CLINTON FOUNDATION IN TROUBLE?

The Clinton Global Initiative, the fundraising arm of the Clinton Foundation, has announced it is closing its doors effect April 15th.

COMMENTS:
It appears that the millions of dollars in contributions to the foundation are drying up due to the fact that contributions will no longer produce “pay to play” political and monetary favors on the part of the Clintons.  The only question remaining, I suppose, is who is going to end up with all of the money in the foundation’s coffers.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Microsoft is about to stick it to millions of Windows users around the world.  They are saying that Windows 7 doesn’t have the necessary security features and that you must upgrade to Windows 10 immediately.   Why don’t they just fix the security issues?  (Leon ~ Magalia, CA)
A. If you upgrade to Windows 10, some of your Windows-based software will no longer function, which means you also have to buy more new software and they make more money.  I refer to it as a “bend over” marketing ploy.  That’s what happens when corporations get too big and powerful; they stick it to the customer.  Yes, like you, I’m outraged.  When they get that kind of attitude, they should be put out of business.

Q. I can’t believe my ears.  Military bases are refusing to accept some state-issued identifications to allow access to the bases?   What’s wrong with those states?  (Cooper ~ Providence, RI)
A. The military justifiably requires that state issued i.d. cards have sufficient security measures to back them up as being reliable forms of identification.   Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Pennsylvania and Washington are not now accepted; Illinois, New Mexico and South Carolina are in the process of being added.  Another 16 could potentially be added by the end of the year.

Q. Do you really think Trump might shut the White House Press Corps down?  (Di ~ Bridgeport, CA)
A. It would not surprise me to see some “attitude readjustments,” but Trump needs the press to communicate above and beyond his Twitter account.   If the press and the media of this country don’t quickly come to the realization that Americans are sick and tired of their bullshit, they are going to have a very rude awakening when we start boycotting their advertisers.
