THANK YOU

SPECIAL POST

As this year of scandals comes to a close, I'd like to thank you for your readership.  In growing numbers, you have been following all of my blogs and it's indeed heartwarming to know that what I have to say and the opinions I have to give mean something to someone.

My objective in posting these blogs is to keep people aware of what is going on around them in this country, not only from a political standpoint, but also with respect to important stories of every kind that do not make the daily news.  Of course, it is incumbent upon me to add my incredible wit, sarcastic as it maybe at times, sprinkled with a few puns and plays on words to try and put a smile on people's faces when we are living in times that make it difficult to smile.

With your permission, I'll keep writing and blogging along... It's the American thing to do.

NEW FAST & FURIOUS ALLEGATIONS

John Dodson, the whistle-blower who blew the lid off the DEA’s Fast & Furious gun-running operation, has come forth with a new and startling allegation.  Dodson says the FBI had ties to those responsible for the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry; those bandits were in fact working for the FBI and had been sent to the border to do a “drug rip-off” using intelligence gathered by the DEA.  According to an article in THE BLAZE, the Phoenix-based operation was launched in 2009 to identify and prosecute drug lords, but instead allowed guns to be “walked” into the hands of Mexican criminals. ATF agents encouraged licensed firearms dealers in Arizona to sell more than 2,000 weapons to known “straw buyers” who were working for cartels. Instead of arresting suspects immediately, surveillance agents took notes and let them disappear with the guns.

COMMENTS:
And there remains open the hypothesis which emerged immediately after the scandal broke, that Obama and Holder wanted to use the “discovery” of “illegal gun sales” out of border-state gun shops as an excuse for the feds to shut down gun shops.  This latest allegation, that the FBI was covertly in charge of the Mexican bandits who killed Terry, would explain why the Administration went to such great lengths to cover up and stonewall.  Those responsible need to be identified and brought to justice, and if that includes Holder and Obama they also need to be held accountable.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why are you against the registration of long guns, like they are now going to require in California?  (Nancy ~ Reseda, CA)
A. My dislike of gun registration is not confined to long guns.  The so-called “purpose” of registration is to use the registration process as a means for keeping guns out of the hands of criminals.  Frankly, that’s a goal we all share, but it is impossible to achieve.  There was just as much booze floating around this country during prohibition as there was before; it just cost you more and you had to know where to get it.  Any country that has initiated gun registration has done so with the objective of ultimately confiscating guns.  Gun confiscation does not stop violent crimes, but it does leave the populace without a way to defend themselves against dictators and tyrants.  The fact that this President in particular is so determined to trash the Second Amendment speaks for itself.

Q. How is it that the V.A. Hospitals and the military are persecuting Christians by refusing to allow the display of the Nativity, the singing of Christmas carols or the delivery of Christmas cards?  Isn’t that both censorship and religious persecution?  (Morgan ~ Santa Ynez, CA)
A. According to the Constitution, you are correct.  According to the Obama Administration, they are not bound by the Constitution.  One of the keys to overthrowing a government is to undermine its fundamental freedoms and protections.  Take a moment now to stop and consider what rights and freedoms you have lost, just in the last five years.  Don’t you think it’s time we did something about it?

Q. What story do you consider to be the best news story of the year?  (Daryl ~ Anacortes, WA)
A. Sarah Murnaghan, the 10-year-old who needed a lung transplant to live, and who defied the Washington D.C. establishment and won her battle to get the lung… That is the best story of the year.  It should serve as an inspiration to all of us: we can defeat the Sebelius-Obama-Holder gangsters of the government if we have the will and the energy to do so.

UNEMPLOYMENT CATASTROPHE LOOMS

More than a million Americans got their last unemployment compensation check yesterday, signaling the start of further reductions in unemployment benefits as the new budget kicks in.

COMMENTS:
These are people who have already lost their cars, houses, furniture and in some cases their families.  They will be moving in with relatives, seeking soup kitchens and living in desperation.  Their plight will pull down the net incomes of those relatives and stretch the budgets of charitable organizations to the max.  Add to that the effect of outrageous ObamaCare premiums and the buying power of Americans is going to be severely and adversely impacted in the immediate months ahead.  The danger to our national economy, being as fragile as it currently is, is serious.  Hold on to your girdles; we’re in for a tough ride in 2014.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. People are being thrown into debtors prisons again? (Julia ~ Farmington, NM)
A. In a very real way, the answer is yes.  In some areas of the U.S., where cash-strapped people cannot pay court-ordered fines, they are being arbitrarily thrown into jail, often at costs to cities and counties far exceeding the amount of the fine.  Yes, it’s an extension of the “police mentality” gripping the country.  This may sound far-fetched, but suppose you owe a $500 fine you can’t pay, and there you are hiding in a culvert from the cops who are searching the area with drones and dogs, bound and determined to get you.  "Nightmare in Elm Street Culvert…"

Q. There they are in Connecticut with new laws I hadn’t heard about: they have to register their guns and high-capacity magazines?  (Federico ~ Golden CO)
A. As a result of the Newtown shootings a little over a year ago, the state passed a law requiring the registration of semi-automatic rifles and high capacity magazines by January 1st.  So far, not one criminal has shown up and no illegal guns have been registered.  In the meantime, authorities will have a list of guns they can go seize when the next round of gun control laws gets passed.

Q. Some guy on Wall Street is recommending people buy guns and ammo to prepare for the next financial collapse?  (Ruiz ~ San Antonio, TX)
A. He’s saying you’ll need a bag full of food, guns and ammo to stay alive.  He’s correct. You’ll need the guns and ammo so you can go steal food and money back from the liberal leftists who stole them from you in the first place.  There are some economists who believe a collapse is inevitable. Think about what chaos there may be in this country if no one pays their ObamaCare premiums!  Obama would have to call out the D.H.S. Storm Troopers and they’d be anxious to use their 6 billion rounds of ammo…

DEMOCRATS GOING AFTER OBAMA OVER IRAN

The Iranian government has announced it has installed a new generation of centrifuges used for the enrichment of uranium. Scientists say that the new centrifuges are specifically designed to enrich uranium to weapons grade.  Many Democrats are now concerned that the announcement shows Iran’s true intentions and that the Administration is trying to downplay the danger and get its “treaty” with the Iranians passed.  One of the President’s top allies, Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, who is Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is heading a group of Democrats calling for a bi-partisan vote to increase sanctions against Iran instead of decreasing them as the President and John Kerry are asking.

COMMENTS:
Thank God, even the Democrats are starting to realize what is happening with this Administration.  Ironically, I don’t think the Republicans have a true and sincere grasp of the situation yet.  I’ve said it here before and I’ll say it again:  I think the Iranians already have their nuclear weapons capability and that they are busy learning how to match a nuke to a missile for the purpose of obliterating Israel.  And here we’ve been sitting, allowing it to happen.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The research ship that is trapped in ice was supposed to be rescued yesterday, but the rescue icebreaker got itself stuck in ice.  I remember stories about ships getting stuck in the ice and crushed by the pressure of the ice until they broke apart and sank.  What is the danger here?  (Tad ~ Lomita, CA)
A. The way they make ships these days, they are so sturdy that they can take a lot of pressure.  I would guess that the danger would be at its highest in the spring when the ice starts to melt and move.  If worse comes to worse, they can remove the ship’s lifeboats and place them on top of the ice and have some protection if they have to abandon ship.  Before that, however, I would expect rescue helicopters to save them.  One thing for certain: They don’t need refrigerators to keep their beer cold.

Q. There’s a big dispute between a mining company, an Apache tribe, a town and the government in southern Arizona.  Can you elaborate, and what is your opinion? (Standing Bear ~ Great Falls, MT)
A. I’m sure my opinion will be different than most. The mining company, Resolution Copper, wants to mine copper on land considered sacred by the San Carlos Apache Tribe.  In history, the answer has always been centered around money: How much can the feds make in mining leases, how much can the city of Superior make due to a better economy and lower unemployment, and how many jobs will be created by the mining company for the white man?  How much can they get for the copper?  The land is not owned by the tribe, but by the federal government, so the government sees a simple solution of giving the tribe some other land for their damned “scared rituals.”  The mining company, the city and the government are all salivating and the answer is written in the wind.  My opinion?  There is a law enacted by Congress.  It’s the National Historical Preservation Act of 1966.  It provides for the sanctity of grounds and buildings of national historic interest, and that includes places of significant cultural and archaeological value. All everyone has to do here is to follow the law.  My bet is they won’t.  “To hell with the Indians, to hell with the military and to hell with anyone who gets in our way;” that’s the motto of the U.S. government right now.

Q. What do you think about a new Federal Court Judge ruling, contrary to another recent Federal Court ruling, that the N.S.A. surveillance of Americans is constitutional?  (Amy ~ Logan, UT)
A. He doesn’t know the difference between horseshit and apple butter.  Obviously a left-wing liberal, I’m sure the Judge would be the first to raise hell if they found a N.S.A. microphone and camera in his daughter’s bathroom.  There are lines of privacy in this country that not even Obama or his storm troopers are legally authorized to cross; this is one of them.  People who think this way want your guns, your money, your freedoms of speech and religion, and your family jewels. I do not believe the tribal rights to its culture should be arbitrarily trashed.

ARGENTINA’S ECONOMY ON VERGE OF COLLAPSE

Argentina has been celebrating the 30th anniversary of the restoration of democracy in that country, while across the nation mobs have been looting stores and police have been on strike.  The economy is in a shambles, having gone through a 30% inflation rate this year with its foreign reserves dropping nearly to an unprecedented low.  Citizens are losing what little trust they had in that government and the possibility of total anarchy looms.

COMMENTS:
Although it has not been talked about much lately, the world’s economy is also continuing to be precipitous.  In the U.S., statistics are being manipulated to make people think things are getting better when, in fact, they are getting worse.  The estimated percentage of jobless people in the country among those who are employable is over 20%.  The situation in Greece, Italy and Spain is tenuous at best.  The possible of world financial collapse is high, regardless of what the talking heads in the White House are saying.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. We’re moving troops over to Africa, obviously to handle the situation in South Sudan.  Will we go into there if the situation deteriorates?  (Sy ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Possibly, but judging by what happened with Syria and Iran, I don’t look for it to happen.  I can visualize going in there to extract Americans and then getting back out.  Or, maybe, Obama will let Putin handle it.

Q. I can’t believe the people coming out of the woodwork and chastising Phil Robertson for quoting from the Bible.  Even Jesse Jackson has called him names.  (Harvey ~ Sacramento, CA)
A. The uproar on both sides of the issue may signal things to come next year.  Maybe, just maybe, real Americans are realizing it’s time for them to stand up to the left-wing loonies.

Q. You made a caustic comment about Obama not signing up for ObamaCare because of the problem with his birthplace and phony social security number.  Now that he’s signed up, I hear there were actually problems getting him signed up because of his questionable identification?  (Erma ~ Birmingham, AL)
A. Here’s the skinny.  For a normal person signing up, he has a valid social security number, existing insurance information and other identification which is used to extract and match information from the I.R.S., prior insurers, hospitals, etc.  Obama has no government records with that information on it to match.  I find that to be unbelievable; doesn’t he file tax returns?  Technically, Obama can’t be identified; therefore, I assert he does not exist.

TERRORISTS THREATEN NEW YORK CITY, WASHINGTON D.C.

According to a recent BLAZE report, a Pakistani terrorist organization known as Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP), has warned that it will strike New York City and Washington D.C. in an organized Jihad in the near future.  According to a translation sanctioned by THE BLAZE, the terrorist group urges Muslims everywhere to join jihad.

COMMENTS:

This warning should be taken seriously. They are actively recruiting people to join them in their quest.  If our government, under Obama’s style of national security and foreign relations, cannot protect us, we need to be prepared to oust him and his regime at a moment’s notice.   The fact that the organization is brazen enough to go public with these threats is indicative of their total disregard for American resolve to deal with them, if we still have any such resolve left.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. If ObamaCare is so great, why wasn’t Obama the very first one to sign up for it? (Sully ~ Grand Rapids, MI)
A. He has to put down where he was born and what his real social security number is.  Plus, I don’t think the White House doctor is on the ObamaCare plan.  Besides, he gets full medical care from the military, but he did in fact send one of his White House lackeys over to DHS to sign him up for it, just for the hell of it.

Q. Susan Rice says the Benghazi Massacre is a big farce?  (Jaynelle ~ Kennewick, WA)
A. Well, she did say that the ruckus about her five Sunday interviews immediately after the event was a “false controversy.”  She’s doing her very best to continue deflecting attention away from the fact that the Administration is still in a concerted cover-up mode.  I’ve said it many times here and in other blogs: There’s a Presidential impeachment buried in the Benghazi story.

Q. Do you have any idea what the illegal border traffic is doing?  Is it increasing or decreasing, etc.?  (Aldo ~ El Centro, CA)
A. According to MOTHER JONES, “Over the past five years, the number of undocumented children—mostly teens, but some as young as five—apprehended crossing the border without parents or guardians has tripled, rising from 8,041 in fiscal year 2008 to 24,481 in fiscal 2012, with a 52 percent increase from 2011 to 2012 alone. Countless others...made the trip without getting caught. A major factor in the increase, known simply as "the surge" to government officials and child-welfare advocates, appears to be the rise in gang violence in Central America.”  The percentage of illegal immigrant children from countries other than Mexico is increasing more than the percentage from Mexico.

SECRET OBAMACARE PROVISION SCREWS MEDICARE SENIORS

Without fanfare or notice, the Obama Administration has decided to deeply cut funding for the Medicare program’s home health benefit as a way to help pay for ObamaCare.  AMAC, the Association for Mature American Citizens, reports the cuts amount to 14% of the home health funding.  The cut is the maximum allowable under the ObamaCare law; the Administration had the discretion to cut less or to make no cuts at all, but they decided to impose the deepest cut made possible by the Affordable Care Act.  According to the federal government’s own data, the affected seniors are older, poorer and sicker than the Medicare beneficiary population as whole.

COMMENTS:
I DON’T KNOW HOW Americans can possibly sleep at night, knowing what is happening to our country… our military, our seniors, our laws, our unemployed, our foreign relations, our national security.  How can we sleep at night?  Where is the outcry?  What are we doing to ourselves?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Phil Robertson has been very quiet about his suspension from A&E’s DUCK DYNASTY.  Why?  (Celia ~ Prescott, AZ)
A. He opened up yesterday and said has no intentions of backing down from the statements that got him into trouble.  Now, there is a man of principle, few of which still reside in this country.  In the meantime, A&E is sending out trial balloons about allowing Robertson back on the series in January.  What bothers me is that we’re not raising the same kind of hell over what our President is doing to our country.

Q. Do you really think ObamaCare will be the subject of discussion around the dinner table this Christmas?  (Perry ~ Silver Springs, NV)
A. Yes, I do, and not in the way the Obamas would like, either.  Crab cakes for desert...

Q. There’s a well-known gay rights activist in trouble with the law.  I can’t find anything on it. Can you fill me in?  (Cory ~ Lakeport, CA)
A. He’s San Francisco gay rights activist Larry Brinkin, and he’s been charged with possession of child pornography showing kids as young as a year old being sodomized and lots of child oral sex with adult males.  He’s also allegedly used racial epithets and has a new charge of distribution of child porn.  What sick, ugly people we have on this planet and in this country.

CALIFORNIA CLIMBS INTO A TOILET LAWSUIT

Sacramento-based Privacy For All Students, a coalition of conservative groups, has filed a lawsuit to overturn the recently passed and signed transgender bathroom legislation which mandates that school children who have problems with their sexual identities can use either boy’s or girl’s restrooms.  Their lawsuit alleges that authorities are unfairly counting signatures on a ballot referendum calling for rescission of the law.  It alleges a courier delivered signatures collected in Tulare ahead of a deadline of Nov. 10, but offices were closed early before the three-day weekend. In Mono County, a courier dropped the signatures in a county mail slot a day before the deadline, but workers did not return to their jobs until the deadline had passed.

COMMENTS:
When liberals have an agenda they want to cram down our throats, they will result to lying, cheating, bullying, screaming, crying, stomping, manipulating… anything they can do to get their way.  These are the same people who voted for ObamaCare and now want us to pay for it.  I think it’s time we all got together and flushed them and their agendas out of the country.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is your opinion of John McCain’s voting to pass the budget that set back pay for disabled American veterans?  (Coker ~ Murfreesboro, TN)
A. John McCain is as phony as a three dollar bill.  The only reason the Republicans put him up for President is that the Progressive Movement within the party wanted the Democrats to win.  He’s a first class jerk and it’s way past the time for him to exit… stage left.

Q. O’Reilly “lost it” again on a recent show and went after Mikey Weinstein and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation for instigating the removal of a nativity scene at Guantanamo.  Don’t you think O’Reilly really needs to be put off the air for his outrageous conduct?  (Helen ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. I agree that O’Reilly has “lost it” in shameful displays of temper in the past.  And his talking over guests and down to guests and around guests has taken him off of my “watch list.”  I will say, however, that O’Reilly did not lose his temper and conducted himself with some restraint during this episode. So, I have to disagree with your stance at this time.  O’Reilly is certainly controversial and could get his many valid points across without being an ass about it, I agree.  Maybe this shows that he is taking a step in that direction.

Q. Do you really, honestly and deep down in your heart believe that Christ, if he exists, will ever return to Earth?  (Stormy ~ San Francisco, CA)
A. Christ will probably not return to Earth as long as Obama is here.  I mean, why do we need two Messiahs floating around at the same time?  Since you question Christ’s existence, you really know that He is not coming back because He has never been here.  On the other hand, you say “if” He exists, showing some doubt.  Perhaps you would be wise to study up on the issue and seek answers not from me, but from within yourself.
