OBAMA DUCKS WISCONSIN

Although he has been campaigning in neighboring states, Obama has deliberately avoided appearing in Wisconsin due to the fact that incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker is substantially ahead of challenger Mayor Tom Barrett in the state’s recall election. Obama does not want to show support and then be tainted by a probable Barrett loss.  Wisconsin’s Democratic Party and Labor Unions are ticked off to no end. 

COMMENTS:

Doesn’t anybody get it?  Obama cares only for himself.  When our ship of state goes down, he’ll be the very first one to jump ship, and he’ll be pointing the finger of blame on someone else the whole way down.

A. There hasn’t been much news because the news is bad.  With the U.S. out of Iraq, the government is falling apart at the seams.  The possibility of a national civil war is now a probability.  What’s worse is that Iran is now solidly in the picture, seeking to help Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki's Shiite-led government.  Good job there, Barack; here’s another war we fought with American lives lost… for naught.    

Q. I understand that Florida is being proactive in looking at its rolls of registered voters and purging those who are ineligible.  I also understand Holder and his cronies are livid.  What’s going to happen?  (Callie ~ Kanab, UT)

A. Florida is in defiance of objections from the U.S. Justice Department and county officials who say the policy violates two federal voting laws.  Florida officials have raised their estimate of potential fraudulent registrations to 180,000, consisting of illegals, blacks and Latinos.  I look for Holder to file an injunction in Federal Court and to tie the matter up in the legal system until the November election is over. 

Q. Besides the new book out calling Obama an “Amateur,” there’s another book that alleges there has been a whole lot of serious infighting in the Obama camp.  What’s your opinion?  (Karla ~ Fairfield, CA)

A. Whenever you put a bunch of snakes under the same roof, someone is going to get bit.

IS CNN DOWN THE TUBES?

Nielsen reports that CNN had its worst May in the ratings in over 20 years, and that it has lost over 50% of its viewing audience to Fox News and MSNBC.  CNN’s average audience in May fell to 388,000, with only 113,000 in the 25-54 age bracket that advertisers covet. Fox’s average was 1.65 million, and MSNBC’s was 658,000. 

COMMENTS:

MSNBC viewers are all from the Occupy America crowd, the left-wing loonies that prefer to ignore the facts and dream of an endless government handout.  CNN, like most of the mainstream media, has chosen to slant and editorialize its content whereas most Americans just want the facts, ma’am.  Somebody in this country needs to get back to being what freedom of the press epitomizes… telling the truth as it is.

The Republican Party is discovering that members are very disenchanted with the way they have been doing things for the last 20 years and the conservative base is very ticked off at the way the hierarchy shoved Mitt Romney down their throats.  Democrats in several key states are finding that the money is gravitating to their Republican opponents by as much as 4 to 1.  The whole damned country appears to be angry with the whole damned status quo.

A. Obama’s hatred for Israel continues.  He totally backs UNESCO, which the U.S. quit sending money to, and UNESCO has charged Israel with “systematic terrorism,” “throttling the people” of Gaza, pursuing “criminal” policies and a “policy of racist violence.” It also accused Israel of “operating a torture machine” and spreading propaganda to downplay the Palestinians’ plight. I don’t think there’s any Jewish vote remaining for Obama to salvage.

WW II VET BURIED IN CARDBOARD BOX

Lawrence Davis Jr. was buried in a cardboard box in Florida’s National Cemetery in November of 2004.  The discovery was made during routine cemetery maintenance.  The medical examiner sent Davis' remains in a cardboard box and they were buried in the same box.  Veterans Affairs manager Maurice Roan said, "We usually bury the container they come in as long as it's sealed. We make every effort to make sure they get a dignified burial." 

COMMENTS:

I guess the word “dignified” depends on who is saying it.  This explanation sounds like something Obama would say. Why they didn’t just haul the body off to the city dump is beyond me.

A. Yes.  GSA employees on a work-at-home program allegedly collected over $750,000 in travel pay in nine months, averaging $8,000 each.   

Q. Tens of thousands of people are losing their unemployment benefits.  Many of these have lost their cars, houses and families.  How bad is this going to get?  (Glenna ~ Reno, NV)

A. Within the next few months, half of the people currently drawing benefits are going to fall off the unemployment compensation rolls.  That, of course, means that the unemployment percentage will go down.  By Election Day, it could be down to 6% and we could still really have up to 20% of our labor force out of work or under-employed.  It is scary, isn’t it?

ANOTHER GUN SCANDAL

Federal prosecutors announced charges Friday against two Sacramento County sheriff's deputies accused of illegally selling dozens of weapons, some of which authorities say fell into the hands of criminals. The deputies were charged with serving as straw buyers by purchasing the restricted handguns; they then sold the handguns at a large profit to unqualified buyers through licensed dealers, prosecutors said. 

COMMENTS:

What’s the problem?  The Fast and Furious gun scandal involving then highest levels of Federal government sets the standard, doesn’t it?  Or does it?  What's fair for one is fair for all, right?  Make up your mind and vote accordingly in November.

A. The Judge got pounded by left-wing liberals who were ticked off that Zimmerman was out on bail.  He seized upon the opportunity to put Zimmerman back behind bars, although emerging changes of testimony point more and more toward Zimmerman's innocence.  This story is not about justice, it is about politics. 

Q. True to his historical past, Obama accepted no blame for the crappy jobs report out yesterday; he blamed Congress.  What role does Congress actually play in this scenario?  (Kylie ~ Oregon City, OR)

A. The House has passed several legislations aimed at creating jobs.  The Senate has flatly refused to discuss any of them.  It is a given that, if any meaningful legislation passed Congress, Obama would veto it.  The proposed jobs creation bills have all involved tax incentives for hiring and removing uncertainties, such as ObamaCare and FY2013 taxes from the equation.  For Obama to blame Congress, you must accept the fable that no effort has been made.  You must also remember that jobs are really created in the private sector as opposed to being created by government.  In other words, he is full of bullshit, pardon my Greek. 

Q. It is absolutely terrible to hear that workers at the 9/11 “ground zero” site are being denied healthcare or are being put through a ration of dung in order to get help.  What is wrong with our government?  (DeWitt ~ Fresno, CA)

A. There’s a $4.3 billion fund there to help these folks.  So far, none of the money has been disbursed, as claimants struggle to prove their presence at the toxic site in the days and weeks following the attacks, which released a toxic stew of deadly chemicals.  Get used to it; this is the precursor to what life will be like under ObamaCare. The wall of bureaucracy trumps the right to life.

COCA-COLA TAKES ON NEW YORK CITY

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is pushing laws to ban the sale of “sugary” soft drinks at delis and restaurants as a way to combat obesity.  Coca Cola is asking why American’s can’t make their own choices.

Here we go again; see the first question below.  I guess banning the sale of such soft drinks would prevent someone from just buying the meal and bringing their own soft drink?  If you ban the sale of alcoholic beverages in the city of New York, will that cure alcoholism or curtail drinking of alcoholic beverages, or will people just buy them in Newark and bring them in?  The stupidity of these left-wing nimble-witted politicians is pathetic.

As if you can’t buy TWO 16 ounce soft drinks as opposed to one 32 ounce big gulp?  How stupid is this idea?  I just watched some idiot say that the real way to control the gun problem in this country is to make all of the guns have a title to them.  If you have 20 guns, you have 20 titles.  I guess that means, no title and then you can’t own a gun?  In other words, today’s illegal gun owners will run down to city hall and get a title so they can keep their guns?  The robber or murderer won’t be able to use a gun unless he has a title to it?  It’s bad enough that these knuckleheads come up with these lame-brained ideas; it’s understandable to think they are the kind of people who will vote for Obama.

A. Blitzer went after Trump about his statements contesting the validity of Obama’s “birth certificate.”  Trump did not back down, suggesting that Obama’s place of birth was more a matter of opinion than a matter of fact.   

Q. You suggest that Obama might strike Iran before the November elections in order to get reelected.  Wouldn't that have to involve some advance strategic planning that would come to our attention?  (Blaine ~ Kennewick, WA)

A. The U.S. Air Force just deployed F-22 stealth fighter jets to the United Arab Emirates within 200 miles of a key Iranian target.
