ACORN REMNANTS TO GET $500 MILLION TO POLICE HEALTH CARE PLAN

Community organizations, many of which are former ACORN units with a new shell and a new name, are being handed $500 million of taxpayer money to police the health care industry.

COMMENTS:
Don’t forget that Obama’s roots are as an attorney for ACORN.  This smacks of another political payoff and I won’t be surprised to see these organizations out there on the streets stumping for Obama’s reelection.  We should be outraged; this is more money than they actually “saved” in the 2011 budget cuts.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  You said that Obama is going to have a $1 billion campaign fund arranged by George Soros and his cronies.  What can he possibly do in a campaign with that kind of money? (Cy ~ Brooklyn, NY)
A.  That’s just the Soros money; he’ll probably raise another $500 or $600 million through “offshore” donations such as the ones he got from Middle Eastern countries in the 2008 elections.  In case you forgot, the Federal Elections Commission decided, after he was inaugurated, not to investigate that matter.  The money can buy enough TV ads to put his mug on every TV show on every channel for a whole year.  Isn’t that exciting?  He’s going to get into your face, really good.

Q.  I saw yesterday that Wal-Mart is starting a “back to basics” program.  What’s that all about?  (Dennis ~ Santa Ana, CA)
A.  Back to the old adage, “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.”  There they were, making tons of money, and some brilliant managers and accountants decided to try and squeeze even more profit out of it.  They changed merchandise and prices, and they even reduced inventories to bare minimums so that stores were running out of merchandise more often.  You know, if you reduce inventories, you reduce costs and the customer be damned; "He’ll come back anyway because we’re Wal-Mart."  Well, after seven quarters of plunging revenues when even the illegal aliens quit shopping there, they finally got the picture and they are returning previous merchandise lines, dropping prices and increasing inventories.  But, their cavalier attitude toward the customer ticked me off, and I switched to K-Mart.  If they start offering “Blue Light Specials,” maybe I’ll go back.

Q.  Inflation is really taking off, but we still have high unemployment and a bad economy.  What’s going to happen?  (Shasta ~ Butte, MT)
A.  It doesn’t really sound too good, does it?  This could well turn into a national tragedy of much worse proportions.  Maybe this is a good time to move to Canada.  Should we just let the illegal Mexicans move all of the way in and take the country over?  As bad as things are, they could get worse; Obama could get reelected.

OBAMA’S BUDGET GETS A BIG BOO

President Obama revealed his proposed FY2012 Budget Wednesday that lines up to about $14 trillion in cuts over the next 12 years.  It has since been castigated with surprise by pundits from both sides of the political fence.  In the meantime, the House has passed Paul Ryan’s budget cuts of $6.2 trillion over 10 years along strict party lines.

COMMENTS:
Why anyone should be surprised, I don’t know.  Obama has made it clear he doesn’t want his illustrious health care plan touched in any way.  He’s participated in chicanery about this subject and every other important subject since the day he was born, if he was ever born that is.  I will say this: the FY 2011 budget cut started off being $100 billion and ended up being $353 million.  If Obama thinks he’s going to turn $6.2 trillion into $21 billion, he literally will be tarred and feathered before being run out of the country on a rail.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  What’s your opinion of the sleeping FAA Controller issue?  (Lars ~ Truckee, CA)
A.  I’d rather have a sleeping controller than a sleeping pilot.

Q.  Will hybrid cars really save us energy?  (Nancy ~ Coeur d’Alene, ID)
A.  No.  It’s a farce.  It takes energy to make methanol, electricity, bio-diesel and hydrogen, as well as energy to drill for and transport natural gas.  It’s like daylight savings time; you don’t save a damned thing.  Now, if you have a Congressman as a passenger, you can get your natural gas for free.

Q.  I hear ABC is cancelling soap operas.  How come?  (Walt ~ Kerrville, TX)
A.  Nobody’s watching.  All of the women in the country are busy driving around, texting each other and doing their makeup.

MEXICAN VIOLENCE WORSENS

Several locations with mass graves have been discovered.  Many Americans have disappeared.  Arizona is a sitting duck, with Phoenix now being the drug capital of the United States; the courts have ruled that Arizona basically can’t do anything about it.  Mexican drug killings have occurred in Los Angeles, Tucson, El Paso, San Diego, Albuquerque and other border cities.

COMMENTS:
We just talked about this subject a few days ago.  The situation is that more people are killed in Mexico due to drug violence than are killed in Afghanistan due to war.  Obama and his sidekicks, Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder, are impotent.  Congress is too busy calling each other names to deal with it.  We desperately need to vote Washington out in 2012… every last one of them.  Our country is failing us.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  Today is Good Friday and they have moved the income tax deadline to Monday the 18th.  I thought the ACLU and left-liberals had arranged to keep religion out of government.  (Sheila ~ Las Cruces, NM)
A.  They moved it not because of Good Friday, but because of Easter; they all want to lay another egg.

Q.  Why are you always picking on Obama?  (Marlo ~ Richmond, CA)
A.  Because he is either incompetent or dishonorable and, therefore, is unfit to be President of the United States.

Q.  Why do people end up being serial killers?  (Warren ~ Cottonwood, CA)
A.  I’ve heard a lot of theories and I don’t know that any one of them is predominant.  Personally, I think it’s because they had too many Cheerios and Wheaties as kids.

OBAMA’S $4 TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT REDUCTION TRICKERY

President Obama told us yesterday that he wants to trim $4 trillion off the deficit over 12 years.  He advocates that 25% of this, $1 trillion, comes from tax increases.  The Republicans want $6.1 trillion in ten years without tax increases.

COMMENTS:
First of all, he is the donkey who sold us on $38 million in budget cuts for 2011 when $19 billion of that was already in the bank, so it was just one big lie and another “smoke and mirrors” attack on American intelligence.  He’s going to end Bush tax cuts, something he’s been trying to do for over two years.  He then tallies up his “cuts:” $770 billion discretionary, $400 billion defense, $480 billion Medicare and Medicaid, $360 billion other mandatory programs.  That all tallies up to $3 trillion counting the tax increase.  So, his fuzzy math is out in front of us from day one.  Keep in mind that he fired his own debt reduction committee.  I’m sorry, but the only way I can put this is that this stupid bastard thinks we are all stupid.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  I am so sick and tired of all of these damned telephone calls from fundraisers.  It used to be sales people, but that has slacked off with the “do not call” registry.  Charities must not be obliged to follow that law.  The other day, I got a telephone call from an Autism charity; I told them to take me off their list and not to call again.  Not ten minutes later, they called back.  Thus is pure harassment.  (Marty ~ Albuquerque, NM)
A.  I agree, wholeheartedly.  I guess we need to start calling our senators and representatives and fight fire with fire.

Q.  I read in the MINUTEMAN PAC that White House regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein; his wife Samantha Power, Senior Director of the National Security Council; and Department of Justice Attorney General Eric Holder are key players in a plot to dismantle and destroy America's Constitutional republic.  (Angie ~ Scottsdale, AZ)
A.  A word of caution.  The Internet plays host to a whole gamut of ideologies and thoughts.  There is a lot of hype and exaggeration out there.  I do not necessarily trust this particular organization but, where there’s smoke there is usually fire.

Q.  I am so worried about the number of Muslims in this country and what it could mean for us if they decide to have a “Jihad.”  What can we do?  (Lynnette ~ Redding, CA)
A.  I am sympathetic to your concern.  It’s against the law in this country to discriminate.  If they gain citizenship, we can’t throw them out.  I believe every American should get a gun and get training in how to use it and store it.  More and more Americans are doing so and, as a side benefit, violent crime in this country has been in a steep decline ever since we started to arm ourselves.  God forbid the day should ever come when we have to use them, but we need to be armed.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.” ~ Thomas Jefferson

OBAMA POKES FUN AT RISING GAS PRICES

President Obama has gone on the road to tell Americans that they should delight in high gas prices.  Last week, he told workers at a plant in Pennsylvania they had better trade in their old clunkers with a new car.  "If you're complaining about the price of gas and you're only getting eight miles a gallon, you know," Obama quipped, "You might want to think about a trade-in."  He says that families with ten or more kids, or those who drive big SUV’s, need to have their heads examined.

COMMENTS:
Every time he opens his mouth, he drives another nail into his coffin of ignorance.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  I see that Japan has finally admitted its nuclear catastrophe is as bad as Chernobyl.  How close are they to getting a grip on it?  (Arlo ~ White Sands, NM)
A.  Not very close.  They have had several major quakes in recent days.  They are still trying to find out where the water is leaking from to the ocean and other radiation continues to leak into the air.  There is still the possibility of a full meltdown.  Nuclear experts from the U.S. have finally been allowed to help, but efforts to stop the problems have slowed almost to a standstill.

Q.  The news about all of the mass graves in Mexico near our border is shocking.  The drug violence has been spilling over into the U.S. and a lot of Americans who have gone to Mexico are now missing.  When are we going to do something about it?  (Bill ~ Redding, CA)
A.  Right after Obama gets reelected.  Really, that’s probably what he’s going to say.  All kidding aside, the situation is pathetic and we are to blame.  The security of our nation is being threatened right next door, and our President has a sworn duty under oath to do something about it.  Now, the courts are virtually saying that the illegals can do whatever they want in Arizona and Arizona has no recourse; it’s a Federal problem and theFeds WON’T step up to the plate and do their job.

Q.  NEWSMAX did a poll the other day that shows Trump beating Obama 68% to 13%.  It also shows him leaving other Republican hopefuls biting dust.  What do you think about that?  (Vic ~ Reseda, CA)
A.  I don’t know how the poll was conducted, but you have to remember that NEWSMAX is a very right-oriented publication.  But, I would not be surprised if the results were indicative of the truth.  Obama is by far the worst President this country has ever had; even Jimmy Carter could beat him at the polls.  As far as Trump being ahead of other Republicans, I sure as hell hope he is ahead of Mitt Romney.  I actually think he has a good start, a good chance and will make a good President.  Besides, he has a birth certificate.

GBAGBO IS OUT

In the civil war that has never been reported, Laurent Gbagbo, the strongman holdover would-be dictator of Cote d’Ivoire has been captured by forces loyal to legitimate elected President Alassane Quattara.  Conflicting reports say the French or the U.N. forces got him.

COMMENTS:
This conflict has been going on in the Ivory Coast since the November elections when Gbagbo lost and refused to step down.  It happened before Tunisia, or Egypt or the other events in the Middle East, but has not been reported.  Gbagbo loyalists continue to fight, but officials are hopeful they will stop as news of the arrest spreads.  One can only wonder what would happen in the U.S. if Obama refused to step down after losing in 2012.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  The Democrats have a valid point: Why were we risking closing down the government over a budget deal?  (Lila ~ Crawford, TX)
A.  Because we’re in serious and imminent danger of default on our national debt and nobody wants to do anything about it.  If that happens, our government will close essential services for years and we’ll all be speaking Chinese.  If the Democrats were Americans, they’d be rolling up their sleeves and working with the rest of the nation on these issues, as opposed to resorting to childish name calling, idle threats and tantrums.

Q.  All of the baby boomers are reaching retirement age and draining Social Security.  That’s not fair to the rest of us.  (Spike ~ Sacramento, CA)
A.  That’s the way the world seems to be treating America’s senior citizens, as if we are the enemy.  We’re the ones who built this nation into what it is and you are the ones who want to piss it away.

Q.  I heard yesterday that gas sales are down.  Are we heading for another recession?  (Paula ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A.  We’re still in a recession.  The cards were ready to fall back in 2008 and it was the rising price of gas that brought them all down.  In a lot of ways, many of the cards may be back in place but they are ready to fall again and the price of gas is rising.  This time, inflation in general is also setting in, with higher food prices hitting every pocketbook in the country.  It could get really nasty.  We need to understand that simply throwing taxpayer money at a problem does not make it go away.
