GORE SKATES FREE

The Portland charges that Al took undue advantage of a legitimate masseuse will not be prosecuted. District Attorney Michael Schrunk said the case has numerous problems and isn't appropriate for a criminal prosecution.

COMMENTS:
Thank God for that decision; otherwise, they would have had to admit they were wrong the first time around. Good God, man, what if one of those scientists who falsified data on global warming should end up testifying about DNA evidence and other biological things? Now, finally, we can get back to addressing Cap & Trade, something we have all been waiting for with baited breath. Please pass the Gray Poop-On.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you feel that the Shasta County Planning Commission is fair? (Ben ~ Burney, CA)
A. That depends on how much money you are willing to put up.

Q. Am I crazy or are the numbers of casualties in Afghanistan increasing, and if so, why? (Laird ~ Littleton, NH)
A. You are correct, numbers are increasing. Obviously, Chairman Barack's strategy is working.

Q. Why won’t the Obama administration deal with the immigration issue? (Tessie ~ Ruidoso, NM)
A. The Chairman has been unable to get Congress to go along with his plans on the issue. He is considering ways to go around lawmakers to let undocumented immigrants stay in the United States. An internal memo at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services says "In the absence of comprehensive immigration reform, USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals or groups." Such as, giving out green cards where they are not currently given, refusing to send violators back to Mexico… You get the picture; if you can’t beat the law, circumvent it.

CHAIRMAN BARACK TURNS BACK ON ARIZONA

The Federal Judge who gutted Arizona’s controversial new immigration law has had her life threatened. Protesters continue to demonstrate on the streets of Phoenix; hundreds of the law's opponents massed at a downtown jail, beating on the metal door and forcing sheriff's deputies to call for backup. Officers arrested at least 32 people, and dozens more were detained elsewhere throughout the day. Arizona has more than 400,000 illegal immigrants, and its border with Mexico is awash with smugglers who funnel narcotics and immigrants throughout the U.S. Several other states have announced they will enact laws similar to the one in Arizona.

COMMENTS:
Barack Hussein Obama, would-be Chairman of the Proletariat, was holed up in the White House, reacting to the statement by the Congressional Budget Office that his spending policies have pushed the United States to the brink of financial disaster by saying that we need to spend more money on education. He has totally refused to deal with the problem of immigration and he obviously does not give a damn about anyone who wants the problem resolved.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Doesn’t Obama ever do any work? He’s always on TV or out speaking or jetting off to some place. Who is running the country? (Stretch ~ Fairfax, VA)
A. Obama is so wrapped up in himself that he can’t run water in a bathtub without help. The Czars are running the country.

Q. Given his antagonistic, holier-than-thou attitude and slipping polls, it must be a nightmare to be Obama’s Secret Service detail. Has there been any comment on that? (Leona ~ Petaluma, CA)
A. Assassination threats against Obama have become so disturbing that a secret FBI task force has been created to track the ones arising from terrorism. Yet a beleaguered Secret Service is spread too thin by needless protection demands for administration aides — further jeopardizing the president’s safety. Chairman Barack is taking advantage of the situation by extending Secret Service protection to many staff members, (Czars and such), who would not otherwise qualify.

Q. I hear as many as 6,000 graves at Arlington National Cemetery may have wrong headstones. How are they going to deal with this tragedy? (Wes ~ Redding, CA)
A. I could say that it’s a dead issue, but that would be insensitive to the men and women who are buried there and the dedicated service they provided to our country. But, the fact is that Chairman Barack will deal with it the same way he has dealt with every other major issue to come up since he took office. He will do nothing and may not even give it lip service until the public uproar becomes so great that he simply HAS to do something. I don’t know what the answer will be; it’s a horrible mess. Maybe he will just give them all amnesty.

CHARLIE RANGEL SHOULD GET OFF

Representative Charles Rangel has been accused of income tax evasion and ethics violations galore. Rangel has been under investigation over a variety of allegations related to his personal finances, including: failure to pay taxes on a Dominican Republic resort home; the omission of hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and assets from his annual financial-disclosure reports; control of multiple rent-stabilized apartments in a luxury Harlem building; fundraising on behalf of the Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Policy at City University in New York and a report that Rangel saved a lucrative tax break for a multi-million dollar donor to the center.

COMMENTS:
Congress is full of scoundrels who have participated in everything from sex scandals to income tax evasion to negligent homicide to….you name it. They are liars, cheaters and bullies. They willingly participated in laying the worst piece of legislation ever to pass Congress on the backs of an unwilling American people. The way I see it, it’s a badge of honor to hide your yacht in Rhode Island and snub your nose at the system. If you don’t participate in the greed and corruption, you shouldn’t run for the office. Rangel should be held in high esteem.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why is the Congressional Budget Office coming out now and warning of impending economic disaster for the country when they were painting everything as being just fine during the final days of the Health Care debates? (Porky ~ Santa Maria, CA)
A. Because Obama wanted to pass the Health Care Bill and told them to dummy up; now he wants to create a favorable atmosphere for raising taxes. No one in Washington has the guts to tell the President to got someplace else and get a life.

Q. What is the status on all of those state lawsuits against the Health Care Bill? (Myrtle ~ Eugene, OR)
A. They are winding their ways through the court systems, and the White House and Attorney General are doing everything they can to slow the process down.

Q. What’s the latest on the Veterans Memorial Cross in the Mojave Desert? (Red ~ Orlando, FL)
A. Good question. There’s not a word since the middle of May when vandals tore it down and the Justice Department refused to allow a replacement to go up. I have a few feelers out. If you have info, send me an email.

CONSUMER CONFIDENCE IN FREE-FALL

The Conference Board, a private research group, says that the Consumer Confidence Index dropped to 50.4 in July, down from the revised 54.3 in June. The decline follows last month's nearly 10-point drop. The continuing bad economic news such as near 10% unemployment and horrible housing numbers has consumers unwilling to part with their money. One component of the CCI which measures how people feel now about the economy now, declined to 26.1, from 26.8. Another barometer, which measures outlook over the next six months, declined to 66.6, from 72.7 last month.

COMMENTS:
Can you imagine how bad things would be if Obama hadn’t saved 143 billion jobs last month? Everything this Administration has attempted regarding any subject has not only failed, but has failed miserably.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. There’s a new leak in the Gulf? (Rod ~ Redding, CA)
A. Yes, and a dog is not involved. The belief is that a barge was mistakenly pushed against a smaller well rig. Who knows where this one will lead?

Q. Harry Reid says that the “Public Option” fully-blown government-run health care plan WILL be passed into law. Will it? (Jena ~ Killeen, TX)
A. I think they will make the supreme effort to pass it between the November elections and January, especially if the Republicans manage to pull off a substantial gain. Obama will certainly veto any effort on the part of the new Congress to repeal the Health Care Plan. Makes you want to contribute to Reid's reelection campaign, doesn’t it?

Q. What does the “unemployment rate” mean? (Alice ~ Wells, NV)
A. Persons are classified as unemployed if they do not have a job, have actively looked for work in the prior 4 weeks, and are currently available for work. Actively looking for work may consist of any of the following activities:
Contacting:
  • An employer directly or having a job interview
  • A public or private employment agency
  • Friends or relatives
  • A school or university employment center
Sending out resumes or filling out applications
Placing or answering advertisements
Checking union or professional registers
Some other means of active job search

Now, how do they know if you are doing these things? So, the math gets to be about as fuzzy as someone claiming they have created or saved jobs. Also, if a person drops off the unemployment rolls, he is no longer counted as being unemployed.

OBAMA: THINGS COULD BE WORSE

President Barack Hussein Obama, the Messiah of Change, is now trumpeting that we need to stay the course, things are getting better and, if he and his socialistic dynasty had not done the things they have, things could be worse.

COMMENTS:
Unemployment near 10% continues, unabated. New and using housing sales are down. Illegal immigration needs a fix. Seniors are about to get raped over the coals with the new Health Care Plan. The national deficit is about to push us into bankruptcy and Obama continues spending more. Small businesses are folding right and left. Racism, once well on the road to obliteration in this country, is now again at the forefront of everyone’s minds. Yet, Obama has the audacity to look down his pious nose at those of us who are suffering in this country and to say, “Things could be worse?” He either has no concept of the reality of what he has done to this country or he just simply does not care.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The website, WikiLeaks, is leaking secret military information on its website. How do they get away with this? (Ollie ~ Reno, NV)
A. There used to be a responsibility in journalism, that you didn’t print something that could hurt the troops in the field or our national security. There was a responsibility not to print untruths, to report the news in a fair and balanced way, and to keep opinions to the opinion page. The government ran the government and the press kept them honest. Now, it seems, all responsibilities of the press have been abdicated. The press, the media, the educational system in this country have been socialized in every sense of the word. They are all like a houseful of harlots, selling out everything and anything.

Q. Is Newt going to run in 2012? (Smiley ~ Hereford, TX)
A. Yes. Gingrich and Palin would make a formidable combination at this point but, with the lackluster leadership being displayed by the Republicans, I could easily see McCain and Romney on the actual ticket.

Q. I hear Mexicans are fleeing Arizona in advance of their new illegal immigration law. Where are they going? (Tina ~ Albany, NY)
A. Washington, DC. They’re all either going to be housekeepers or gardeners at the White House.

HUGO CHAVEZ WARNS U.S.

Hugo Chavez has threatened to cut off oil sales to the United States if Columbia goes after Columbian rebels hiding out in Venezuela. "If there is any armed aggression against Venezuela from Colombian territory or anywhere else supported by the Yankee empire, we ... would suspend shipments of oil to the United States!"

COMMENTS:
Gosh. Gee willikers! Didn’t he just give an autographed book to Barry? We’re been worrying about the two little sawed-off runts in North Korea and Iran and now we have to worry about Chavez, too? I thought all of this stuff was supposed to stop when Barry got his Nobel Peace Prize.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I hear Tony Hayward is being booted from BP. How come? (Norma ~ San Luis Obispo, CA)
A. Hayward was so intent on making money for BP that he ordered divisions to cut expenses and shave corners. Allegations have been made that he had a subcontractor pack the well at Deep Horizon to a lesser degree than required due to the depth, and that the shoddy job contributed to the disaster. Not that BP or BP ARCO has never done such a thing countless times before…..

Q. I heard yesterday that we are now actively considering military action against Iran. What do you think? (Lanny – Las Vegas, NV)
A. Iran has not slowed down its nuclear activity one bit; in fact, it’s picking up steam. There are those who think Obama doesn’t have the guts to go after Iran or anyone else, for that matter. But, the political landscape in the United States indicates that the current Washington regime is in deep mustard. I hate to say it, but 9/11 saved Bush a second term, and military actions have saved many a prior Presidency that was in trouble. If North Korea doesn’t do anything rash to get us into a skirmish with them, I look for us to go into Iran before the November elections. Good old Harry Reid might be able to hang on to his job yet…. You see, it’s all a game with those guys in Washington, and we’re the ones who get the shaft.

Q. Do you suppose terrorists and others are crossing the Canadian border like they are at the Mexican border? (Wanda ~ Palo Cedro, CA)
A. There’s a big difference between the governments of Canada and Mexico. I don’t think the Canadians willingly allow terrorists in to their country to start off with.

ALL QUIET ON THE NORTH KOREAN FRONT

Despite threats to use nuclear weapons against the United States and South Korea if they held joint military exercises as scheduled, it was all quiet as of 10:00 hours, July 24th, after exercises began. The military drills, code-named "Invincible Spirit," are to run through Wednesday with about 8,000 U.S. and South Korean troops, 20 ships and submarines and 200 aircraft.

COMMENTS:
That short little pipsqueak surely knows better than to mess with Barack Hussein Obama.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. If, for any reason, Obama were not to finish his term, Joe Biden would become President. Who do you think he would choose as Vice President? (Lora ~ Mesquite, NV)
A. That’s easy. It would be a toss-up between Paris Hilton and Alan Grayson. Are you on drugs?

Q. If Obama was not President right now, what would he be doing? (Celeste ~ St. George, UT)
A. President and CEO of Goldman Sachs.

Q. I know that ACORN split up into many smaller groups. What are their names, so that I can keep track of them? (Alan ~ Redding, CA)
A. Too numerous to list, which is part of the game plan. Don’t you wonder what happened to the hundreds of millions of dollars ACORN was supposed to get? Remember, Congress shut them off and a Court said that Congress couldn’t do that, that they had to fund ACORN, and then ACORN split up? Why don’t you write the White House and ask them?

FORMER NEVADA GOVERNOR KENNY GUINN DIES

Reports are that he fell off his roof.

COMMENTS:
I don’t have any. If you have nothing nice to say about someone who dies, you keep your mouth shut. God will take care of the details.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Any comment on the North Korea threats to take “physical action” against the U.S. and/or South Korea if we go ahead with plans for joint military exercises this weekend? (Tammie ~ Lake Placid, NY)
A. Well, if they lob a firecracker or two over the border at us, they would play right into Obama’s hands. This may sound cynical, but if we get into some military engagement right now, even a war, that deflects the national attention from the utter and complete failure of the Administration and the national uproar over their programs and also takes the heat off of the Democrats at election time. It's a perfect solution... too perfect, perhaps.

Q. At least one site, www.godlikeproductions.com, has come forth with a post defending the closing of 73,000 blogs as being shut down totally for terrorism activities. What do you say? (Mandy ~ Forest Ranch, CA)
A. I have to say that the information posted on this site is suspect. It is not from a reliable source. It alleges that there was material posted on “the site” that was terrorist oriented, etc, yet there were 73,000 sites shut down. 73,000 sites with terrorist oriented bomb-making material? There were no charges filed, no Court Order, no Court hearing. The White House has not denied participating in it. If, in fact, the 73,000 sites were shut down because they contained terrorist material, the White House would be all over the news about the threat and how they dealt with it.

The actual reason given for shutting down the sites was that they contained copyrighted material that was reproduced without the authorities of the owners. Again, no charges, no Court Order, no hearing. The alleged owners of the material have not been identified. What I have not repeated, because I don’t trust the source, is that many of the blogs contained posts that pointed fingers of blame for wrongdoing at the Administration. However, that would not surprise me in the least.

This is a totalitarian socialist regime; if I had any doubts about that, they have been erased. And, any blog that uses that kind of language in a posting is, as far as I am concerned, typical liberal rhetoric, incapable of dealing with factual arguments in a reasonable discussion; they resort to screaming epithets, yell-downs, and other displays of utter ignorance that underscore the fragility of their positions.

Q. A week or so ago, you lambasted the White House for their position against BP on piping up oil from the well cap. Since then, I haven’t heard a word about the proposition. What gives? (Sal ~ Palo Cedro, CA)
A. First of all, the White House told the media to get away from the story. Secondly, they backed off from their position after realizing, maybe after reading my response, that they looked like the fools which they are.

WHITE HOUSE UNLOADS ON FOX

Hot on the heels of seizing and closing down over 73,000 blogs, a fact not covered anywhere in the news media, the Obama Administration has taken an overt turn in its war with Fox News by claiming that it was Fox who caused the Shirley Sherrod affair. It has been said that Sherrod was told to pull over off the road and resign because her tape was going to be center stage on the Glenn Beck Show that night. The fact is that the Sherrod story was not even mentioned on Glenn Beck’s show that night. The line from the White House is that they were “snookered” into firing Sherrod by Fox’s coverage of the affair, but Sherrod was fired before the story ever hit Fox News. There is concern that the White House may use this attack on Fox as an excuse to have the FCC jerk their license to broadcast.

COMMENTS:
If that should happen, I think there would be rioting in the streets of Washington. As dumb as they often appear to be, the Czars of the Inner Circle must be aware of that probability and I therefore doubt they will shut down Fox. Given the shutdown of those blogs, by the way, I really didn’t expect to be posting this one today.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What will happen with Charlie Rangel? (Julio ~ Des Plaines, IL)
A. By rights, he should go to jail. His illegal and unethical escapades have been well-known for several years and Nancy Pelosi has been at the forefront of his defense. However, the evidence is now so strong that not even Nancy can sweep it under the rug. He may get tossed out of Congress, but that is not a given. He will not face criminal charges and will not go to jail. Given that only 11% of Americans now think that Congress is worth a damn, anything could happen.

Q. What do you think will come of the U.S. vs. Arizona case on the illegal immigration issue? (Karen ~ San Jose, CA)
A. It is established law that the U.S. has jurisdiction over immigration matters. Years ago, the Feds enacted a law, which Arizona mimicked. There is a strong argument to throw out the Arizona law and that could happen. However, there is another underlying principle involved; if a responsibility and authority is yours, and you fail to exercise your authority and meet your responsibility, you “abdicate” it; you give your authority up. Holder might be unpleasantly surprised and we may hear today, surely by Monday.

Q. What about the hearings on The Hill about the release of the Lockerbie Bomber? (Penelope ~ Lincoln, CA)
A. It’s a very dangerous situation with all of that gas and hot air in one place at the same time.

OBAMA SHUTS DOWN 73,000 BLOGS!

The number of blogs shut down by the Obama Administration has risen from 40,000 a few days ago to over 73,000. The Administration claims the sites were using pirated video and copyrighted material in their content. No advance notice was given, no criminal charges have been filed, no court hearings have been held and no Court Orders were used to seize the sites. Fears are that this action is only the beginning, and that more sites will be targeted as the months roll on.

COMMENTS:
This is a clear violation of the First Amendment and several other provisions of the Constitution. If the websites were using material illegally, there is a clear cut way to deal with it: you file a notice to cease and desist, you file charges in Court, and you get a Court Order. This amounts to storm trooper tactics reminiscent of Germany and the Soviet Union. Marxist-style oppression is now out in the open… In America, of all places!

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think about this Lockerbie Bomber story? (Thad ~ Hoboken, NJ)
A. I don’t know what all of the fuss is about. The guy got freed; he got on a plane and went to Libya. He’s not coming back. There’s nothing, not one damn thing, anybody can do about it. Why don’t they get upset about the trampling on our Constitution that’s going on by the Obama Empire? Good God, you’d think a bad case of lunacy has struck the country.

Q. Will Blago get off? (Denise ~ Elk Grove, CA)
A. No. He’s going to be found guilty and Obama will pardon him in a few weeks. That was the deal when he agreed not to take the stand.

Q. Wow! What do you think about that 130 pound catfish they caught? (Juanita ~ West Sacramento, CA)
A. Maybe they’ll get some grits and watermelon and send it all over to the White House for dinner. (This is probably my last blog anyway, so what the hell……?)

LINDSAY LOHAN GOES TO JAIL!!!!

COMMENTS:
That’s the big news of the day. Nothing about Ahmadinejad and his nuclear ambitions. Nothing about that midget from North Korea. I guess we have our priorities straight? WHEN IN THE SAM HELL ARE WE GOING TO GET REPONSIBLE MEDIA IN THIS COUNTRY?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s your opinion on the extension of unemployment benefits? (Lucy ~ Preston, ID)
A. The Republicans have it right, but they have it wrong. The Congress passed a resolution saying that any additional expenditures would have to be within the budget. Then, the Democrats refused to pass a budget. So, the Republicans took the position that there would have to be some reduction of spending to cover the costs of the extended benefits. To that point, I agree. Now, however, the Democrats decided to play politics. No one in their right mind would deny people who are out of work through no fault of their own under these circumstances, extended benefits. But, the Dems blamed the Repubs and then proceeded to pass the extension after a delay where everyone got uptight. The Republicans made a mistake by not hammering the fact home that the Democrats are flatly refusing to pass a budget so that they can spend whatever they want.

Q. I saw yesterday where the Obama Administration is now out there shutting down blogs and websites. Why are we not hearing about this? (Burt ~ Tucson, AZ)
A. Ask the Associated Press. Over 40,000 websites and blogs have been shut down within the past few days.

Q. The stock market stays above 10,000, but it is sure volatile. Should I gamble and invest? (Myrna ~ Montgomery Creek, CA)
A. Between now and November 2nd, it’s risky at best. After that, hell no, don’t invest.

ANTI-TEA PARTY HARANGUE HEATS UP

Several charges have come forth in the past few days, allegations that members of the Tea Parties are racists and that black members of Tea Parties are Nazis. The anti-Tea Party rhetoric comes at a time when Democratic polls are in the dumps.

COMMENTS:
Again, whenever these donkeys are put into a position where they have to win the argument on its merits, they fail and they resort to shout downs and denigrating attacks. It’s a despicable tactic reminiscent of the Marxist era and Americans are getting sick and tired of it. When Pelosi couldn’t defend the Health Care Bill on its merits, she yelled racism and accused Americans of being “Astroturf.” Both Reid and Obama have done the same.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I hear that Michelle Bachmann is forming a Tea Party caucus in Congress. Does this mean that the Tea Party is going to organize itself into a political party? (Karlene ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. The fact that the Republicans are faltering and flatly refusing to show leadership at the National Committee level, and that the disgusting tactics of the Democratic Party continue unabated leaves the door open for the Tea Parties to organize. It’s not just one Tea Party, there are many. I don’t look for them to be up and running before November, but I think they’re concluding that the only way to save this country is to change the system back to what it was when this country was founded. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats appear to be willing to lead that charge.

Q. Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan has been working on a legal strategy regarding the forthcoming lawsuits about the Health Care Plan. Now, she says she will not recuse herself from the cases when they come before the Supreme Court. Isn’t that a direct conflict of interest? (David ~ Athens, GA)
A. Yes, it is. But, like the Health Care Plan we didn’t want, she is going to be confirmed and there’s not a damned thing we can do about it except vote the people out in November who go along with it.

Q. So, Mel Gibson was hanging around with a porn star? (Connie ~ Redding, CA)
A. Yeah, and he’s not even a Congressman!

BP, ADMINISTRATION CLASH OVER NEXT GULF OIL MOVE

BP now says it wants to keep the temporary cap on the oil well closed; the administration wants BP to hook a pipe up to it and open the valve to bring oil to the surface and reduce pressure at the well head.

COMMENTS:
Some people are suggesting that BP wants to force the government into a “Unilateral Order of Consent” ordering them to comply so that they can escape further legal and monetary liability if anything goes wrong. Here’s the skinny. For weeks, ever since the fire, Obama and his Czarist Empire have taken the position that they do not know anything about the technicalities of dealing with the leak. They agreed to take charge of the cleanup and for BP to handle the well head. Now, all of the sudden Obama and his cronies are claiming that they are the experts after all and they want to boss BP around regarding the cap. I normally would be the last person on the face of the earth to side with BP on anything, but Obama is totally wrong, wrong, and wrong in trying to assert any role on this well head at this time. Those Czarist meatheads are as phony as a three dollar bill and Obama is a first-class jerk. Period.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s your opinion on the Mel Gibson thing? (Geraldo ~ Brooklyn, NY)
A. He should be a Czar in the Obama Empire.

Q. You’ve already mentioned it, but where do Biden and Pelosi and those guys get off claiming they will win in November and lead the country on to more of their crappy ways? (Imogene ~ Medford, OR)
A. Obviously, they and Acorn are going to be in charge of the polls again?

Q. Here we go with more earthquakes again. Now, it’s Alaska. Isn’t California really ripe for a big one? (John ~ Round Mountain, CA)
A. The story has always been that there were so many people moving to California that there would be a major earthquake and California would drop off into the ocean. Now, with the state economy in a shambles and taxation, regulation and government intrusion into people’s lives being the games of the day, people are leaving California in droves. That reduces the pressure on the tectonic plates. I think the next major U.S. earthquake will be in Nevada.

The billboard went up in downtown Mason City, Iowa last week and was sponsored by a local Tea Party group. The White House declined to comment on the sign.

COMMENTS:
Well, if the White House isn’t going to say anything, why should I?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you think Hillary will run for President in 2012? (Fran ~ Burney, CA)
A. That’s a lead-pipe cinch. She’ll run against Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination and will win.

Q. What do you think of BP’s admission that it lobbied for the release of the Lockerbie Bomber? (Garth ~ Missoula, MT)
A. Really makes you want to fill up with BP's ARCO gas, doesn’t it?

Q. If “Hussein” is really President Obama’s middle name, why does he so vehemently object to its use? (Mattie ~ Hollywood, CA)
A. For the same reasons he denied being a member of Jeremiah Wright’s church.

OBAMA: POLLS IN THE DUMPSTER

President Obama would undoubtedly lose to any potential Republican candidate in 2012, according to most polls. Additionally, he would lose beyond a doubt in Democratic primaries against Hillary Clinton. Clinton seems to be positioning herself for a run.

COMMENTS:
These are all moot issues, because I still do not believe that Obama will finish this term. I think that events are going to force him to either resign or he will be impeached. That means we need to be looking at polls involving Joe Biden. I happen to think that Biden would make a good President. I think the country, and the Republicans in particular, have sold him short. Besides, after all we have been through with Obama, it’s time we had a good laugh.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Yesterday, I heard that an unknown plumber may have come up with the design of the cap that has so far stopped the flow of oil from the Gulf leak. Do you have any idea who he or she is? (Phil ~ Abilene, TX)
A. If the administration gets its spin on the story, it’ll turn out that it was either a Black Panther from Philadelphia or an illegal from Juarez. Actually, whoever came up with the idea exhibited down-to-earth American ingenuity, the kind that Obama would just as soon stifle. After all, if you have too many smart asses around, how can you possibly hold yourself out as being the smartest smart ass of all? Wow, I’ll probably get thrown in jail for that answer.

Q. John Daly flipped his lid at the British Open. Does he hold the record for the worst temper on the golf course? (Mervine ~ Edmond, OK)
A. I think David Graham from Australia holds that record.

Q. Now we hear about massive Medicare fraud. Could it be that Obama can actually cut $500 billion from Medicare just in fraud alone? (Sammy ~ Arcata, CA)
A. If Obama can create or save 3.5 million jobs, Obama can do anything. So sayeth the Speaker of the House.

CONGRESS PASSES FINANCIAL REFORM FARCE

The legislation gives regulators the far-reaching ability and time to come up with new rules, requires scores of studies and, in some instances, depends on international agreements falling into place.

COMMENTS:
It also establishes a new layer of Washington bureaucracy, fails to stop actions such as those by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that led us into this mess, and lets Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd off the hook for their disastrous role in our national depression. Yes, depression…. And my prediction is that, within two weeks after the November election, the stock market will be under 7,000 and we’ll be back in deep trouble with no money left in the till.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Presidents Bush and President Clinton usually made their quick speeches or pronouncements from the White House Press Room, but Obama has never appeared there. He always has these big “to-do” gatherings on the steps or in the White House. Why? (Wanda ~ Lafayette, IN)
A. As the Messiah, he fancies himself to have a flock which much be ministered to. Besides, going to the Press Room is not only beneath his dignity, it also opens him up to the possibility of having to answer an honest question.

Q. I suppose now that the oil leak has been capped, Obama will claim credit for it? (Al – Marshalltown, IA)
A. Someone has to grab credit for it and Al Gore is busy getting another massage. (You think she rubbed him in the wrong way?)

Q. Harry Reid is saying he will win in November. Is that possible? (Hank ~ Corning, CA)
A. If it does, the nation will quit going to Las Vegas. You can bet on that.

DEMOCRATS SAY THEY WILL NOT LOSE IN 2010

In response to remarks over the weekend by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, several prominent Democrats have come forward to insist that they will not lose the House OR the Senate in 2010.

COMMENTS:
That braggadocio doesn’t really bother me. What does bother me is that, in the same breath, they go on to add, “And our goals and agendas will not change.” That scares the hell out of me, because they obviously have not learned squat. Up to this point, I’ve been of the opinion that I didn’t care whether or not Republicans win in 2010, we just need to get rid of incumbents. Granted, the Republicans lack leadership and solutions, but if the Democrats have not learned that we mean business, then I’m reluctantly going to have to say that we need to have a Republican Congress come November 3rd. We definitely don’t need more of the same as we’ve been getting.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The White House is running around like chickens with their heads cut off claiming that the stimulus bills saved or created more jobs than even they imagined. Where do they get the gall to do this? (Lanny ~ Yakima, WA)
A. Remember when they got caught claiming their Recovery Act Money was creating jobs in non-existent Congressional Districts? When it comes to numbers of any kind and the White House, remember that they lie through their teeth. That's a fact.

Q. Obama is suing Arizona over its immigration law and they are flat ignoring “sanctuary” cities that harbor and protect illegals. What gives? (Karen ~ Sacramento, CA)
A. I think it’s obvious.

Q. I understand that there have been some heated discussions in the few Town Hall Meetings that have been held this summer. Are we going to be treated to name calling and talk-downs like the dimwits laid on us last year? (Samantha ~ Richmond, CA)
A. They can’t carry on intelligent conversations, so they have no choice but to yell, scream and call us names.

GREATEST THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY: DEBT

President Obama, faced with the results of the creation of his runaway spending and with his back to the wall on the economy and rising national debt, recently named a “Debt Commission” to examine the crisis and to make recommendations. The two leaders of the commission, Republican Alan Simpson and Democrat Erskine Bowles, have told the National Governor’s Association that the situation is grim. "This debt is like a cancer," Bowles said in a sobering presentation; "It is truly going to destroy the country from within."

COMMENTS:
More and more voices, including the President’s own people, are raising the red flag of danger. When the commission was created, the prevailing reaction was that it would just be used as an excuse to raise taxes. Well, Barry, I’ve got news for you; if you have any thought of raising taxes before you start meaningful budget cuts, you may well be surprised. Everything you have done to our economy, Barry, has made it worse. May God be with your successor, whoever that might be, because he certainly will have a horrible mess to deal with in every respect.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The exciting news is that the Gulf Oil spill might be sealed off. How long will it take to clean up the remaining oil? (Kyle ~ Lake Havasu, AZ)
A. Let’s get it sealed off first, then an actual permanent cap placed on it before we get excited. Even if this ends the leak, it will be decades before the effects are fully mitigated.

Q. I see that the NAACP has come out and accused Tea Parties of being racist. What’s your reaction? (Mollie ~ Bishop, CA)
A. The NAACP has never been known to play with a full deck. Actually, if you want to know where the true racists in this country really are, the NAACP’s a great place to start. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black… That’s all just fomenting the anger and division in this country at the behest of President Barack Hussein Obama.

Q. I hear that the names, addresses and other information about illegal aliens is circulating in Utah. Who did it? (Sandy ~ Alturas, CA)
A. My guess is that it was done by Obama agents trying to stir up a backlash against the Arizona immigration law.

IF LOSES, HOLDER VOWS TO SUE ARIZONA AGAIN!

Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General now faced with a growing number of states vowing to mimic Arizona’s new immigration law, has vowed to continue suing Arizona again and again if he loses his current United States vs. Arizona lawsuit.

COMMENTS:
This is tantamount to overt oppression against the will of the people and state’s rights. We have nothing but a bunch of crooks, mobsters and demigods in Washington. We know what we must do in November; they must either be removed or so isolated and surrounded that they are impotent.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Yesterday, Congressman Ciro Rodriguez from Texas blew a gasket at a question. What’s your opinion? (Marylou ~ Taos, NM)
A. As you know, I have a dim view of any incumbent. I am not taking sides here, Republican vs. Democrat, but I think that those who have “lost it” and browbeaten their constituents have predominantly been liberal Democrats who can’t deal with honest questions or criticism. Here is a classic example of someone who simply must be replaced. He obviously thinks his poop doesn’t stink and that he is above dealing with us dumb citizens. Pardon my use of the French word for "shit."

Q. What’s your opinion on Roman Polanski getting off? (Hugo ~ Boydton, VA)
A. He must be a clandestine member of the Black Panther Party.

Q. Obama has issued another drilling moratorium. I thought a Court overruled him. (Bill ~ Montgomery Creek, CA)
A. The Administration’s new tactic seems to be that, if defeated in Court, they will keep on filing motions and orders until they find a Court that will rule in their favor.

HOLDER RENEWS EFFORT TO CLOSE GUANTANAMO, TRY KSM IN CIVILIAN NEW YORK COURT

Holder now says that trying KSM in a military Court might mean he would not get the death penalty, even if he pleaded guilty, but that he could get the death penalty if tried in a civilian Court.

COMMENTS:
Wow, what double-talk is that? He might not get the death penalty if it’s a military trial and he might get the death penalty if it’s a civilian trial? Maybe that all has a bearing on why he dropped charges against those Black Panthers in Philadelphia? Maybe the grass he smokes is from Venezuela and not Columbia? Maybe he should just pack his bags and get out of town?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I heard that the Federal Government has some direct responsibility in the Gulf Oil disaster. What is it? (Milo ~ Chester, CA)
A. BP-ARCO wanted to drill in 500 feet of water off the coast of Louisiana. Louisiana agreed to the drilling. The Feds refused and told BP the only available area to drill at was…. Where the Deep Horizon went down in 5,000 feet of water. Now, there was no prior similar drilling and no plan on how to handle something like this and yet the feds authorized that. If they had not done so, if they had authorized drilling at the first site, we would not be having the problem we are.

Q. Now they’re talking about a national sales tax. Value-added tax, more income tax, sales tax, tax this, tax that. Why aren’t they cutting spending before they start raising taxes? This is pure B.S. (Waldo ~ Stinson Beach, CA
A. Yes, it is. And, you should be upset enough to raise hell about it.

Q. What are people who have been out of work for two years going to do now that unemployment benefits will no longer be extended? (Sally ~ Prescott, AZ)
A. Ask Tim Geithner. He’s the one who has all of our money.

LOHAN SNUFS OUT THE NEWS

The continuous coverage of the trials and tribulations of actress Lindsey Lohan has drowned out every minute tidbit of the real news. For several days now, we have not been able to hear about immigration, the oil spill, the disastrous health care bill, Blagojevich, or any other newsworthy story.

COMMENTS:
Who wants to listen to lies, misstatements, deceptions and outright propaganda anyway? We’d rather follow the Lohan story.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Do you believe there will ever be a widespread repudiation of Obama and his Marxist regime? (Tyler ~ Boise, ID)
A. Yes. You can make it happen.

Q. Who do you think the candidates will be in 2012? (Callie ~ Layton, UT)
A. Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi vs. Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush. I really love my government. I do. I swear I do.

Q. Why isn’t the Republican Party doing something to improve its image and leadership? (Jess ~ Cottonwood, AZ)
A. They’re too busy trying to figure whether or not they should just go ahead and merge with the Democratic Party and make it official.

OBAMA JUBULANT OVER GULF OIL NEWS

Federal officials announced late yesterday that a new, tighter fitting cap could contain the ongoing Gulf Oil disaster as early as Monday. The new cap is in the process of being lowered and fitted; crews using remote-controlled submarines plan to swap out the cap over the weekend, taking advantage of a window of good weather following weeks of delays caused by choppy seas.

COMMENTS:
I suppose Obama will grasp at anything to try and get his sinking poll numbers reversed. The fact is that, if the new cap works Obama had nothing to do with it. He has had extremely poor performance ratings over this debacle, proving that he is at the very least inept. While we are all hoping and praying that this new effort will succeed, we need to understand that containment efforts now underway should have occurred within a very short time after the oil rig sank. The fact that efforts did not really get underway until two weeks ago is beyond comprehension.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I hear that Senator Harry Reid is desperate in his reelection bid? (Marv ~ Schenectady, NY)
A. Desperate enough that he asked Obama to come and campaign for him this weekend.

Q.  (Ted ~ Beaumont, TX)How long will it be before the trial of Khalid Sheik Mohamed?
A. Although Holder and his boys were hoping it would be under way by now, the public got so very angry over plans to have the trial in New York City that the trial will probably not happen under this President. We may have to wait for Bush III.

Q. I heard that Barbara Boxer is in big trouble in California? (Harriett ~ Fairbanks, AK)
A. Americans seem to be making good on their fight to get rid of snotty incumbents.

BLACK PANTHERS ARE AN AFFRONT TO THE DIGNITY OF MANKIND

The Black Panther Party is advocating killing all whites and their babies.

COMMENTS:
This is inciting violence and mayhem, pure and simple. The fact that they openly say these things is an absolute threat on my life, as far as I am concerned. Yet, Holder seems to like them; he’s protecting them from prosecution. It makes one wonder what connection these Marxists have to the White House, doesn’t it?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now that some time has passed, what do Americans think about the new Health Care Bill? (Jenny ~ Mt. Vernon, WA)
A. 62% of Independents want it repealed. 64% of Americans overall want it repealed. Less than 20% are fully satisfied with it, now that the true costs are leaking out. However, be aware that it could be 100% of the people against it and Pelosi, Reid and Obama would not care.

Q. Isn’t there some way we can get Obama out of office? (Vicente ~ Tucson, AZ)
A. The Constitution basically says a President can be impeached, can resign, can die in office or can reach the end of his term. Aren’t you glad you voted for him?

Q. I think I remember that the people putting up the new wind turbines on Mt. Hatchet were only going to put up one and then let the community decide whether or not to go ahead. Now, I see they are going up like crazy. What happened? (Jim ~ Burney, CA)
A. Like the government, they only told us what they wanted us to hear so that they could have their way with us. I suppose you believe in the tooth fairy, too?

27,000 GULF WELLS POSE DANGER

There are 27,000 abandoned oil and gas wells in the Gulf that could leak, according to several environmental groups. Federal inspectors and regulators don’t typically inspect the plugging process of offshore wells or come back to inspect them for leaks, although such wells located in surface areas have leaked in the past. Petroleum engineers say that even in properly sealed wells, the cement plugs can fail over the decades and the metal casing that lines the wells can rust.

COMMENTS:
Theoretically, they have been collecting fees from operators for the purpose of funding an inspection and regulation program. I’m sure the money is around, maybe hiding with our Social Security funds under a rock some place.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why does Obama keep appointing people to positions when Congress is out of session? That’s dirty politics. (Jan ~ Chiloquin, OR)
A. Every President has done it. The provision was designed to allow the President to name people to critical vacancies when the Congress was not in session; keep in mind that they only met for a few weeks a year back in the old days. Today, the rule is unneeded and either the rule should be abolished, or Congress should. Bye, bye Nancy?

Q. I’m concerned about the growing number of Muslims in this country and our national security. And, we have a President who is running around telling government officials to be nicer to Muslims. What is really going on? (Karen ~ San Diego, CA)
A. Sometimes, you really need to dig to get the facts. That’s becoming more and more the case as Obama and his Czars seek to cover up their dastardly deeds. They can’t have prayer in schools, but Muslims can bring their Korans to school. Get the message now?

Q. Just a few days ago, the news was filled with allegations by Rod Blagojevich regarding Obama and his stooges. Now, we don’t hear anything. Why? (Lyle ~ Fall River Mills, CA)
A. Because they don’t want you to know what is going on. Blagojevich justified his shakedowns and corruption by pointing out that everyone does it. Therefore, it must be legal and right and is not newsworthy.

OIL DISASTER MAY SINK OBAMA PRESIDENCY

On day 79 of the disaster, oil and tar balls have touched every American shore in the Gulf. The President, with his back firmly up against the wall, has reluctantly allowed oil skimmers from other countries to come to our aid, including the giant “Whale” that is capable of skimming and separating oil from up to 21 million gallons a day.

COMMENTS:
It is testimony to the ability and intent of the Obama Administration that Obama denied such help until the political clamor got too hot to handle. Now, it is tropical storm season and the ability of the whale and 500 other smaller skimmers to do their job is in danger. The water temperature and other factors are likely to turn the Gulf into a cesspool of dead fish and marine life punctuated by tar balls for the next 40 years, while affecting the nation’s weather at the same time. The nation is well aware of the many crappy things that this administration has done, but this environmental disaster will long outlive Obama and may well be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. This Black Panther voter intimidation thing happened back in November of 2008. How we’re just hearing about it now? (Brette ~ North Hollywood, CA)
A. Shame on you. I reported on this on my blogs within two days of the election and have mentioned it many times since. Why it is just making headlines now, I’ll never know. I hope it is giving you a picture of how corrupt this administration is.

Q. What do you think about Lindsey Lojan getting 90 days in jail? (Alex ~ Sonoma, CA)
A. It’ll be interesting to see how much of that sentence she actually serves behind bars. Hollywood has a lot of influence in the judicial system, you know, and the fact is that no one should have influence in the judicial system, except O.J. Simpson, that is.

Q. How do you size up Michael Steele’s weekend gaffe? (Sydney ~ Orlando, FL)
A. One size 11 foot in the mouth example of Mad Cow Disease.

REPUBLICANS FACE CRITICAL DECISION

The weekend gaffe of Michael Steele where he denigrated the Afghan war has perturbed stalwart Republicans who don’t want to dump the “racially correct” National Chairman but who also have been under fire for allowing Steele to continue after so many mistakes.

COMMENTS:
Steele has not proven to be a dynamo in his current position. The Republicans have been floundering ever since John McCain got the nomination, and it now appears to many Americans that they are simply an extension of the Democrat Party. While most Americans are infuriated at what Congress and the President have done to this country, they are not by any means enamored with the Republican lack of clear leadership during what they perceive to be a national crisis. The end result may well be that the Republicans who have been salivating at the prospects of regaining control of the House and maybe the Senate will be sorely disappointed in November.

If the Republican Party wants to make its dreams come true, it needs to get rid of Steele and get strong leadership and a firm sense of national direction yesterday.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Since I’ve been on vacation, I’ve no questions to answer this posting.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
