BENGHAZI EXPLODES AT 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE

Faced with the impending release of Administration emails regarding the “talking points” and initial release of information about Benghazi, Jay Carney held a secret, off-the-record with 14 different news organizations yesterday.  That was followed by a regularly scheduled press conference during which Carney was on the hot seat with respect to one email from a “top administration official” demanding that the talking points be watered down even more.  He then lashed out at Republicans and accused them of leaking the emails in an effort to embarrass the White House.  Carney had claimed last year that the only adjustment the White House or State Department made to the language was to change the word "consulate" to "diplomatic facility."  But, ABC News reported yesterday that the talking points were revised 12 times.  In the meanwhile, Mike Huckabee and others are suggesting that Obama will be impeached over the Benghazi Massacre story.

COMMENTS:
The secret press conference was undoubtedly to enlist the support of news organizations in playing down the breaking news; the White House has allegedly threatened news organizations with expulsions from the press corps in the past unless members reported as they were directed to do by the Press Secretary.  The emails are what they are and, if they cause embarrassment to the White House it’s due to the content of the emails, not the people reporting on them.  Right after the Massacre, I predicted that the event may well lead to the impeachment of Obama and I still believe that.  The whole story as we now know it is only the tip of the iceberg; the White House continues to deny the names of, or access to, on-the-ground survivors of the attack.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why are we withdrawing some personnel from our Libyan Embassy?  I thought we closed it when the Benghazi Massacre happened.  (Clyde ~ Ventura, CA)
A. The Consulate was in Benghazi and the Embassy is in Tripoli.  I fully agree with your thought: Why didn’t we pull all diplomatic personnel out after the Benghazi Massacre?  This administration is dumber than a post.  The failure to do so is irresponsible and negligent.  So, here we are today in the exact, same potential situation: everyone else is getting out; we are withdrawing a few “non-essential” personnel.  Are we going to have a Tripoli Massacre?

Q. Did the I.R.S. really go after the Tea Parties?  (Leonard ~ Williams, AZ)
A. Yes they did and if you contributed, they wanted your name and address so they could go after you, too.  The I.R.S. admitted that the Tea Parties were a target and apologized, but the Tea Parties, as of this posting, refused to accept the apologies and rightly so.  OPPRESSION RULES THE DAY IN THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

Q. I read yesterday that the guys who put together the proposed immigration legislation voted down a proposed amendment that would require border security before granting amnesty to the illegals.  Why?  (Cleo ~ Tooele, UT)
A. Because the Democrats want the increased voting block before the borders are secured.  In other words, if they can’t secure the Mexican vote for the 2014 election, they don’t want border security.  This is shameless and blatantly un-American.

GANGSTERS STEAL $45 MILLION FROM PREPAID DEBIT CARDS

From THE DRUDGE Report and Associated Press:  “A worldwide gang of criminals stole a total of $45 million in a matter of hours by hacking their way into a database of prepaid debit cards and then draining cash machines around the globe, federal prosecutors said Thursday - and outmoded U.S. card technology may be partly to blame.

“Seven people are under arrest in the U.S. in connection with the case, which prosecutors said involved thousands of thefts from ATMs using bogus magnetic swipe cards carrying information from Middle Eastern banks. The fraudsters moved with astounding speed to loot financial institutions around the world, working in cells including one in New York, Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said.  She called it ‘a massive 21st-century bank heist’ carried out by brazen thieves.”

COMMENTS:
What the story doesn’t tell you is that banks have you sign an ACH agreement that says, in essence, they are not responsible for unauthorized ACH withdrawals from your account unless you specifically have refused to allow such transactions.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now that the Arias verdict is in, what are your thoughts?  (Clarice ~ Milpitas, CA)
A. In a truly just society, she should have been summarily marched out of the court room and straight to the firing squad, manned by life members of the NRA.  Is there anyone out there who believes that this murder would have been prevented had there not been a gun available?

Q. Why aren’t more Americans raising hell about the new ObamaCare law?  (Brandy ~ Williams, AZ)
A. Believe it or not, a recent survey reflects that 42% of Americans don’t realize that ObamaCare has become the law of the land.  Of those aware of the act and the fact it is now law, only 35% view it favorably.  I think it’s a matter of ignorance.  What we need to do is to reach that 42% and explain not only the facts of ObamaCare, but the facts of Obama in particular.  Are you willing to jump in and help to do that?

Q. Do you think the Benghazi Massacre could have been prevented?  (Terry ~ American Falls, ID)
A. Yes, absolutely.  All other countries with embassies or consulates there had packed up and left.  We had warnings that some attack was imminent.  Ambassador Stephens requested additional security and was denied.  Once the attack was under way, military assistance was refused.  If this doesn’t add up to a deliberate massacre of those at Benghazi, what does?  The major and crucial question that has not yet been asked is: Why did we allow them to be massacred?  Why?

CHINA BEHIND MASSIVE CYBER ATTACKS

The Pentagon has openly accused the Chinese government and military of cyber-espionage against the United States.  This is the first time the Defense Department has linked the attacks directly to the highest levels of China’s government.  "China is using its computer network exploitation capability to support intelligence collection against the U.S. diplomatic, economic, and defense industrial base sectors that support U.S. national defense programs," reads the report.  China has denied the charges.

COMMENTS:
And we can’t afford to do anything about it because we owe them so damned much money?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why hasn’t the NRA gone to schools and promoted gun safety classes?  (Trudy ~ Portola, CA)
A. They’re trying, but catch this: two schools in Houston had gun safety classes lined up and, when they discovered the classes had been developed by the NRA, they cancelled them because they did not want to appear to be taking sides.  Good God, has everybody in the country vacated their brains?

Q. Back in 2009, we bailed GM’s fanny out of bankruptcy, and now they’re building a plant in China?  (Ike ~ Ellensburg, WA)
A. That’s correct.  They say they’re going to build cars only for the Chinese, but I can foresee the day when they will be building cars in China for sale in the U.S., which means a net export of jobs to China.  It initial investment will be $1.3 billion.

Q. Do you think the new immigration bill will pass?  (Myrna ~ Hobbs, NM)
A. It offers amnesty now, citizenship later, no increased border control initially, and it’s going to add $6.3 trillion to our national debt in order to implement it and to cover associated entitlements.  What do you think?

FEDS ORDER STILL MORE AMMUNITION

PATRIOT UPDATE is reporting: “The Department of Homeland Security has released a market survey asking companies if they are able to provide 2 million rounds of ammunition within a short time period, increasing concerns that the federal agency is continuing its arms build- up in preparation for domestic unrest.” Read more: http://patriotupdate.com/2013/05/big-sis-seeks-millions-more-rounds-of-ammunition/#ixzz2See1ybM5

COMMENTS:
Federal queries being sent out ask manufacturers and suppliers if they could obtain large quantities of specific types in a short time frame such as 30-60 days, and ask if they could obtain immediate delivery of 2 million rounds of specified types.  There are only two answers to the question of why: (1) they don’t want gun owners to have access to such ammunition, or (2) they feel they are going to have some compelling need for the ammo for their own uses. The amounts of ammo they are stashing and hoarding far exceeds training needs and is not a type of ammo normally used for trraining purposes.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is going on with the North Korean situation lately?  (Mauro ~ Los Angeles, CA)
A.  They have moved their missiles off the launch pad.  Evidently, the little tyrant lost interest, at least temporarily, in carrying on his antics because he lost his audience due to the Boston Bombings and other ongoing news stories.

Q. There’s that idiot who wants armed citizens to march on Washington on July 4th.  Other voices are voicing concern that a civil insurrection may be close at hand.  What do you think?  (Winifred ~ Magalia, CA)
A. The Tea Party is reporting that 29% of Americans feel that armed revolt may be necessary in order to secure freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.  Less than 50%, 47% feel that would be a mistake.  I believe the possibility of a revolt exists and that the possibility of the country sinking into anarchy is very real.  All of us who love this country need to be alert to the signs.

Q. What will happen if more states refuse to obey Obama’s gun control laws?  (Phil ~ Fort Collins, CO)
A. I suppose Obama could order troops out to enforce the laws, like they did during the desegregation era.  Two states have joined Obama’s s&%t list: South Carolina is about to pass a law criminalizing enforcement of ObamaCare dictates, and Kansas intends to prosecute Federal agents who attempt to enforce Federal gun laws in that state.  What you have here, thankfully, is a growing number of Americans and states who have “had enough” of this oppressive government.

CAPTIVE SEX SLAVES FREED

Late yesterday afternoon in a Cleveland superb, three brothers were arrested after three women who disappeared ten years ago were freed.  Cheering crowds gathered Monday night on the street near the home where police said Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were found earlier in the day; they were taken to a hospital for observation and evaluation.

COMMENTS:
Thank God for some good news for a change.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why does Obama keep on trying to get gun control when he knows the country is against it?  (Katie ~ Magnolia, CA)
A. I honestly think he is deliberately trying to provoke civil war.  Think about it; he has divided this country every way he can.  By having a civil war, he can declare martial law and use our own troops against us to bring down the government and establish a new Muslim socialist government with him in as dictator.  Now, I’m no fan of conspiracy theory, but why else would he also be allowing radical Muslims to set up shop in the U.S.?

Q. Activist and talk radio host Adam Kokesh is recruiting armed citizens to march on Washington on July 4th in protest to proposed new gun laws.  Do you advise that we should join him?  (Lyle ~ Salem, OR)
A. Having such a march on Washington by gun owners is a great idea; carrying loaded firearms during the march is about the dumbest idea I’ve heard of since Joe Biden advocated shooting a 12-gauge shotgun off the front porch.  The idea is likely to backfire, pardon the play on words.  All you need is for one participant to fire a round off into the air and you have the makings of a real disaster.  No responsible gun owner would suggest such a thing, and the 1,500 who have already signed on to the event should be taking close introspective stock of themselves and their motives.  As for you, stay as far away from that scene as you possibly can.  Kokesh should be off the air and checked into a nut house.

Q. I hear they found a tiny skeleton that looks like an alien space creature.  Is there any truth to that?  (Maureen ~ Logan, UT)
A. Yes.  It was found in Chile and is undergoing research at Stanford.  Some scientists have concluded that it is simply a deformed human skeleton because it contains human DNA.  There is no ironclad rule, however, which says that space aliens would not or could not have human DNA.  The “baby” has ten ribs instead of the earth-human 12 ribs, and a misshapen skull.  There is disagreement as to whether the skeleton was that of a baby or someone with dwarfism disease.  Check for information on a trailer called “Sirius.”

CAN NORTH KOREA LAUNCH A NUKE AGAINST U.S.?

The Pentagon reported to Congress last week in an unclassified version that North Korea "will move closer" to its announced goal of being able to strike the U.S. with a nuclear-armed missile if it keeps investing in tests of nuclear and missile technology.

COMMENTS:

There are no signs of North Korea slowing down one iota.  We know they have successfully launched missiles.  We know they have tested nukes.  We know that intelligence released to the public lags far behind reality.  This is indeed a scary scenario.  Whatever the status is, it’s closer than our government wants us to think.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. So, Russia warns the U.S. about Tamerlan and the FBI interviews Tamerlan and lets him go.  Then, after the Boston Bombing, the FBI floats these pictures of Tamerlan and Dzhorkhar and asks for help in identifying them?  What’s with this?  They damned well should have known who Tamerlan was!  (Audrey ~ Lewiston, ID)
A. Maybe they thought the bombing was due to that infamous anti-Muslim video from Benghazi days?  Has it ever occurred to you that our government is so used to lying to us that they are incapable of telling the truth?  Sowing the seeds of distrust in government is a prelude to revolution and dictatorship.  Get your hackles up!

Q. Now that the trial is almost over, do you think Jody Arias is guilty?  (Roger ~ Hayfork, CA)
A. I think the boyfriend committed suicide by stabbing himself 27 times, slitting his throat and shooting himself, and that he got rid of the gun and knife before he died.  And Jody dragged the body into the shower to make it look like a homicide so she could get some much needed attention.  Anyone want a drink of scotch?

Q. What’s your opinion on the NRA Convention?  (Lolly ~ La Conner, WA)
A. Shoot, I don’t know; I didn’t scope it out.  I understand the attendees got a bang out of it.  They were expecting Joe Biden to speak, but he’s too quick on the trigger.  Oddly enough, no mass shooter tried to enter the arena and open fire.
