HEAT GROWS ON RICE DUE TO PRIOR EVENTS

Heat in the U.S. Senate has escalated as it has come to light that Susan Rice was in charge of two U.S. Embassies when they were attacked in 1998, one in Kenya and one in Tanzania.  In both cases, ambassadors at the embassies had asked for additional security prior to the terrorist attacks and it was denied.  The White House and State Department are trying to insist that Rice’s role in those attacks was “insignificant,” but it is clear that she was State’s oversight on African embassy operations.  Twelve U.S. employees were killed and 200 other deaths occurred with 4,000 injuries in the attacks.

COMMENTS:
The more the heat, the more determined Obama will be to nominate her.  He did say that McCain and other Senators had better leave her alone; this grilling will be seen by him as a direct challenge over his dictatorial authority earned by his “landslide” reelection results.  I stick with my prediction of a recess appointment during Christmas vacation, followed by a curt two-word “Up yours” from the White House.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. There is a restaurant in Pennsylvania that was offering a 10% discount to any customer who showed up with a church bulletin in hand.  Some meathead left-wing atheist challenged the restaurant with a state agency, claiming they were discriminating against customers on the basis of religion.  When is all of this crap going to stop?  (Marlena ~ Provo, UT)
A. The state ruled in favor of the restaurant, saying that as long as they accepted church bulletins from anybody including atheists, they were not discriminating.  If you want to know what I really think, see today’s MY AMERICAN OPINION.

Q. Why doesn’t anyone in the press challenge White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he ducks and dodges important questions?  (Sampson ~ Richmond, CA)
A. Because the press and media are all on Obama’s payroll, literally an extension of the White House Public Relations Department.  Occasionally, a delirious reporter crosses the line.  Major Garrett, formerly from Fox and now representing CBS, recently stormed at Carney for ducking questions about Susan Rice, Benghazi and her husband’s foreign investments.  You can bet that CBS has either been told that Garrett can no longer serve as their White House correspondent or that he gets fired altogether.

Q. What do you suppose Obama and Romney had to say to each other over lunch at the White House?  (Mathew ~ Irvine, CA)
A. Nothing; they were both speechless.  Not only was the meal chili, so was the atmosphere.  But when the cameras showed up, they were all gushing with pleasantries.  Obama invited Romney back for a beer in the Rose Garden and Romney promised to get Obama a good seat at the next Olympics.

NOW OBAMA STARTS TO GET EVEN WITH US

Breaking in a late Fox News report yesterday comes news that Diane Feinstein’s office, evidently at the request of the White House, has been secretly investigating a location in the United States to house the terrorists currently being detained at GITMO, (Guantanamo, Cuba).  This will enable the Obama Administration to try the terrorists in the criminal court system as opposed to war trials under the military justice system.  Feinstein’s office reportedly started to work on this project the day after Obama won reelection.  This is a move that was met with overwhelming opposition by citizens early in Obama’s first term.

COMMENTS:
Also starting on the day after Obama’s reelection was a communiqué to the United Nations that the U.S. is now interested in negotiating an international small arms treaty which would trump the U.S. Constitution’s 2nd Amendment.  Also starting on the day after Obama’s reelection, Harry Reid put into motion joining a United Nations treaty that would infringe on American sovereignty by allowing an international committee to intrude into U.S. policy making.  A few international “experts” would be able to demand the U.S. comply with U.N. established mandates regarding the treatment of people with disabilities.  Now, I warned and warned readers that if he was reelected Obama was going to shove all of the things we raised hell about during his first term up our fannies, and I got ridiculed.  Well, here it all comes and there’s now not a damned thing you can do about it; the dictatorship of Barack Hussein Obama has officially begun.  You will not recognize this country in fours years, because it will no longer be... this country we love so dearly.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s this I hear about E-Bay’s censorship of some art Glenn Beck put up for auction for charity over the holidays?  (Tina ~ Cupertino, CA)
A. Beck heard of an artist having been censored, so he decided to see for himself and created a bobble head in a canning jar filled with beer and the label that it was “Obama in Pee Pee.”  Within 30 minutes, bids were well over $11,000, but E-Bay pulled the item off of auction.  E-Bay is refusing to talk about it, so one has to suspect that they received a nasty call from the White House.  I don't care for the presentation of the subject matter myself, but censorship of artistic content is illegal as hell.

Q. The Supreme Court may hear lawsuits regarding same-sex marriage vs. the individual states as well as parts of ObamaCare.  How do you think they will rule?  (Tip ~ Pahrump, NV)
A. Marriage is traditionally a state’s rights issue, but the Court will rule that enough states are creating enough different rules that the issue is confusing and needs to be settled on a national basis.  And, based on prior rulings with respect to discrimination for any reason, they will rule in favor of same sex marriage.  As for the ObamaCare issues, if they refuse to hear them, you know the answer.  If they agree to hear them, they may have a difficult time reversing any part of their prior ruling and I would suspect they will uphold ObamaCare in its entirety and make that plain to everyone, which will then open the door for the Feds to inject themselves into every aspect of what you thought was freedom from tyranny.

Q. Are the digitalized door keys used by hotels these days really as secure as they lead us to believe?  (Samantha ~ Redding, CA)
A. In design and theory, yes.  Their systems record every entry into your room by you, the maid, the maintenance man, the bellhop, etc.  They all have their own codes.  Every time a new person checks into the room, he gets a new set of digitalized cards with a new encoding; the old key taken by the guest before you will no longer work.  But, Kim Komando and Forbes Magazine are both reporting a new “hack” system used by room burglars that is defeating all of these safeguards.  I always practice this rule: if you have something so valuable that you are worried about someone stealing it, never leave it in a hotel room.  See if you can store it in a safe in the room or at the front desk, or lock it in the trunk of your car where it cannot be seen.

CHINESE CHECKERS

China owns more than $1 trillion of our debt. So, what are they doing with all of the interest they are earning?  They’re now buying houses… foreclosed U.S. houses.

COMMENTS:
Just imagine this money-go-round: (1) The Chinese buy up all of our houses, (2) We have to pay the Chinese to rent those houses, (3) The Chinese take the rental income and lend more money to the U.S. government, and (4) The government raises our taxes so they can pay more interest to the Chinese.  Wanna have a little won-ton soup? Is it time we threw these occupants of power in our government out, or not?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Will all of that money tied up in corporate lockers finally start to be invested in our economy?  (Tiffany ~ Chester, CA)
A. There is some scholarly thinking that there will be a lot of declarations of stockholder dividends before the end of the year when higher taxes on incomes over $250,000 are inevitable.  That would lower the cash on hand in major corporations and would probably drive the stock market up, at least in the short run.  Then, everyone would sit tight until a final resolution is reached on the economy and the “Fiscal Cliff,” sometime late next year at the earliest.  Depending on the structure of such an agreement, you will either then see significant domestic capital investment or significant foreign investment.

Q. It seems to me that MSNBC is blaming everything they don’t like on race.  On the 26th, they attacked Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham as “old, white, establishment folks.”  Isn’t there some FCC regulation against this type of trashing and use of the race card on radio and TV?  (Olivia ~ Morgan Hill, CA)
A. The FCC pretty much lets anything go on the airwaves, particularly if it is created by sources friendly to the Obama Administration.  I just wish some of these targets would stand up and raise holy hell about it, but they all just suck it up and ignore it.  The American electorate, much less sophisticated than it was back in the ’50’s, soon starts to believe such character assassinations are for real.

Q. Two things circulating yesterday I would like your opinion on.  (1) Charles Krauthammer says Obama doesn’t care about fixing the economy; he wants to destroy the Republicans, and (2) the number of people worried about our economic future rose by 27% since Obama’s reelection.
A. I question the second statistic; if there was that underlying fear, although not expressed, I don’t think Obama would have been reelected.  Obama does not need to worry about destroying the Republicans; they have already destroyed themselves.

PAINTING DEPICTS OBAMA AS CRUCIFIED CHRIST

The painting called “Truth” shows the president on the cross with his arms outstretched; a crown of thorns rests on his head.  It was created by Michael D’Antuono, a student at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston.

COMMENTS:
The painting was originally not shown due to public outrage several months ago.  I don’t know what the problem is… Truth IS truth, isn’t it?  Perhaps he should have had a golf club in one hand and a bolt of lightning in the other? Yes, it is sacreligious, but so is the President.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why hasn’t Obama weighed in on Morsi’s power grab in Europe?  (Dharma ~ Saratoga, CA)
A. Maybe because they are both members of the Muslim Brotherhood?

Q. There was a lot of talk about illegal foreign contributions to Obama’s 2012 election campaign, just as there were strong allegations in 2008 that never went anywhere.  Now again, the talk has just evaporated.  What gives?  (Rollie ~ Arlington, WA)
A. The Federal Election Commission, (FEC), is the one to look into such things.  The Commission works for the President.  Is there anything else about government corruption you’d like to know?

Q. Could it be that Osama Bin Laden is still alive?  (Desmond ~ Sherman Oaks, CA)
A. That’s possible because the Obama Administration continues to refuse to provide details about the shooting.  But, I doubt it; there would be a leak from the Seals by now, pardon the play on words.

NAPOLITANO SCREWS UP AGAIN

Janet Napolitano, frequently on the hot seat for what she says and the mistakes she makes, has done it again.  Word is that the Department of Homeland Security spent over $430 million on special two-way radios so their agents could communicate with civilian agencies during a disaster or similar large-scale emergency.  One of the major criticisms arising out of the Sandy disaster is that FEMA was unable to communicate with local emergency agencies.  You guessed it; no one was ever trained in how to use the new radios.

COMMENTS:
Remember that she has been lobbying Obama for the Attorney General’s job.  Nothing like rewarding incompetency with a promotion, is there?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you think Congress and the President can possibly find a way around the looming “fiscal cliff” before they go on Christmas vacation?  (Alberto ~ Sierra Vista, AZ)
A. No.  But, they will find a way to “kick the can down the road.”  History shows they will find some short-term solution; look for taxes to go up on those earning more than $250,000 per year, for example.  Don’t expect the Republicans to get anything at all out of this “short-term solution” in return.  Next year, there will be a lot of hot-air talk about how they are going to fix the tax problem and there will be some smoke and mirror trick about reducing spending; Obama wants to increase spending by $1.6 trillion, so maybe he’ll cut that increase to $1.25 trillion and they’ll call that a reduction in spending.  I believe this nation will be $20 trillion in debt by the end of 2014, our credit will be in shambles and we’re going to be looking like Greece because there’s not a single soul in Washington who really wants to do what is necessary. I sometimes pray that December 21st will be for real and that Christ will return and lead us out of this mess we have created for ourselves.

Q. Now that Obama has won reelection, what is going on with immigration?  (Star ~ Pacifica, CA)
A. I have no official word, but the rumor is that the number of illegals crossing the border has taken a sharp increase since the election.  And, why not?  The gravy train is wide open, now.

Q. All day (yesterday) I heard talk about how Obama will not put Susan Rice in nomination for Secretary of State because he doesn’t want her grilled in the Senate about what happened in the Benghazi Massacre.  What’s your outlook?  (Truong ~ Lemon Grove, CA)
A. As I’ve said before, look for Clinton to formally resign next week and for Obama to name Rice in a recess appointment the following week so she will never have to face Senate confirmation.  He’s already made this move twice before and Congress never so much as made a whimper over it.  Besides, he needs to shame them and remind them of just who it is that runs this country.

ADDING INSULT TO INJURY

Those in Sandy-stricken northeastern states are now receiving… power bills.  Thousands of customers received their normal power bills, although they have been without electricity since the storm struck.  The New York Post reports that Long Island residents received an estimated rate that covered projected usage over the entire billing cycle; the statements made no mention of any possible refunds to adjust for the prolonged blackouts.  The Long Island Power Company is flatly refusing to take customer calls or to comment.

COMMENTS:
Get ready folks; that’s exactly the attitude you can expect from our government for at least the next four years.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I think that the biggest problem this country has is that the Republicans won’t back down and compromise on anything.  (Cleo ~ Havre, MT)
A. Well, it takes guts for you to say that.  Name one time, just one, when the Democrats backed down over the last four years.   The Republicans, being the weenies that they are, have been 100% the ones who did the compromising, and you far-left-wing liberal Democrats have been cramming your agendas to destroy America down the nation’s throats whether they like it or not.  Your synonym for “compromise” is dictatorship. You really do all belong in another country, on another plant, in another solar system.

Q. Did I hear this right?  Obama wants to raise taxes over $1.6 trillion?  Is he out of his skull?  (Marv ~ Canby, OR)
A. He is quite serious, and don’t laugh at him.  Most people thought he was out of his skull when he went after ObamaCare, remember?  Something to make you feel better… that’s over ten years.  Something to make you feel worse… he plans on NO spending cuts.  Aren’t you glad you voted for him?

Q. Senior citizens are very upset with what is happening to our country.  They transcend all political parties.  Do you think they stand a chance of ever reversing this horrible trend we’re on?  (Omar ~ Southfield, MI)
A. There is a slight possibility.  You have disenchanted Democrats you know, the ones who loved the party when it was a party and not a Marxist-Socialist movement;  you have disenchanted Republicans, like me, who recognize that the Republicans will never have the guts and smarts to mount a reversal; and you have the Independents who solidly want to reverse the course we are on.  Add them all together and I think you have a viable third party for 2016, especially if the Democrats put up Clinton and the Republicans put up Scott Brown or Chris Christy.

WHY DID CLINTON REFUSE TO DO SUNDAY TALK SHOW CIRCUIT?

Susan Rice has now gone on the record regarding saying the story she told five national television networks that the Benghazi Massacre was caused by protests over the You Tube video was based solely on the intelligence talking points she was given at the time.  Yet, evidence exists that she knew otherwise.  Petraeus has said he included the Al Qaeda assessment in the talking points; Clapper steadfastly denied changing them, and then abruptly changed his story just before Rice again went on nationwide TV Wednesday.  Lost in the smoke and mirrors was the fact that Hillary Clinton was asked to make those original network appearances, refused to do so and promptly departed for Australia, where she hid out for several weeks.

COMMENTS:
This whole story, beginning with the weakened structural security and the lack of sufficient security personnel at Benghazi all of the way through these outright lies and deception is an outrage!  Our Ambassador and three great Americans are dead and the barefaced lies continue!  I demand answers and so should you!

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Will Obama continue to blame Bush for the economic situation?  (Jonathin ~ Placerville, CA)
A. No.  Still refusing to accept responsibility for his own actions, however, he and his cohorts now intend to vilify Grover Norquist.

Q. Mitt Romney has surely disappeared since the election.  What’s going on with him?  (Emerson ~ Laughlin, NV)
A. You really can’t blame him for the fact that the Republican hierarchy was once again making suicidal moves to usher him onto the nominee’s seat.  I think he’s a very nice guy, but he certainly showed poor judgment in his refusal to tackle Obama for his gross misdeeds.  It’s almost as if a backroom deal was made between the Republicans and Democrats to get Romney in that saddle so Obama could win.  In any event, Romney will emerge in the business world; I think he’s learned his lesson.  Who will the Republicans put up next time?  How about Mohammed Morsi?  Huey Newton?  Donald Duck?  Chicken Little?

Q. Do you think the retailers will have a good season this year?  (Allyson ~ Sun Valley, ID)
A. I didn’t think the country would be dumb enough to vote for another Obama term; how can I predict Christmas sales?  One clue: major retailers are taking to the phones to call past customers and offer “great Holiday deals.”  Temporary hiring for the season is off.  Best Buy has announced much lower than expected profits.  As for me, I’m cling to my Bible, my guns and every nickel I’ve got.
