they will replace it.  Isn’t that a slap in our face?  (Bruno ~ San Anselmo, CA)
A. It’s more like a slap in Obama’s face, but well-deserved I might add.  Obama is really bungling our relationship with Egypt.  He should probably shut up, go hide in a corner and lick his wounds.

Q. Kathleen Sibelius has announced a $30,000 prize pool for the public to create a TV add praising ObamaCare for young people.  The plan will cost taxpayers some $680 million to implement.  Is this stupid, or what?  (Anita ~ Grapevine, TX)
A. It never ceases to amaze me to what ends the government can go to waste our money.  And, I suppose they still want us to go along with raising the debt ceiling?

Q. I can’t believe a Canadian woman was told to euthanize her autistic son or to move out of the neighborhood.  What has this world come to?  (Penny ~ Everett, WA)
A. That just goes to show that left-wing liberals live everywhere.  They predominantly believe that if you are not perfect, like them, you should be dead.  That’s why the provisions of ObamaCare suck when it comes to senior care.
