WAS KERRY REALLY IN A BICYCLE ACCIDENT?

Word floating around in Iran is that Kerry was not injured in a biking accident, but was in a secret meeting with I.S.I.S. leaders when an assassination attempt took place.  The conspiracy theory was cloaked in an aura of international intrigue with plot twists connecting Switzerland, France, Russia and a U.S.-trained Islamic State loyalist from Tajikistan. 

COMMENTS:

I guess that means Kerry has earned yet another Bronze Star?  And the reason for the secrecy is that Obama is afraid Americans would start demanding more serious action on our part against I.S.I.S. if they knew the truth.

OBAMA: IRAN CAN HAVE NUKES

This from the NEW YORK POST:  In an astonishing interview with Israel’s Channel 2, the president declared that “the best way to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is a verifiable, tough agreement.  “A military solution will not fix it, even if the United States participates. It would temporarily slow down an Iranian nuclear program, but it would not eliminate it.” 

Why is this astonishing? Because Obama is publicly eliminating any American possibility that we will bomb Iran’s nuclear sites even if the deal in which he has invested so much collapses. Despite his declaration at a Washington synagogue last week that “Iran must not, under any circumstances, be allowed to get a nuclear weapon,” the president is in fact making it very clear Iran will go nuclear, and with his implicit assent. 

Period.

Note that he has decided to eliminate the possibility of a military strike even though he has already indicated his deal will allow Iran to go nuclear in 2028.

A. PATRIOT UPDATE reports, if regs are not strictly followed, schools can be required to return federal school lunch money, be penalized for state and federal food service programs, or make all schools in the county vulnerable to similar punishment.  A PreK-8 teacher, who was not identified, would give her students “wrapped candy” as a reward for their hard work and good behavior.  Because the practice was an alleged violation of the federal rules championed by first lady Michelle Obama, someone reported it and the school board is now considering levying a fine against the teacher.

ASSAD JOINING I.S.I.S.?

Informed sources are saying that Syrian air forces have been providing air cover to I.S.I.S. as it attempts to invade Aleppo and seize it from Syrian rebels.

COMMENTS:

For the first time, at least openly, this puts Assad in concert with I.S.I.S., at least in his ongoing battle against the Syrian rebels.  It remains to be seen if this alliance will extend itself into other I.S.I.S. battles, such as against Iraq, Yemen, Libya and elsewhere.  The significance, however, is ominous.  Both I.S.I.S. and Assad share many common enemies, including the United States and Israel.  Additionally, Assad has been doing everything within his power to retain his rule.  It should also be mentioned that the U.S., which has assisted the rebels in the past, is notably absent at Aleppo.  The bad news out of the Middle East seems to be coming at a much faster, and much more alarming, pace.  One thing is certain: the “J.V. Team” is no longer “J.V.”

As it stands today, Hillary is in trouble.  She’s lost her luster and scared the hell out of the Democratic Party; even her ardent supporters have begun to express their misgivings.  I believe Martin O’Malley has the capability of giving her a run for her money, although she does have plenty of it.  It remains to be seen whether or not money can trump her errant ways.   

Q. Jeb Bush insists he wants a path to citizenship for the illegals.  Right now, they’re even talking about allowing the illegals onto ObamaCare.  Where do you see this all leading?  (Larue ~ Anderson, CA)

A. What frustrates me is that the debate is not focusing on sealing the damned southern borders.  I’m insistent that NO discussion as to what to do with the illegals already here can be had until we solve that problem.  Is this OUR country, or not?  Is it OUR tax money, or not?  The way it's going, we both know the end of the story.

UGLY UNION BATTLE IN SOUTH CAROLINA

Volvo has announced it will build it first manufacturing facility in North America in South Carolina because of its firm right-to-work status.  The plant will employ up to 2,000 workers and turn out 100,000 cars per year, according to a FOX NEWS report.  United Auto Workers President Dennis Williams has said his union will take its organizing message straight to the workers at the plant, slated to open near Charleston in 2018.  State officials have vowed to make the union “unwelcome.” 

COMMENTS:

That’s just what the country needs… another major battle over jobs. I guess the UAW would prefer that Volvo keep those 2,000 jobs in Sweden.

The word floating around is that the Supreme Court might rule in favor of allowing the illegal and skewed health insurance subsidy program because, should they rule against it, millions of people would be left without insurance.  I thought their only job was to apply the law and that it was Congress’ job to do the legislation?  (Trudy ~ Saratoga, CA)

A. You’re correct, of course, but all courts have to some degree crossed the line and done some legislating from the bench.  I cite the great example of the Robert’s court ruling that ObamaCare is a tax in order to get around the fact that it is an unconstitutional intervention into private rights.  This latest supposition is being spread, I suspect, not by the Court, but by Obama himself, because he doesn’t want the Court to shut his wonderful program down. 

Q. David Axelrod says that Obama said to him that he (Obama) is the closest thing to a Jew that has ever sat in the White House.  Where do these antipathetic liars get the guts to say such things?  (Lucy ~ Bellingham, WA)

A. I actually think Obama was not heard correctly; surely he said, “I am the closest thing to a Judas that has ever sat in the White House.” 

Q. Now I hear that the FBI is actually flying small planes over cities with eavesdropping equipment and cameras so they can keep track of us?  (Milo ~ Kellogg, ID)

A. And they’re probably using drones.  And don’t forget those innocent-looking video cameras at every street corner.  They’re probably using peepholes in restrooms, too.  How else do you expect Obama to keep track of his growing legions of enemies?

GENDERLESS KIDS

A Human Rights Tribunal in British Columbia is considering whether to eliminate gender altogether on baby’s birth certificates.  The argument: “…doctors should stop assigning the sex of a baby based on a quick inspection of the baby’s genitals at birth when there’s a possibility they may identify under a different gender, or no gender, years later. A. He was probably backpedaling.  Now he has to fly back to the U.S. for further treatment because they don’t have ObamaCare over there.
