I.R.S. TARGETS RELIGIONS

At the behest of atheist organizations, the I.R.S. has readily and willingly been targeting various religious groups looking for any utterances by church members or leaders that might possibly be construed as “political speech” so that their tax exempt status can be removed. 

COMMENTS:

It should be patently obvious to the nation that the I.R.S. is not simply a benign tax collecting organization.  It is in and of itself a mini-government within a government… a political tool of the President and a powerful governmental agency running rampantly roughshod over the nation.

A. I don’t think he cares.  In his mind, he is the omnipotent one and we are the peasants.  We don’t know beans about running a country and he does, so what we think is immaterial.  He is hell bent on saving us from ourselves.  God save the King. 

Q. Why is Harry Reid being relatively quiet lately?  (Al ~ Hurricane, UT)

A. Harry is always quiet when something bad is brewing.  You’ll notice that he quieted down not long after the Cliven Bundy Ranch episode when it came out that his son was heavily involved in a Chinese effort to buy that land and that Reid himself was somehow involved in the background, pushing BLM to force Bundy to pack up and leave. So, he’s just a typical Democrat blow-hard now waiting for things to blow over.  

Q. What is your opinion of President Obama’s press conference [yesterday?] 

A. It is nice to see a few more journalists finally asking some pointed questions.  I heard at least two of them, but then again he had a bunch of foreign journalists in the room.  In reality, nothing Obama says anymore about anything means spit.  He is a pernicious and persistent fabricator of fiction.

HOUSE DEMO DECLARES BENGHAZI “OVER AND DONE WITH”

The second-ranking Democrat on the House Committee investigating the Benghazi Massacre has proclaimed President Obama to be innocent of any wrongdoing. 

COMMENTS:

Isn’t that sweet?  Mike Thompson of St. Helena, California will undoubtedly get an invitation to Nancy Pelosi’s summer barbeque and a significant campaign transfusion from Obama.  He should be graduated to the top of the list of people who need to be replaced in November.

Q. What’s with this “Do Not Call” list?  I keep getting robo calls and I’ve been reporting the violators.  (Tracy ~ Granada Hills, CA)

A. You’re gonna love this.  Marketers have been able to purchase a digital list of numbers not to call, which they’ve been loading up into their equipment and using to make calls. They know the numbers are working numbers!  The Government isn’t doing anything about all of the complaints they’ve been getting because they don’t have the staff or the money to do it.  So, how does it feel to be screwed by another wonderful government idea? 

Q. There’s a large group of retired generals pleading with Obama to research the history of American relations with Russia and Putin before he does anything else.  Do you think Obama will do that?  (Kenny ~ Sarasota, FL)

A. Obama doesn’t give a flying floozy about what any general thinks.  When you have the “God complex,” who cares what anybody thinks?  Experienced leaders, those who are good managers, know they need to listen to the input of their subordinates.  And that, my friend, is the crux of the problem with Obama's endless problems. 

Q. I have a friend who has been battling the ObamaCare maze for months.  Covered California told her she was qualified for Medi-Cal.  Medi-Cal told her she wasn’t qualified and to call Covered California.  After several months of this battle, she finally got cleared and signed up with Covered California but the insurance company kept telling her she was NOT signed up.  What in the hell is going on here?  I thought ObamaCare was all cleared up?  (Jordy ~ Wendover, NV)

A. Have no worry.  Obama says it’s all cleared up and working great, so it is.  The problems your friend is having must be in her imagination.  Obama is cool, man, cool.

MORE TERRORISTS CROSSING MEXICAN BORDER

(Just a side note: I still sit in Burney with fire all around me and the danger has not decreased.  Current fire lines are, however, holding the fire.) 

Texas Governor Rick Perry has announced the thrust of his deployment of the National Guard to the border is his concern that more terrorists are crossing into the U.S. than ever before.  “It hasn’t got anything to do with anything other than those numbers of individuals who are coming across the border,” he said. “And when you think about the idea that some of them are from countries that have substantial terrorist ties – whether it’s Pakistan or Afghanistan or Syria, we are at historic record highs with individuals being apprehended from those countries.” 

COMMENTS:

I have reported on prior blog posts that terrorist propaganda has been found along the trails used to sneak into the U.S.  This is very serious business, especially with this President; if terrorists start bombing the countryside, I doubt you can drag him off the golf course long enough to do anything about it.

Q. I hear that the ObamaCare website cost is approaching $1 billion and it still doesn’t work right.  I’ll bet Bill Gates and his friends working out of Gates’ garage could have done a better job of it for under $1,000.  (Mal ~ Yreka, CA)

A. The front end doesn’t talk to the back end yet, either, which means they’re probably another $200 or $300 million away from being able to bill the insurance companies.  Thousands of people who signed up for ObamaCare and got I.D. cards are not yet registered in the system so they can get treatments.  Remember all of this and remember who voted FOR ObamaCare in Congress when you step into the voting booth this November. 

Q. Do you believe President Clinton when he says he had Bin Laden in his crosshairs and decided not to pull the trigger?  (Myrna ~ The Dalles, OR)

A. Can you imagine having the guts to brag about that?  The next thing you know, he’s going to be claiming he helped Al Gore invent the Internet.     

Q. I understand that the story about Obama talking down to Netanyahu in a heated telephone call has been proven to be a phony.  Now we hear that Netanyahu basically told Kerry to keep his nose out of Israel’s business.  Is there any truth to that?  (Begay ~ Gallup, NM)

A. When asked about it, Netanyahu did not deny it.  Kerry so desperately wants a credible Middle East victory to use as a platform for a Presidential bid in 2016 that I doubt he paid any attention to what Netanyahu said.

FIRE DANGER

Due to being glued to the tube, scanner and computer trying to keep track of a huge fire which is threatening Burney and surrounding area, including my house, there is no post today.  As of post time, the fire was halfway up Mt. Burney on the east side and spread to Highway 89.  The community of Burney is under fire watch, and the communities of Johnson Park, Cassel and Big Eddie Estates are under mandatory evacuation. 

HEAT TURNED UP ON FAST & FURIOUS?

A Federal Judge has ordered the Department of Justice to provide a list of all documents being withheld in the Fast & Furious investigation under the claim of Executive Privilege.  The gun- running scandal began back in October of 2009 and resulted in a Congressional showdown with Eric Holder when the House held him in contempt for refusing to turn over documents pertaining to the matter; Obama intervened by invoking Executive Privilege and since that time the Department of Justice has steadfastly refused to provide even a list of documents withheld.  Judicial Watch intervened with a FOIA request, (Freedom of Information Act), and the DOJ asked for an indefinite hold on providing any documents, which was shot down by the Judge in that case.  The Court is currently ruling that the DOJ must provide a detailed listing of all documents being withheld, including the statutory exemption claimed on each document and an explanation as to how the release of each document would damage the interests of the claimed exemption.

  

COMMENTS:

Now, don’t get excited.  Obama has a little over two years left in office.  If he stonewalls, he can drag things on out in this Court for at least 18 months.  Then, he can appeal to the next highest Court.  On and on we go, where we’ll end nobody knows.  I think both he and Obama will be collecting what is left of Social Security before we get the list.

A. Five or six hundred will end up in the Karnes City Detention Center with flat-screen TV in each “suite,” private landline telephones, a soccer field, ping pong tables and a weight room, all along with three square meals a day and health care.  If memory serves me correctly, homeless veterans and the poor of this country don’t get even close to that, even if they are related to Obama.

A. Jerry Brown, John Kerry, Joe Biden, Andrew Cuomo, Elizabeth Warren, Michael Bloomberg, Michelle Obama and Sandra Fluke.  Honorable mention goes to Maxine Waters.

A. Yes.  He knows that whoever controls the Internet controls banks, communications and even governments.  Word has it, he also likes porn.

IN THE RING: OBAMA VS. NETANYAHU

The news being bounced around Megyn Kelly’s FOX NEWS studio Wednesday night and elsewhere in the media is that Netanyahu and Obama were having a telephone call during which Obama “put the muscle” on Netanyahu, warning him to stop his attacks or Hamas “or else.”  At least one purported transcript of the conversation has been circulating, but both Obama and Netanyahu deny the conversation took place, at least as it is represented in the “transcript.”  The jury is still out as to the authenticity of the document. 

 

COMMENTS:

The fact is, none of us will be surprised if it turns out to be true; we all know there is no love between them.  But, it seems lately as if Obama despises Netanyahu.  He certainly does not like anyone who stands up and tells the truth or who refuses to do as he orders.  The Administration continues to funnel money to Palestine, which in turn ends up in the hands of Hamas.  The Obama team seems to be intent on issuing daily notices that Israel needs to back off.  For us to be treating Israel like this is somewhat akin to Hitler’s position before the holocaust, but then again, everything Obama does reminds me of the days before Hitler took command of the Nazi regime.

A. We all know that Obama has committed serious and impeachable offenses.  Saying now that we’re not going to impeach Obama is like telling Putin we won’t use military intervention in the Ukraine; it gives the wrongdoer full license to do whatever he wants because he knows no one is going to stop him.  As for the lawsuit?  That’s a total cop out.  That is the biggest “pass the buck” move the Republicans have made in decades.  They should damned well be proud of themselves... not.  

Q. I understand the Boston Police Commissioner wants total say-so over who can and cannot possess guns in Boston?  (Lad ~ Goleta, CA)

A. Correct.  He should go back to Nazi Germany where he belongs and he should take Nanny Bloomberg with him.

A. Quit acting like a poor, lazy, unfortunate, picked-on jiving black man and start acting like the President of the United States.
