IRAN IS ASKING FOR IT

Iran has defied U.N. sanctions against conducting ballistic missile tests by conducting such a test Sunday near Semnan.

Maybe we should ask Barack to come back and enforce his tremendous “deal?”  I wonder what Russia would do if we one night simply eliminated Iran’s entire ballistic missile program.

A. As a sovereign nation, we have every right to control who comes into our country.  There is nothing in our Constitution that gives any foreigner rights in our country; they gain rights after becoming a citizen.  If we want to ban Muslims, or women, or gays, or dog owners… we can do that.  We can ban criminals, we can ban terrorists, we can ban freeloaders.  That having been said, there is nothing in Trump’s order that mentions Muslims; it only mentions people coming into our country from seven Middle Eastern countries.  I’ll be damned if I want any unvetted, uncleared Middle Eastern type moving into my neighborhood, and I frankly don’t give a hoot whether you like my stance or not. 

Q. What do you have to say about the Acting Attorney General, Sally Yates, refusing to defend Trump’s temporary ban on incoming travel from Middle Eastern countries?  (Ellen ~ Belmont, CA)

A. She needs to be fired, immediately.   Oh... she was?  

Q. I’m flatly amazed at all of the protests coming out against Trump immediately after his taking office.  I had no idea there were that many people out there with that much hatred in them.  (Alec ~ Farmington, NM)

A. Understand that protests all starting and occurring at the same time in numerous American cities is not a spontaneous happening; they were all organized in advance by a central organizing force… a force intent on forcing the country into more division and chaos.  And who would be behind such strategy with the money to do it?  Does the name George Soros ring a chime?

SOROS IS A DIRT BAG

Billionaire George Soros is funding the airport protests against Trump’s temporary ban on people coming from specified Middle East countries. 

COMMENTS:

Evidently, the protesters are being paid to be there.  I’m not surprised; most of them appear to me to be street bums, druggies and liberal zombies out to find a fast buck.  The point is, we need to stop the influx of people from those Middle Eastern countries until we find out who they are and what their intentions are.  We have enough potential terrorists in the country and we definitely don’t need any more.  By his actions, Soros is advocating for more terrorists to come here and for more civil unrest.  If he has a passport or a visa, it needs to be revoked.

A. On the surface, I’d be inclined to agree with you.  But, the Trump administration made no secret about their plans.  I’d almost be more suspicious of these travelers, as if they were trying to sneak in before the ban happened.  You have to ask yourself why. 

Q. They’re talking about defunding Planned Parenthood and I certainly agree with that.  But why would they want to defund NPR?  (Stu ~ Federal Way, WA)

A. NPR was originally founded as a venue for National Arts and objective news.  It has morphed into being nothing more than a propaganda arm of the radical left and the Democrat Party.  Why should you and I pay for that trash?

A. As they say, anything is possible.  But, they’d have to pay the Federal government back for all of its investments in California, such as highways, dams, military bases and free cellphones for the poor.  I don’t think California can cough up that kind of money.

END TO OBAMA’S “AMNESTY”

President Trump is about to sign a new Executive Order trashing Obama’s 2014 E.O. creating “Executive Amnesty” for illegal aliens.  He will be creating a new amnesty program as follows: (1) will give illegal immigrants who have been in the United States for at least five years, and who are parents of U.S. citizens or legal residents, a three year work permit. This permit will also allow them to obtain a Social Security number and get a driver's license. Approximately 3.5 million current illegal immigrants will qualify for this program.  (2) Trump is also expanding the existing Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals amnesty program. Previously only those illegal immigrants who were born before 1981 and entered the U.S. as a minor before 2007 were eligible for benefits. Now all illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. as a minor before 2010 will be eligible for amnesty. Like the parents above, DACA recipients will also get work permits, Social Security numbers, and driver's licenses. Approximately 235,000 illegal immigrants will gain eligibility for benefits through this program expansion.

COMMENTS:

This is a good step in the right direction; however, we still have miles to go.

A. The same place President Donald J. Trump gets the right to say “America First.”  Every nation has the right to put itself first.  How nations behave with each other in the world realm is a matter of accommodation, negotiation, compromise and sometimes war.

A. They did not resign; they were fired.  They covered for Clinton and manipulated the facts on virtually everything Obama wanted manipulated.  No true American would take the actions they did.

MISSING WOMAN FOUND ALIVE

Laura Lynne Stacey, a 28-year-old woman who had been missing in Southern California since Sunday, was found yesterday walking alongside a freeway.  She had evidently left her car in stormy weather, leaving behind a blanket and food after dropping her cellphone into a puddle of water. 

COMMENTS:

At this point, you know as much as I do.  I think we can both agree that this attractive young girl had no legitimate reason for leaving her car; she was much, much safer in it, even if it was disabled.  She was out in the wide open, without a weapon; surely she was bait for kidnappers in the sex trade, for random rapists… any number of horrible things could have happened to her.  No one, especially an attractive young woman, has any business being out and about and alone in this day and age, regardless of what they are doing at the time.  At least in the car, she had a barrier between her and danger, and it would just be a matter of time before a law enforcement officer would come to investigate as to why the car was there on the side of the road.

A. I think it’s a great idea, but I don’t know that it would work for individual state elections; states have States’ rights under the Constitution and would want to have their own identification.  One thing I do believe is that I.D. should be required to vote in any election. 

Q. I’m sure Trump knows who he’s going to pick for the Supreme Court slot.  Why all of the delay drama; why doesn’t he simply announce whoever it is?  (Gerry ~ Citrus Heights, CA)

A. There are logistics to be completed and he wants to be certain the person will be passed by the Senate and seen as favorable by the American Bar Association.

COMEY STAYS ON?

President Trump has decided that FBI Director James Comey will keep his job… at least for now. 

COMMENTS:

Now, that’s the surprise of the year; like the rest of us, Democrat and Republican alike, Comey demonstrated that he was nothing more than a political hack and/or that he didn’t have a full appreciation for the tasks at hand in the Clinton Email investigations.  Even Trump spoke harshly about him.  So, this is my first major disagreement with Trump since he took the oath; I don’t think Comey would pass the tests for being a basic recruit in most law enforcement agencies, and I don’t think his own agents think much better of him than that.

The idiot made such a fool out of himself during the primaries that his only hope for a political future is to grandstand; yet, in doing so, he’s made an even bigger fool out of himself.  He would have been so much better off to have shown a little humility, maybe keep his mouth shut and lie low for 20 or 30 decades.

A. He did it because he is a Muslim in his heart and he wanted to crap on Netanyahu and Israel one last time.  Yes, his failure to uphold the laws could and should be considered treasonous, but he did illegal things on a daily basis and was never called to task for it.  We have a long way to go before we start acting like a civilized society again…
