VENEZUELAN NIGHTMARE

For the second time in as many weeks, over 124,000 Venezuelans crossed their border into Columbia over the weekend in search of food and medical supplies.  Shortages have continued to mount in Venezuela in the midst of triple-digit inflation, currency controls that have restricted imports and investment, and the world oil price slump that caused a collapse in the oil revenues that fund government spending, according to a report on NEWSMAX.COM.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The Clinton Campaign and the Democrats are raising hell saying Melania Trump’s speech was plagiarized from Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech.  Your response?  (Ivan ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Gosh, Hillary… Tell me more about Benghazi.

Q. The word is that more women are coming forward claiming that FOX NEWS guru Roger Ailes sexually harassed them.  What do you think is going to happen about it?  (Penny ~ Redding, CA)
A. The prevalent rumor is that the Murdoch family has decided to can Ailes. What I don’t understand is how, at the ripe old age of 76, Ailes could sexually harass a flea.  What would you say, as a matter of conjecture, if Bill O’Reilly, who has done a lot of producing himself, were to leave the FOX NEWS hero line-up and take over Aile’s position as chief honcho?

Q. What’s with the Federal lawsuits against Aetna and Anthem Insurance companies?  (Minnie ~ Tukwila, WA)
A. While both companies are griping about profits and backing out of ObamaCare, Aetna is poised to buy Humana and Anthem is ready to buy Cigna.  These deals would create huge anti-trust issues in the health insurance industry.  But, I’m sure that if they can eke out some donations to the Clinton Foundation that their problems with the government would go away…
