HARRY REID: WE WILL NEVER WORK WITH ROMNEY

Nevada Senator Harry Reid, the esteemed Majority Leader of the United States Senate, went on the record Saturday, fuming that his party will never work with Mitt Romney. 

COMMENTS:

Well, there it is folks, staring everyone in the face.  For the last four years, the Democrats have been asserting that it is the Republicans who are the problem with Congress.  Now we know, loud and clear, who flatly refuses to work with Republicans for the good of the nation; it’s the Democrats, particularly those in the United States Senate.  Unless they get their way, they will not compromise and they will stand IN the way of anything and everything that needs to be done for the good of the country.  They are NOT part of the solution; they ARE part of the problem.  Up to this point, I‘ve taken the stance that we need to vote all incumbents out of office, regardless of party affiliation.  Harry Reid now makes it clear; we have to vote all Democrat incumbents out of office.

Q. I was talking with my banker the other day and he was telling me they would have to close their doors next year due to the mountain of regulations being placed on small banks by the Obama Administration.  What is going on here, anyway?  (Ryan ~ Everett, WA)

A. Back to the financial collapse of 2008, which I assert was caused by two things: (1) the bungling of the oversight of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac by Charles Dodd and Barney Frank, and (2) the high cost of fuel.  The economy stalled, foreclosures started to go up, and then the bottom fell out of everything, including the banking industry.  Dodd and Frank, trying to divert attention from their role in the collapse, sponsored the Dodd-Frank Act to reform the financial industry.  The Act piles a mountain of red tape on every bank in the country, and red tape costs money for businesses to wade through it.  Small banks can’t manage the higher costs of operation so, not that they had anything at all to do with the collapse, they now pay the penalty by having to close their doors.  This is just one more step toward the total socialization of the country. 

Q. The Obama Administration asserted that the Republicans prevented better security at embassies and consulates overseas, which resulted in the Benghazi massacre.  Is that true?  (Marianna ~ Modesto, CA)

A. That is a blatant lie.  The truth of the matter is that Obama has proposed a $129 million cut from embassy security, construction and maintenance, even after the Benghazi Attack, unless the Republicans cave in on his demands for higher taxes. 

Q. You said the other day that the Mexican economy is on a strong upswing while ours continues to falter.  How is Canada doing?  (Mitchell ~ Fallon, NV)

A. The U.S. debt, expressed as a percentage of gross domestic product, is 61% and rising.  The Canadian debt, by the same standard, is 36.1% of gross domestic product and falling.  It wasn’t very long ago that Canada was in bad economic shape as we now are.  Their Prime Minister Stephen Harper has engineered a turn-around that began with controlling spending, lowering taxes and modifying regulations to reduce the burden on businesses.  Once again, the only reason we continue to drift along the edge of financial collapse is because OUR President doesn’t know what he’s doing and he doesn’t want to learn.

FBI BUNGLES BENGHAZI INVESTIGATION

Several weeks after the FBI visited the empty burned-out hulk that was left of the Benghazi Consulate for the purpose of gathering evidence as to what actually occurred there, journalists visited the site and garnered top secret and classified documents that should have been removed, many of them pertaining directly to what occurred on that ill-fated night of September 11, 2012.  Members of the intelligence community are infuriated that Obama and Clinton fingered them for not providing the proper information on what had happened at Benghazi when, in fact, the White House and State Department were watching what was happening via live drone coverage and when, in fact, the White House had ordered the Counter-Terrorism Security Group to butt out.

It’s time that Romney took Obama to task for all of this.  Some American needs to.

A. Because he wants to be reelected.  His consummate goal in life is power and he refuses to allow anything to get in the way of his achievement of that goal.  It is that motivation for complete control and power that brought Stalin, Hitler and Hussein to power.  That, my friend, is not political talk; it’s a fact. 

Q. I think just about anything and everything that can come out about Benghazi is now out.  So why doesn’t Obama come clean?  (Ogden ~ Sedona, AZ)

A. I actually agreed with you a few days ago.  But, the fact that he not only continues to stonewall and that he has also issued orders that any information must be cleared through the White House before being released tells me that we haven’t hit the bulls-eye yet; there’s much, much more to come and it can’t be positive for Obama or it would already be out.  Thank God for whistleblowers and patriots.

A. Ha, ha, ha, ha.  You must be on drugs.

MEDIA REFUSES TO COVER THE BIGGEST STORY SINCE WATERGATE

With the exception of Fox News, The Blaze, Newsmax, and few other outlets, the “fourth estate” of America… the media and the press… has adamantly and steadfastly refused to cover the horrible story of the Benghazi massacre and resulting cover-up.  Only ABC has dared to venture into the story, albeit briefly. 

  

COMMENTS:

History will show that every great country that has been taken over by depots and dictators has first allowed journalism and “free press” to be taken over and to come under total control of the government.  Every country which has succeeded in maintaining its democracy or republican form of government over the centuries has encouraged and expected a totally independent communication of factual news to the masses.  The press, the media has an inherent responsibility to investegate and objectively report.  Constitutional Freedom of the Press does not allow us to censure our media and press, but we can certainly bring it to task by refusing to advertise in it and refusing to watch or subscribe to it.  And as far as I concerned, any firm that advertises in a media or press outlet that does not practice the investigation and dissemination of accurate facts and details should be boycotted.

A. Back in 2008, there was massive voter fraud across the country in many states and locales; all of that fraud was an overt attempt to get Obama elected.  I did not hear of a single episode of fraud directed at helping a Republican.  The polls are all indicating that this Presidential race is much, much tighter than the 2008 race.  I’m willing to bet my last dollar that there will be voter fraud and that it will again all be directed in Obama’s favor.  That alone tells you what kind of scum is trying to retain control of this country. Only we can do something about it… Tuesday.

A. Nailed it.  He unfortunately has no plans or objectives of his own except to continue his relentless march toward totally transforming America into a Marxist-Socialist country.  And if you get in his way, he’ll crush you.  What a guy!

A. This remark to a man who was the impetus behind admitting the first Black to membership in the Optimist Club of Las Vegas; this to a man who sponsored, mentored and trained the first Black casino host; this to a man who loves, teaches and supports Native Americans in every possible way; this to a man who knows no color, no creed other than the color and creed of humanity; and this to a man who despises our President for what he is and represents just as much as he despised Jimmy Carter, a white President.  What would call a Black who feels the same way about our President as I do?  How small-minded can liberals possibly get?  They shout with stinging, biting and empty epithets because they cannot justify their positions through wisdom, knowledge and reason.  How sad... how sad indeed.

BENGHAZI’S TROUBLED WATERS BOIL

News came out yesterday that Ambassador Stevens personally called for help during the Benghazi attack.  The call was made to Gregory Hicks, the Deputy Chief of Mission in Tripoli, who immediately notified Washington DC to trigger all the mechanisms that need to be put in place in such events.  A decision was made “at the highest levels of our government” not to convene the official Counter-Terrorism Security Group which would normally immediately step in, assess the situation and start the process of response.  And, contrary to what has been said in the past, Secretary of State Clinton called the FBI on the night of the attack.  Finally, it appears that the Libyan government itself was at least complicit in the attack, may have provided reconnaissance to the terrorists and actually turned down requests from the Consulate for help.    

COMMENTS:

Every day brings more revelations that prove the whitewash and ensuing stonewalling.  I've been wondering if Obama called the Libyan President that night and am now suspecting that he did and got flipped the finger.  This whole massacre has been compartmentalized, covered up and centralized into one White House office of control to the extent that no one can do anything with respect to the issue without White House consent.  But White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is right on top of things; yesterday, he said “We’re investigating.” That's the same thing he said the day after the attack.  Remember all of this when you step into the election booth.

Q. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about electronic voting machines.  Have they improved the technology?  (Jodi ~ Simi Valley, CA)

A. Not really.  As a matter of fact, many states have gone back to the paper ballots and others are backing their electronic systems up with paper copies.  Paper ballots can still be scanned and if there is a dispute, easily recounted.  I think a good portion of the problem is the multitude of voters, many of which have never used a computer.  And, of course, there are those left-wing liberals who keep trying to vote three or four times while still in the booth...

Q. I see New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is endorsing Obama.  Any comments?  (Moses ~ Redding, CA)

A. Bloomer is a dolt.  He believes he has the God given power to command what you can eat and drink. And, by the way, so does Michelle Obama.   

Q. They sure blamed Bush during the Kristina aftermath.  Do you think they’ll blame Obama during the Sandy cleanup?  (Luther ~ Houston, TX)

A. No, they’ll continue to blame Bush.  In their eyes, no liberal Democrat can make a mistake.  Of course, the real answer here is that FEMA is a gigantic bureaucratic organization that has trouble getting its fanny in gear.  They should be limited to the provision of quick funding to help states and local governments deal with such a crisis.  There has already been, admittedly, lack of proper communication between the Feds and those on the ground.

BENGHAZI MYSTERIES SURVIVE SANDY

If the Pentagon and State Department stance is that it would take too long to get military aircraft into Libya to do any good, how did at least two drones get there within an hour or two at the most?  They captured one suspect and he is in Tunisia, but the Tunisians won’t release him and won’t allow us to interrogate him; the reason is that the Obama Administration has no clear policy as to whether he goes to Guantanamo to be dealt with as a terrorist or to a U.S. prison to be tried under criminal law.  Obama has finally said again that he is really offended that anyone would think he is covering anything up.    

COMMENTS:

This has been a stonewalled cover-up from the moment word came down that Benghazi was under attack, through the ensuing two weeks where Obama insisted this was a matter of a video gone bad, through withholding of information that could shed light on the massacre and right on up to today when differing accounts continue to come out. I don’t care if he is offended or not, we want the facts; we want to know what in the hell happened.  And we want to know why this was covered up.  We have every American right to know and it is we who are rightfully offended.

A. The United States, for one.  Japan, the bastion of finance for many years, is in serious trouble. Its prime minister and legislature are in lock heads over their debt limit.  Maybe Obama can fix it? 

Q. Since we’re in a process of pulling out of Afghanistan, will they be back to growing poppies and producing opium?  (Emanuel ~ Little Rock, AR)

A. Opium poppies have been the bulwark of the Afghanistan economy for many, many decades and neither the Soviet Union nor the U.S. was able to establish a new economic substitute.  Now that the Obama Administration has set a firm timeline for the withdrawal of U.S. troops, the Taliban is aggressively jacking up the production and Al Qaeda has been surveying the countryside getting ready to set up new terrorist training camps.   

Q. We’re down to the final week before the elections and Obama has not yet struck Israel or gone after the terrorists to blame for the Benghazi massacre.  Are you still predicting an Obama military action before the election?  (Mariana ~ Elko, NV)

A. Yes. He’s desperate.  He senses that all of the wheels are coming off and he doesn’t know what to do about it.
