Romney handily won Arizona and squeaked out a win inMichigan last night to give him some forward momentum in the Republicanprocess.

COMMENTS:

I think that the only reason Romney won Michigan was thefact that he far outspent Santorum in advertising. Still, I’m surprised and totally disappointedthat Santorum lost. I’m afraid to sayit, but if Romney wins Ohio, I think it’s all over. To me, this will be much akin to where westood when the dust settled on Obama vs. McCain in 2008. Frankly, I don’t like this revoltingdevelopment at all.

A. This is another “up yours” by Obama and his gangsterMarxist regime. Under his rules, allemployers must provide female contraception as part of their health care plans,with the cost of the contraception coverage to be incurred by the insurer if agiven employer -- such as a Catholic-affiliated charity, hospital, or school --objects on religious grounds. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops hasrejected the compromise, saying it still forces Catholic institutions toviolate their conscience by providing -- even at zero cost -- a benefit totheir employees that violates church doctrine. If he gets reelected, things are going to get much, much worse. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: heshould be impeached. This country has noroom for dictators.

A123 Systems of Michigan has announced it is laying off 125employees while, at the same time, increasing compensation for its topexecutives. The firm recently received $390million in U.S. Government subsidies. The company had a net loss of $172million during the first three quarters of 2011.

A. You’ll be angry at me for saying this, but $5.00 is theprobability and $7.00 is a possibility. The natural result is going to be a decline in the economy and higherunemployment which will hurt Obama’s reelection prospects. On that basis alone, I wouldn’t mind seeing$7.00 a gallon. Would you make thattradeoff?

Q. Should Obama get into the national oil reserves in orderto keep prices down? (Kevin ~ RedondoBeach, CA)

A. No way. Thatreserve is there to keep us with fuel in the event of a worldwide shortage ofsupply. If he taps it, it can only beshort-term and I don’t think he would consider that until just before theNovember election. Even so, it can onlyreduce the price at the pump by a few cents per gallon and for a limitedtime. What he should do, of course, is to approve the Keystone Pipeline, but hehas backed himself into a political corner over that issue. As long as he’s there, maybe he should put on adunce cap.

Well, wait a moment. Brazil is drilling and finding all kinds of oil. The demand in China and India is notnew. Then, Iran opened the doors for the I.A.E.A.to come in and discuss inspections of its nuclear program. Now, the I.A.E.A., which is the U.N.’snuclear regulatory arm, says that Iran has once again refused access to itssecret nuclear sites.

COMMENTS:

Doesn't this sound like the needle is stuck in the record? So, once again, Obama and the U.N. look like totalincompetent dunces in the worlds of international politics and Iranian gamesmanship. The fact is that our President is incapableof dealing with this threat to world security. We need a new guy in the White House.

$6 TRILLION IN FAKE U.S. SECURITIES

Italian police seized $6 trillion in fake U.S. TreasuryBonds in Switzerland recently. Theoperation was carried out by Italian and Swiss authorities after a year-longinvestigation. The fake securities, morethan a third of U.S. national debt, were seized in January from a Swiss trustcompany where they were held in three large trunks. In 2009, Italian financial police seized $742billion of fake U.S. bearer bonds in the northern Italian town of Chiasso, nearthe Swiss border.

News came out yesterday that Obama’s forecast budget deficitfor ten years from now is $1 trillion short. And, we’re on target in FY2012 for having another $1.4 trilliondeficit.

So much for Obama’s pledge to balance the deficit and cutspending. This math error is also justanother in an endless series of mathematical mistakes made by theAdministration. It seems he is in thehabit of making wild statements to sooth voters and later the truth comes outbut is never reported by the liberal press or media. Now,just why would that be?
