OBAMA’S IMMIGRATION DICTATE ALLOWS CRIMINALS TO STAY

The new ruling by Obama that some illegals can stay and get work permits allows for those convicted of misdemeanors to also stay; only those convicted of felonies and major crimes don’t qualify.  Those who pass bad checks and are convicted of petty larceny, for example, can stay.

I also presume that if I were the child of an illegal who was brought here before the age of 16, and I lived here until I was 30 and returned to Mexico, I could come back to the United States legally at the age of 40.  Maybe his highness will soon enact an addendum stating that those who are allowed to stay have preference in hiring?  This whole thing stinks worse than a ton of dead fish.  I’ll say it again; he usurped the power of Congress and he has admitted that he had no power to do it.

A.  One Massachusetts town is considering the adoption of a law that would make swearing a civil offense, punishable by a $20 fine.  The politicians who are thinking up these asinine laws should be fired.  Then, they should abolish those positions because the incumbents obviously have too much time on their hands or they couldn’t even begin to dream these things up.   

Q. When are they going to release that “startling new evidence” about Obama’s birth certificate they promised a few weeks ago?  (Karyn ~ Jackson, WY)

A. I don’t know, but the lead investigator for Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s foray into the Hawaiian birth records is reporting that, at the time of Obama’s birth it was common practice for parents of children born in other countries to purchase Hawaiian birth certificates.  So, even if a “legitimate” one turned up, you'd have to question its authenticity.

BAD ECONOMIC SIGNS AGAIN

REUTERS reports that factory output contracted in May for the second time in three months and families took a dimmer view of their economic prospects in early June, signs that the economy's recovery is on shaky ground.  "It's more convincing evidence that the economy is stuck in low gear," said Joe Manimbo, a market analyst at Travelex Global Business Payments.

A. The budget deficit dramatically widened in May; spending jumped 31.3 percent from the same month a year ago.  Overall, the deficit is approaching $1 trillion for a fourth straight year although the government is collecting more tax revenue than last year.  Obama just can’t stop spending.

A. A good portion of the bailout package ended up benefiting the United Auto Workers union.  The Treasury Department estimates that taxpayers will lose $23 billion on the auto bailout.  That’s chump change; you contribute that much every Sunday in the church plate, don’t you?

A.  Yip.  In Massapequa Park, New York, the Massapequa Park village board unanimously passed a law imposing fines and even jail time on homeowners who don't keep up their properties, Massapequa Patch reports. Aside from not mowing the lawn, eyesores including full dumpsters, broken gutters, excessive litter, boarded-up doors and windows, unattended shopping carts and graffiti can land homeowners in hot water. ... You know, outside of zoning laws and CC&R’s, people have the right to “quiet enjoyment” of their property, free from some goofball bureaucrat deciding that your grass is too tall.

WHITE HOUSE LEAKS COVER-UP ESCALATES

As the day closed yesterday, the story leaked out about the two Justice Department prosecutors who Eric Holder has appointed to investigate the source of classified leaks at the White House.  Allegations continue that the two were put in place to obfuscate and to cover up the facts.  Now, it appears that at least one of the two prosecutors named, Ronald Machen, was directly appointed to his job by Barack Hussein Obama and that he also donated heavily to Obama’s campaign; this news places him firmly in the Obama camp with a vested interest in protecting the President politically. 

COMMENTS:

Blatant corruption abounds in the White House, with Obama and Holder essentially saying to Americans: “Up yours! What are you going to do about it?”

A. At what point is someone a Native American?  Born here?  Family here 100 years?  200?  300?  My ancestors on both sides of my lineage were here in the mid 1600’s.  I claim to be a Native American and Warren might have won the argument on that point.  But, when she was questioned by opponents, she copped the plea and stumbled around about some prior and distant relative had an Indian name and was thought to be Native American Indian.  So, her intent was to claim she might be related to Pocahontas? What else would she stretch the truth about?  Besides, who gives a hoot if she is Native American Indian or not; what did she have to gain by that?  This is somewhat akin to claiming you are an indirect descendant of Thomas Jefferson, and are therefore part Black.

A. Obama continues to blame the Bush Administration for today’s economic woes.  The average American knows that policies of the Obama regime have made the economic crisis worse and have slowed or even stymied any recovery.  “He is responsible for the debt run-up on his watch.” “It is fine for him to try and blame it on President Bush or a Japanese tsunami, or on ATM. But it makes him look weak, and the American people are not that dumb!”  I agree; we’re not.

STAUNCH DEMOCRAT STRATEGIST LASHES OUT AT OBAMA

James Carville, a top Democratic Party strategist who was solidly behind the Clintons and Obama when he ran for his first term, has now come out to warn Obama against touting economic growth during his presidency.  He warns that Obama’s strategy is "wrong" and "will fail," according to The Daily Caller. Carville told ABC it creates a sense that Obama is out of touch with reality.

COMMENTS:

As glad as I am to see Carville come to grips with reality, he’s wrong again.  Obama is not out of touch with reality. He’s an avowed Marxist and he has his agenda.  We must recognize that and react accordingly.

A. After the 9^th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the appellants did not have the legal standing to sue on the case, the Supreme Court Monday refused to hear the matter; the ruling stands.  So, they managed to shuck and duck the real question on the basis of a legal technicality.   

Q. Yesterday you predicted that Holder would continue to stonewall on the Fast and Furious investigation, but it now appears he might cooperate.  What do you say to that?  (Freddy ~ Sterling Heights, MI)

A. I did not predict that he was going to continue to stonewall, but I did say that he might and I laid out a timeline for things if he did.  Let me be quick to say that, should you think Holder is going to roll over and provide everything the Congress wants, you are going to be severely disappointed. If he gives anything, look for him to eke it out in dribbles and redacted documents in order to drag the scenario out as long as possible.  And no, he won’t resign and Obama won’t fire him because, he’s Obama’s front-line of defense.    

Q. How is Glenn Beck doing these days?  (Felicia ~ Forks, WA)

A. He just signed a $100 million radio contract.  "The Glenn Beck" program currently airs on 400 stations and is the third most popular radio show in the United States behind those of fellow conservative commentators, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Frankly, I like the guy, but I do not like his radio show.

HOLDER REFUSES CONGRESSIONAL REQUESTS TO NAME SPECIAL COUNSEL IN WHITE HOUSE LEAKS CASE

At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sens. Lindsey Graham and Chuck Grassley said they want the Attorney General to appoint a special counsel to look into the leaks, rather than Holder's choices, U.S. Attorneys Ron Machen and Rod Rosenstein, who hold political appointments.  Holder said the two political-appointee Justice Department lawyers he put in charge of the investigation will do just fine.  (Thanks to NEWSMAX).

Q. What would be the timeline on Holder’s Contempt of Congress stuff, if it happens?  (Greta ~ Liberty – KS)

A. There is the assumption that Holder will cave in and give up documents before any Contempt citation is issued; that has historically been the case.  However, I suspect that the documents will point straight to the White House in the Fast & Furious matter and we are in an election cycle.  So, I think Holder may well continue to stonewall.  The committee hearing is June 20^th, a Wednesday, so I presume two days of testimony and arguments and out of committee on Friday the 22^nd to the floor of the House.  The House will want several days to handle other business; I doubt the House will hear it until July, maybe the week of the 9^th.  If they start on Wednesday the 11^th, have hearings and vote, it’s July 13^th and they charge Holder with contempt.  But, I believe he has the opportunity for rebuttal and to show why he should not be held in contempt.   They’d have to give him 30 days to prepare, you have Congress’ summer vacation ending September 10^th, and then you’d have hearings starting the 12^th at the earliest.  We might have the actual Contempt decision issued on the 14^th, and Holder would then appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.  Now, it’s on total hold until sometime next year and has no effect on the November elections. 

Q. What’s the latest about Casey Anthony?  (Theresa ~ Ogden, UT)

A. She’s been reading a book, “THE HUNGER GAMES” about killing young children, and claims she is ashamed about many of the things she has done.  She also complains about the “hell” the nation put her through.  No mention of missing Caley. 

Q. I understand that we are discontinuing “Made in America” labels.   Why?  (Denise ~ Folsom, CA)  

A. The World Trade Organization says we need to “reduce public opposition to free trade” and “re-engineer global governance.”  Approved labels will now read “Made in the World.”  Now, isn't that just so sweet?  Is this a prelude to a world government?
